I love Gotham Pizza! I am new to the Midtown neighborhood and overheard someone talking about this place so I had to try it. This pizza is perfect. The crust is thin and baked in a brick oven, so you get the authentic crisp crack of the crust, topped with the ooey gooey toppings, and then overloaded with toppings. The delivery is super fast(I ordered one for lunch and it was to the office in less than 20 minutes), and the staff is conversational and friendly. The price point is a little higher than Papa Johns/Dominoes/Pizza Hut– but that is not what you ordered! This is quality pizza, quality ingredients and lots of flavor!

Come there very often and like pepperoni and margarita. Pizza is always fresh and tasty. The slices are not small and not very cheap as for me. But it is better for me to pay more and eat a great food than pay less and get cold and dry pizza. Gotham Pizza is a clean place, the workers are kind and attentive. Came there with my friends and we ordered many different slices of pizza, they liked this place too. And they said that it is not an expensive place. So, come and see by yourself. Gotham Pizza suggests a great variety of pizza.

We ordered delivery after a concert on Saturday night. I knew it was late but they deliver until 3am. I got a large pepperoni piZZA, spaghetti w marinara, and fried mozzarella. It took 45 minutes but we didn’t mind. When it got to us. It was almost cold. I know it was delivery but I was expecting it to be a little warm??? My spaghetti was very dry. Almost no sauce on it. But the angel hair was cooked perfectly. The fried Mozz had very little Mozz inside ?? I took a bite and looked through the stick and I was eating straight breadcrumbs no cheese was inside. The pizza was super sloppy and unappetizing. I’m from out of town so I don’t know when or if I will eat this again, but maybe next time I’ll eat in instead of ordering so late.

It’s ok, but doesn’t really justify the price of the pizza. It doesn’t matter how many signs they post saying they take pride in preparing they item fresh every day in store lots of establishments in Houston do this and they DON’T upcharge for doing what everyone should be doing. We ordered the Mozzarella Sticks, which were so close to being burnt I almost sent them back, they didn’t taste burnt so I let slide. $ 10…and they are frozen just like everyone else’s. We got the 12“Meat Lovers, it was good, had a decent amount of topping, thin crust but not great. I have yet to understand why a soggy floppy crust is desirable or «New York.» The cost of this was $ 21. We were given paper plates, the kind you get at a family picnic, with tip these two items cost us $ 40, and we had water to drink and I didn’t tip over generously. I am one of those weirdo’s that rounds up to the nearest dollar, but at that cost you would Think that a washable plate would be given since you care so much about your community and quality.

My girlfriend loves to have a slice of pepperoni pizza from here occasionally. It’s a super huge slice. If it isn’t Frank’s or Luigi’s pizza… this is the spot. We have never ate inside Gothams. we always pick up so I can’t comment on service.

A good place to eat pizza. First time came there with my wife and did not regret. The pizza we ordered was big and the ingredients were fresh, since that time I come there quite often. The prices are good. The workers are friendly and kind. One time I waited for my order much time I got the pizza cold, there were many people and I think it was the reason of it. in general if you are hungry and like pizza I recommend you this place, but if it is crowded, try to find another place in order not to eat cold pizza and get upset about Gotham Pizza.

Only thing I like from here are the pizza rolls. Everything else sucks even the pizza. Service sucks also. Went it one night after 10 and I had no idea it was only counter order. Me and boyfriend walked half way in waiting for a greeting or some type of acknowledgement as in what to do. I wasn’t sure to seat my self or what. When we seated our selfs, chick at the front it like«uh … Yea. Uh u are supposed to order at the front.» Shrugging her shoulders at the other employee like what the heck were we doing sitting down. I’m thinking like, you were staring at us when we walked in why didn’t you say anything when we were looking like dumbasses.

Got into Houston late(about 10pm) on a weekday. Only place open with delivery. They delivered to the hotel and the pizza was pretty good. Had the works 16″ enough for two people. Crust is very good and veggies and meats hit the spot. Would highly recommend if you need pizza late

Great huge slices but NOT worth $ 8.00. TV’s in the background make it entertaining while waiting for your tasty slice.

The only good thing here is the service from the cashier besides that the pizza isn’t worth it nor is the the money spent on it as well. Better off eating domino’s or even a frozen pizza and I hate frozen pizzas.

Rude. Rude. Rude management! After being unable to accept my initial order I called twice about rectifying it. I spoke with a manager who took my number to call me back, never did. Called back and spoke with an associate who relayed a message«from management» to me that I could have my original order + free breadsticks or wine etc. When I called back about this order another associate answered the phone and put the aforementioned manager on the phone. He proceeds to RAISEHISVOICE and act insane without giving me a chance to speak or ask questions about what the prior associate told me etc. I only ordered from here because I live downtown and it was open late. I’d rather starve than deal with rude, unprofessional MANAGEMENT. Free tip: you all might want to look into customer service training because from the look of these reviews I’m not the only unsatisfied customer.

Gotham is a great little find. Locally owned and managed, I personally think its a gem. If you live nearby you can get delivery and even get wine to your front door… =) The establishment itself is a bit old, but charming in its way, if you are looking for an over staffed buffalo wild wings — this is not the place. The local owner(Earl) is generally there during the day and will talk you up something fierce, he is definitely part of the charm and reminds me that east coast ownership you wont get anywhere but buffalo. lol. The food is pretty damn good, but I wouldnt recommend everything. DEFINITELY go for the philly — its the bomb. Steak is QUALITY, like it is probably shipped in specifically for Phillys. Bread is crunchy on the outside and nice and soft inside. My son tried it too and practically fell asleep after the first bit. Pizza is good, not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely quality food, the sausage is to die for and the dough tastes pretty fresh. The marinara is also really good. Gotham rolls — I think you need to order these with the right ingredients to have the orgasm of the mouth… I recommend Pepperoni, Sausage and Ricotta. Definitely want to make sure it is a cheat day, because these are full of soul food calories. I recommend eating any pizza product inside since the parmesan cheese at the tables is top noch(deliver parmesan is not as good) I’m hoping to try the Ziti, as every Italian does it differently. Oh! and the Beer… being new to the area — I found the Buffalo White to be ridiculously tasty(if you like wheat beers). Ciao!

Pizza is ok but the delivery usually takes a while. Last time I ordered it was delivered in much over an hour and the pizza was cold. They even had the wrong toppings on the pizza. We also ordered French fries that were cold and not even edible. Maybe it’s better to dine in.

Best thin-crust pizza in Houston, hands down. Open late. Slightly expensive — about $ 17 – 18 for a large plain cheese, but it’s worth it because of the quality of the pizza and the fact that it’s open late. Highly recommended.

Great late night pizza in Houston! Large single slices. An assortment of specialty pizzas. I tried the Hawaiian, BBQ, and the Meat Lovers. All were awesome! Especially when inebriated lol!

Really a good place to get some pizza. The meat lovers was great, and the real star of the show was the fried ravioli. I haven’t ever had fried ravioli so there’s no comparison for me, but I thought it was great. The only thing that makes this place not a 5 star joint is the price — it’s pretty expensive. Paid almost $ 40 for an appetizer and a 16″ pizza. Definitely good, but you pay for it.

Have you ever experienced a time in your life when you come across a masterful piece of work. A no hitter, hole in one, perfect game, etc… Well that is kind of how my lunch was. I just happened by this place while running errands and decided to grab a slice. Turns out this New York style pizzaria takes its craft very seriously. The owner is proud of his place and rightfully so, his food is amazing. The service sets the tone. Fast, friendly, efficient and helpful. Realizing I was a new customer, she directed me to the lunch specials and had some recommendations. I just wanted a slice of pepperoni, drink and salad. What I got was way more than I bargained for. Fresh salad with delicious creamy dressing, a full glass the whole time I was there with a to go cup, and a monstrous slice of cheesy goodness on a thin crust with the prefect amount of meat, cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning here and I emphatically recommend it to anyone in Midtown Houston.

Stopped by here after hanging out at Coaches Pub. A friend of mine raved about how great the pizza was, so I decided to check it out. After pursuing the menu, it became apparent pizza by the slice was extremely overpriced. $ 9 for a single slice of pizza is outrageous. We opted for the small pie because it was a better deal, but i honestly didn’t want that much. As for the pizza itself, it was thin and dry. The toppings didn’t seem fresh and overall it lacked flavor. I’ll stick to Frank’s from now on.
