I absolutely think this management company by far the worst. The fees are out of control and they are constantly raising them. If you have any situation to occur, they do not try to resolve it, their only action is to hit you with a fee. As a homeowner, It’s pretty awful.

I’ve lived at one of their properties in the Galleria area for 2 years and I have to say, this is the most unprofessional property management company I’ve ever dealt with! They have a major parking issue at our community and offer no alternatives for the people that live there. When you try to contact them for resolution, you’re met with condescending attitudes and remarks. I don’t see how this company has managed to stay in business with their horrible and under-qualified employees.

This company can’t manage our HOA and properties. Staff are very uneducated about financial statements and accounting. In fact, there isn’t a full financial reporting package to homeowners. They think a basic balance sheet is adequate. It shows no cash in and out activities. Bank accounts are drained with no proper explanation. Annual meeting letter was sent out with no compliance to our by-laws. When pointed out the facts, everything was denied. Do not trust these people, including their own legal staff. They used their legal to overwrite our by-laws. Ridiculous company. Other reviewers said they are cooks. I agree!

If you don’t mind stewards cleaning INTERIOR hallways with a GASPOWEREDLEAFBLOWER and leaving dirt on all horizontal surfaces, then go with GENESIS! Oh yeah, the Fire Dept says it’s illegal to run gas powered equipment indoors of occupied buildings. OOPS!

I have lived at one of their properties that they manage for the past 4yrs and they have consistently disappointed and aggraviated every situation. We no longer have a groundsman, our fees are going up. Last year, they implemented a «Special Assessment» fee of $ 2076, which we had to pay. This month, my electric bill went up $ 250! Something is not right about these people and I don’t know what I can do as a resident. Poor customer service, everyone is always rude when you speak to them on the phone. Something else is going on, these people are crooks. They are horrible. How are they still in business???

I have dealt with several property management companies and Genesis has been the ONLY one that left me with a positive impression. Before dealing with Genesis, I never thought it was possible to receive good customer service from a property management company. The only downside was that our HOA switched to Genesis a month before we moved out! I am especially appreciative of the servie provided by Barbara, Natalie, Son and Valerie. They were a tremendous help with closing on the property. They even provided solutions when the problem was caused by the previous property management company. If your HOA uses Genesis, consider yourself lucky. If not, I would highly recommend suggesting your board to look into switching. Unless of course, getting good customer service isn’t your thing.
