Hampton Inn & Suites Houston-Cypress Station

I should build a list of Hampton Inns.
I booked this Hampton Inn the same day as my trip. It turned out to be a great choice, since my business was a short distance away. Everyone on the staff was friendly, especially the lady serving breakfast – breakfast was great, as usual, but there were three issues I had there:
1) we booked a room with a late (2PM) checkout time. After checking with them, the hotel didn’t agree. They wanted to charge us another day if we were there past 1200.
2) My wife complained about a smell after she got into bed. I didn’t notice it until I got into bed, then I smelled it too. It was a chemical-​like smell, but not bleach. Weird.
3) The A/​C in the room was loud, a fact you only notice if you cannot sleep.

After several e-​mails and calls to Hilton there has been no resolution, The hotel failed to give me Hilton points or send me a receipt for the stay they charged me for. I am sure they rented my room. I am disappointed in Hilton for their lack of response. They did end up giving me points for my reservation and apologize for the hotel but I will never stay there again. I will also spread the word about this shoddy and rude hotel and make sure my company doesn’t use them. This is wrong on multiple levels — not the typical Hilton response or reputation,

We used Hampton hotel in the past, but this one was different. I think they do not have any maintenance workers there. Our bathroom door would not close because it was scraping the floor. Their Jacuzzi didn’t work with a big sign «sorry for the inconvenience». Inside pool water was freezing. It is like pouring cold water at home in the tub and taking a bath in it. Clock on the wall in the pool area didn’t work. Can you just put new batteries in it? Air conditioner was working non stop. Our window was looking out at some construction site.
Breakfast was ok if you are not counting 2 annoying ladys that would constantly look in your plate and what you are getting to eat. One of them would tell everybody how much batter to pour to make a waffle. This is not my first waffle. Would not stay there again.

With an exception to the rude little girl working the front counter I actually enjoyed my stay here quite well. The room was clean and spacious and breakfast was also good. I’d stay here again.

I’m always a fan of Hampton Inn. Nice rooms at great prices. This one is right off 1960 and 45 with easy access to both!

So nice! Very clean. All the employees are very nice and helpful. An exceptional Hampton Inn. Nice park nearby for dirt-​path running. Breakfast is fine. Did I say clean? VERY! Stay here!

This hotel is close to the George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) Airport, Woodlands Mall, and Champions Golf Course. They offer free internet and free hot breakfast.
