I have been coming to Marcus for over 4 years and his workouts have continued to be a challenge. This gym is located very convenient to home and work at I-10 and Wilcrest/Wycliffe. These are the best workouts in the shortest amount of time that I have ever done. The workout is a crossfit technique with some military and unique training mixed in. I like that it is such a great workout but you don’t feel like your in a crossfit gym doing Olympic lifts for time with no form. He makes sure your pace and form are safe and effective but you won’t be able to slack. His classes are from 4 to 8 on weekdays and 11am Sunday. There are rarely more than 5 to 10 people and it feels like a personal training atmosphere without the price tag that normally comes with that. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a consistent, affordable workout. If I have done it 3 to 4 times a week for 4 years as well many of the other members I would say he is on to something.

I’ve had gym memberships, gone to boot camp, did spinning, aerobics, zumba, personal trainers, you name it, but I’ve never had an experience such as the one I get when I work out at Gym Khaos. The personal attention I get from the instructor is above any other I have experienced. The workouts change every day so not only are you working out different muscles, you won’t get tired of the same old boring routine. If you are serious about fitness, this gym is for you. I’m forever grateful for my friend introducing me to this gym. I love it and look forward to going(I’ve never been able to say that about any other fitness routine).

Not sure how long this gym has been open or how it has such few reviews, but I love it here! I was looking for a workout class that will get me a real workout, is convenient to my office in the energy corridor, and has convenient times. This gym is located right off I-10, near the beltway. We decided to try it out with a LivingSocial deal, but now we are hooked! At first I was wary as the gym is located in a kinda sketchy shopping center. But it’s your typical cross-fit-style, no frills, warehouse-type gym. Not a fancy gym by any means, but nice on the inside with huge fans and all sorts of cool equipment. The trainer/owner, Marcus, is really nice, helpful, and passionate about what he does. Before we started our classes, he had us come in to show us the proper techniques on a few workouts, and just to gauge our fitness level prior to starting classes. I really liked that he makes sure your form is correct on each exercise that you do, and that he explains why we do each exercise, what it works, and why your form is important. Now about the classes– they kick your BUTT. You will be drenched in sweat and sore for days. The workouts are quick and effective. I feel myself getting stronger and much more in shape, and it’s been less than two months. There’s a sense of community with the others in your classes, and the classes are small(usually not more than 5 people each time I’ve been, although I’ve heard the Sunday classes are a bit bigger). I highly recommend this gym-my end-goal is to get enough people to join so that they will start doing morning workouts as well!
