Wow what an awesome experience my daughter and I had! We started off by meeting Simon and explaining to him what we were looking for in stylists and he hooked us up perfectly! Not to mention treated is like he knew is forever. We were both looking for a stylist and a salon to call home after moving here and we have found it! Melissa treated me perfectly and gave me a beautiful hair style that I loved! And Patty was every bit as awesome with my daughter. When got home my husband said we both looked very beautiful! A huge thank you to all the staff at Hair Revolution for treating us like family! We can’t wait to come back!

Yesterday was my first visit and it will certainly be my last. If you like paying $ 200 for a hair cut, high lights and low lights, then this is a good place for throwing away your extra money.
Nicki was my stylist, and she seems to be a very nice young lady. My haircut was so so, (cut too short on already short hair) and my highlights were nothing great. Very disappointed.
I had sticker shocked when I went to pay, and was told $ 194.00. I will not be back at those prices. I can get the same cut, highlight & lowlights for about $ 50 less at most other salons in this area of town.

Wonderful salon with great atmosphere. Everyone is really nice and extremely helpful with suggestions on products and services. I’ve been seeing Patty now for about 6 months. Never disappoints and really fun.
Listens to what I want after problems with a previous salon. Love this place.

An outstanding experience with Jazzy! She may be young, but her talent for listening to what the customer wants, and delivering puts her in par with long time experts in the field. Her skills as a colorist are undeniable. The results exceeded my expectations! My color was rich, multidimensional, and natural looking. I have had so many compliments on my hair (and it was incredibly affordable). I HIGHLY recommend her!

I’ve been here three times in the last 6 months. Twice for color and once for a haircut. I see Niki and she is awesome. She’s super sweet and personable. The first time I saw her was for a color correction. I’d gone somewhere else and they gave me a horrible ombré. I came in for my consult and she assured me she could fix it and she did! After seeing her my hair was exactly what I wanted it to be. She’s honest too which I like. She won’t let me leave with jacked up hair like the other place I went to. Everyone else is really nice too. I definitely enjoy coming here and they have complimentary wine. Win. Win.

Since moving to the clear lake area a year ago I have found my hair stylist at this great salon! Its a great location for me just down the street from where I live. It’s very inviting they always offer something to drink when I walk in to check in. Pretty upscale minus the upscale pricing! I’m a loyalist to Bianca. She’s great at natural highlights, cut, and blowout!

I took my brother here after searching for weeks for a good place to get his haircut. He’s been wanting to change his look but he was very picky about where he wanted to go. I talked him into trying this place out and he came out extremely happy! He was scheduled with Patty and she did an amazing job! He’s been raving about his hair non-​stop. Love this place.

Got a great haircut from Thao at Hair Revolution. Friendly, careful, nice cut. Hard to beat!

I wanted to change up my ombré and decided to add hi lights and low lights so I set an appointment with my favorite hairdresser. My roots were obviously much darker than my ends, and Patty did an amazing job blending in and matching my new color. I love my color!

So, everyone that reads my reviews knows that I am a loyalist to my girl Rosie at Alanis Salon in Montrose since her days at Marbella. However, I have to admit that I was lead a stray and cheated on her… With Nikki Hurtado at Hair Revolution. *GASP*
Let me explain… Mom went in for a haircut with Thao and I tagged along since I’m nosey like that. Now, Momma H is SUPER finicky about who she entrusts her locks to, and in turn so am I. I noticed that she was relaxed, cool, and collected throughout her session and I watched his technique during the cut. I was sold! Not only was he fast, like Edward Scissorhands fast, but dangit, he was GOOD! He gave her a blowout and I was utterly impressed with the volume, precision, and the outcome of her hair. I went with the moment and had to ask Steven about setting up a consultation for a cut and color — that’s how good Thao was. So, he set me up with Nikki and I went in the following week for a consultation. This young lady knew what she was talking about. We talked about my past experiences and adventures in color, I told her how I was a loyalist to Rosie and her team, but I would love to find a stylist closer to home. She showed me her recent work (portfolio), and I felt at ease with her. We agreed on the technique she should apply for my coloring and the hue itself. While we chit chatted, she gave me a bang trim, which I was super satisfied with. Heck, I went home to roller set my hair to wear it straight the next day just to show my bangs off :)
I set up an appointment with her for the pièce de résistance — color and layering. I’m excited and can’t wait to see what Nikki brings to the table in terms of color… Stay Tuned.

Modern salon. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. The salon is nestled in a quiet part of the neighborhood, which is what I like. When I came in, I was immediately greeted by courteous staff.
I was lucky to receive an appointment in the same day that I called which was convenient for my schedule. Melissa, my stylist, was personable and really listened to what I wanted to achieve, hairstyle-​wise. Her advice catered to developing my own hairstyle and after discussing with Melissa my hair plans and receiving knowledgable advice, I felt comfortable leaving my hair in her capable hands.
From shampoo to cut to styling, she is an expert and superb at her job. She was gentle with handling my rebellious but thin hair and used products that would help my type of hair without damaging it.
I left the salon impressed by their efficient and quality service. Melissa and Hair Revolution has earned a regular customer.

I’ve been seeing Patty and Simon for the last 10 years and I’ve followed them EVERYWHERE! Used to live in Cypress and I’d make the trip across town just to get my hair done there. Can’t say enough about this place and their staff. Love it!

Being from out of state I was very nervous to get my haircut while away from my long-​term stylist back home. I have a short women’s cut and am always afraid stylists won’t know how to keep it fresh and not just cut it like I’m 60. Melissa cut my hair and she was fabulous. She took the time to do a really great job with the very short part and cut layers exactly how I wanted. I definitely recommend this salon to women with short hair, who like «edgy”/new styles and don’t just want to same old boring short cut.

Thao Nguyen did my hair and I am absolutely in love with it! He did such an amazing job! I came in with an idea of what I wanted, showed him a picture of what bangs I liked and he gave me his intake. I walked out feeling like a new woman! The salon is well kept and they even offer you something to drink. I look forward to going back in the near future!

Simon and his staff are well experienced and are always learning new techniques to keep up with all the latest trends. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed and offered a drink. The atmosphere is so modern and everyone seems happy to work there.
Simon is an expert in color. He has tons of experience and is able to give you something you want along with realistic expectations. He is able to give you proper judgment and guidance so your hair doesn’t «fry» or that the blend of your current color and the color you want brings the best results.
Mellisa is amazing at cutting hair and styling. She is commonly known for her updos for special occasions. She gives you exactly what you want and you walk out of their like a hair model.
Joel was BORN to cut hair! This guy can make your hair look so perfect almost looks like a wig. After two haircuts with him I stopped giving him direction and let him do whatever he wanted. Every single time, I was amazed!
I have been with these guys for 11 years. There is a reason they are always so booked! They are simply amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I know y’all have been waiting on pins and needles for my 100^th review.. . ha! Well here it is. This place is just lovely! Seriously, this is the best haircut I’ve ever had.
Once upon a time, a little biracial girl named Sheila (with coarse, impossibly thick black hair) went with her little Caucasian grandmother to her little Caucasian hairdresser with a picture of little Caucasian Jennifer Anniston. Little Sheila thought she might look nice with Jennifers’ jaw lenth piece-​y bob. Decades later, after the trauma of going through all of middle school and (then high school too) with the nickname «Afro-​Puff» following me down the halls and successfully destroying any pictures of the tragic haircut, I have finally made peace with that life lesson. I guessed it was time to give haircuts another shot.
I did a lot of research on here. I didn’t want to pay $ 400 dollars, but I wanted a nice salon that wasn’t going to traumatize me further. I needed this to be a cathartic experience, and it was.
They have the option of requesting a hair appointment 24 hours a day via their website which I thought was super convenient and felt I could explain my situation a little more eloquently without getting flustered. I posted it after work and I was called the following morning with my request and the time I picked confirmed. Awesome, convenient! I was told I would be with Patty since my haircut was a bit more challenging (cutting over a foot off) than some run of the mill cuts.
Patty was awesome! She was super confident and experienced in her abilities which put me at ease immediately. She was kind and totally respectful of what a big deal to me this haircut was. She was methodical and really took her time making sure it was exactly what I wanted, asking if I wanted to revise things along the way. She was completely receptive to my requests, but also incredibly helpful with suggestions when I admitted I had no idea what I was doing. She even took the after pictures of my perfect haircut for me!
The whole thing cost $ 59 bucks before tip which I thought was an incredible deal for a shampoo, condition, cut, blow-​out, and she even curled my hair for a wedding I was about to attend.
You can’t beat the location if you live around here and the atmosphere was cute and welcoming with flattering lighting which I appreciated. I highly recommend you give it a shot!

I have been going to Simon since 2002. What can I say? Only that my hair has been fabulous for fourteen years. Simon ALWAYS puts my needs first and accommodates my hectic schedule with his very own demanding schedule.
All the staff are very attentive and gracious.
The salon is very clean and modern.
You never see any hair or dirty towels lying around. Very good vibe and everyone just seems happy to work there.
Simon and his staff are on top of the ever changing hair styles and colors. I know when I walk out the door heads really do turn. No lie.
Melissa has been cutting my hair since 2007. I absolutely love her style! I have sent several of my friends, family members and just people that stop me on the street to Melissa. Everyone just loves her. She is so trendy and accurate. I just cannot give her enough praise.
Hair Revolution is on point! It’s such a pleasant atmosphere and absolutely no pressure of buying their products, unlike nearby chains. But when we are in need Steve at the front desk knows exactly what we want before we even ask for our products. Point being, I would follow Melissa and Simon anywhere and I have.
And that’s why I have the best platinum haircut.
My mom has had a cut with Peggy her last two visits and just loves her style as well.
I haven’t utilized all the stylist yet but I am sure at some point I will. I can tell you from spending time here no-​one leaves without looking their very best.

I had such an amazing experience here! I first called to get some quick info on dying my hair lavender. Simon was so great even right then on the phone. So I walk in that same day, and had the best experience. Everyone was super nice and so excited with me. I had such a great time. It was exactly what a salon should be. Simon was awesome, knew exactly what he was doing and my color came out PERFECT. Not to mention that my haircut was exactly what I wanted. Everything was so awesome and I’m definitely going back. Finally I found a great salon in the area.

I went here for highlights with Simon. I left with orange/​brassy hair. He did offer color correction services like the other review states below me – but I declined out of fear
of more damage.
The salon is very nice inside and I would come back for a hair cut; just not the hair color services.
