Great American Cookies

Anything brownie is a must! Make it a marble brownie! The sugar cookie and white macadamia nut cookies are extra yummy!

As a lover of sweets, any type of candy or bakery store will catch my eye. I couldn’t and didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to grab a cookie or brownie while shopping in Memorial City mall.
There was a somewhat long line of others partial to sweets but we waited patiently and the line moved along. I was all prepared to get some sort of cookie or red velvet brownie when a sign announcing Reese’s Peanut Butter brownies jumped out at me. What? Reese’s PB brownies!!! I must have this!
The brownie was delicious! A little rich, yes, but who cares? It’s sweets! Made with chunks of Reese’s cups, chocolate and topped with a rich chocolate icing, this tasty brownie was a mouthful of chewy, heavenly goodness. I’m so glad I tried it and I recommend it to any one with a sweet tooth and a love for Reese’s PB cups.
The place was clean and efficient in service. Employees were happy to assist. Everyone seemed to be working in unison and that’s what made the line go so smoothly.
Next time I’m in this mall, I will probably stop by for a sweets fix.

Yes, I love sweets and the one thing that brings me back to Cali are good ‘ol chocolate chip cookies.
After passing by this place more than once, I decided to give it a try. I must have stood there for five minutes and nobody came out to assist me till later… Finally an employee came out of the back, but was not pleasant at all. I ended up giving the place a try anyways so I purchased two Colossal chocoloate chip cookies, one chocolate pecan cookie and one spicy pumpkin cookie. After taking a bite into my chocolate chip cookie, it didn’t have the «homemade» taste that I was longing for. It was more chewy than warm and soft. I actually liked the pumpkin cookie than the others I tried from here…
I was probably better off waiting and just buying Chips Ahoy cookies from the local supermarket.

Every time I go shopping, with no intention of going on a sugar craze that day, there sits Great American Cookie Company in the middle of the mall, just starring me in the face and saying «eat me.» And I always give in.
Their cookie cakes are so incredibly delicious here. I love getting them on my birthday, but you can also buy just a slice. My other favorites here are the M&M double doozies and the chewy chocolate supreme cookies. My sweet tooth really gets me into trouble at this place. It’s so hard to just buy one!
