Hands down this is the most rocking mural in Houston! So many evenings I simply gaze at this magnificent work of art. It is a refreshing piece of art that captures the spirit of our city. It is bold and lively. A true Houstonian knows of this treasure. This is not a tourist spot whatsoever. If you are a tourist and do happen upon this, consider yourself fortunate and take a picture. What is exceptional about this piece is it changes. Not in drastic ways, as the skyline is the centerpiece, as it should be. The art is vibrant, just as my hometown is. This is a cornerstone of downtown and a remarkable piece of city art. 1,000 dancing Halley puppies!

Great backdrop for our family photos. Shaded by the building and near a park. A must see.

Beautiful mural! Unfortunately, it’s the wall of a parking lot, so expect to get some cars in your photo.

There’s usually one or two cars parked in front of the mural, which completely ruins the perfect photo. But it’s a cool place to take pictures if you’re looking to kill time in downtown Houston. There’s also a park right across the street. Just stay away from the actual wall. It kinda smells.

This colorful mural is a great addition to Downtown Houston! The vibrant colors give me so much joy my heart might burst.

With a recent talk thread popping up, I wanted to go ahead and create an official Unilocal listing for this relatively new Houston Landmark. It was finished and unveiled back in May of 2013. It’s a nice addition to downtown. It is at the corner of Travis & Preston. If you need an exact GPS address input Frank’s Pizza and it’s just right around the corner from it. If you come on the weekends you can get a clear shot of the work of art. During the weekdays, there are usually cars parked here. Another fun addition to the many spots tourists should come and visit.
