Highly recommended if you enjoy having your irrigation system destroyed.
Last fall we hired these bums to install a root barrier in our front yard. Their «laborer» broke two pipes and simply reburied them. I only found the leak by testing the system after he left. Dirt bag.
To add insult to injury, Jason Cole and his brother made a half assed attempt to fix the pipe but they failed miserably. Don’t call them for any sprinkler repairs.
These bums don’t even deserve one star. Look elsewhere for an arborist.

I am shocked to see the bad reviews as I have lived inside the loop for 5 years and have called on Anthony Rico and his team at Houston Tree Service to care for my trees every year. His crew is always professional and take pride in their work. I always shop around when hiring contractors to avoid paying the «inside the loop» tax contractors often add on when putting together a bid. With Houston Tree Service I’ve always gotten the best price and value.
Thank you Anthony for another job well done.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in this service. They did come out at the agreed time; however, they absolutely destroyed my beautiful yard. Destroyed. When I called to let Craig know the mess the workers left my yard in, he was totally disinterested and unapologetic. He said the yard was wet and this could not be prevented. I felt like, as a professional tree service representative, he should have told me the yard was too wet, and we should have waited until another day. When Craig came out to give the estimate, he led me to believe there would be couple of ruts from the tires, not an entire yard annihilated because the workers kept driving a massive truck in and out. Had I been home, I would have stopped it. Unfortunately, when I came home, the damage was already done, and they were leaving. What started out as a $ 1500 job is now going to cost me another $ 1700 to repair my yard. Don’t use this company.

I called these guys and made an appointment for them to come out and give me a quote. I read these Unilocal reviews but it didn’t seem right that a company would have that many no shows.
I should of listened to the reviews though.
Ashley came out the following day and gave me a quote to trim some trees for about $ 1,000 less than another company. Sounded to good to be true and I went ahead and told him I would like to go ahead with scheduling this. Was told he would call me the following day once he firmed his schedule up. Never heard from him.
Called him 2 days later and he said that they would be out the following day. Well guess what. No one showed up the following day. I called Ashley again and this time he didn’t answer. Left a message, and never received a call back.
Don’t waste your time. Find another company.

THEY NEED A ZERO STAR FEATURE FOR THIS COMPANY. NEVER USE THEM… NEVER EVER!!! Same as the other reviews, they still have not showed up and it has been weeks since they were scheduled. The guy has returned a call once to say that they were not making it until the next week. I have called the main number twice and was told the first time that they would definitely be there on Monday… Guess what, no show. I called back and she basically said that there is nothing she can do. So, naturally I asked to speak with someone who could resolve my issue, she stated that this wasn’t possible as the owner does not allow customers to call him. I was speechless, so basically I now have my HOA pressuring fines and legal matters all because this company cannot keep a schedule. I would like to speak with the owner of this company. I can only pray that they read this. I can only guess that they must be very well off since they do not have to keep clients. ABSOLUTELY POOR MANAGEMENT.

Waited around all day for them to show up. he finally called to say he was gonna be late (No kidding??). Then he whined around on the phone about how he had to do this, and that, and that he was hungry and had to stop and eat lunch… at the end of the day he never showed up or called to say he wasn’t going to make it. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE.

I had a similar, almost exactly, the same experience as Kallie B. The crews are unreliable, and quite frankly, I don’t know that THEY know what they’re doing. The tree trimmers that were scheduled did finally show up only to tell me that they weren’t climbers. They couldn’t trim these 60 yr old oaks. They would have to send yet ANOTHER crew out. Who has to date, never shown up. Don’t bother with them. Call Bartlett Tree Service.

I hired them to remove 4 trees yesterday and they did an exceptional job. I live in North Houston and would recommend this company. Thanks!
