I would never recommend this place. This is not authentic Chinese food it was not fresh and I threw away more than I ate. I should have looked at the reviews before going here, but I was headed to work and had a taste for Chinese. I have had better at Panda Express… Lol!

If I Could give more stars I would ! If you live or work near I would definitely suggest just giving it a try .YOUWILLBEHOOKED ! I always get the Singapore chicken, but honestly I’ve tried about 5 other things on the menu;all delish ! I have seen a few reviews that say the food is Americanized… humm no ! It is however different .but this food taste closer to actual Chinese food than the, monosodium glutamate filled junk that we usually like. I’ve only Tasted food from one other Chinese resturant that was better than this one .and it was all the way in Germany ! This food is AWSOME, and the service is always pleasurable.

If you’re looking for cheap, somewhat-Americanized Chinese food, this is a good spot in Westchase. It’s nowhere near as authentic as you’d find just up the Beltway in China Town, but it’s fast and cheap. Their egg rolls are greasy and their soups are served by the pint, so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. I’ve tried a variety of items ranging from sweet to salty, though I usually aim for the Chef’s Fried Rice, which has chicken, beef, pork, egg, and shrimp in it. If you need to clear your sinuses, ask for the chili sauce with whatever you order and mix a nickel-sized portion on whatever you’re eating. It’s surprisingly spicy and will clear you right up!

Leaving the gym, I stopped into this place. I ordered the wonton soup and shrimp fried rolls. I asked if the shrimp was farm raised(because my stomach don’t like those) the guy said«nah I don’t think so they come in frozen» … Ok bro yea that maybe farm raised(I was thinking) The soup was to salty/sour. The shrimp rolls where ok. Only reason I stayed was because my show shark tank was on the tv! Overall this place is ok.

Picked up take out, with the usual mini chicken eggrolls, Chefs special fried rice and General Joe’s chicken with steamed rice and 2 regular egg rolls. It is pretty cheap, all of this for $ 20. Yes, it’s greasy I blot the egg rolls and try to stick with small portions. It will be another meal for the kids. It for me has been consistent but I don’t veer off the regular stuff often. I have had the salad and it’s pretty big, lots of lettuce with cabbage and a peanut dressing.

The broccoli beef was horrible. I got the order to go and ended up taking it back after one bite. The beef was mushy, raw and unedible. The broccoli was raw. I will stick to the chicken, rice, soup and egg rolls. No more beef entrees for me.

Guys for real this is the best Chinese food in the houston area. I tried the G4 sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious! Very fresh. And fried rice was good too! The place is not really good looking but for a pick up order is completely worth it! I recommend it ;)

I was very disappointed in this place. I ordered the general joe’s chicken for 5 people with shrimp fried rice for 5 people. The general joe’s color was unusually red like hot wings. The shrimp fried rice was very dry and bland. I’m use to shrimp fried rice with sprouts in it, none. It was very distasteful! The general joe’s did not taste like the usual at all. I’ve had plenty of general how’s from different places and this is the first time it tasted like crap. I spent about $ 80 and wanted to take it back! Usually my family would want seconds but didn’t finish their first serving. Won’t be going back! If I could give this place no stars I would! I don’t see what all the hype is about.

I will never eat at this establishment again. I ordered small shrimp fried rice little spicy for pick up. I drove all the way here to pick up my food. Drove all the way home to see that my food was overdose with pepper. This was for a 7 yr old. I called and spoke to the manager David who was rude. He told me to drive all the way back to the place to pick it up. I asked if he could just deliver it to me since I was inconvenience. David agreed and then begin to tell me over and over how he’s doing me a favor. Your doing me a favor ??? You inconvenience me and I spent money at your establishment but your doing me a favor. He then tells me that he will not deliver my food because I asked him how he’s doing me a favor. Fucking idiot!!! Just give me my money back! Customer service sucks!!! I will definitely be reporting to the BBB… There is Better food in the area with better service … You just lost a customer and I will make sure everybody I know does not eat at your restaurant !!!

Sad day. After 15+ years of LOVING their dumplings, they changed them! I used to drive across town for their super plump juicy stuffed-to-the edges pork dumplings. An order of 10 would fill up the entire round plate… and my belly. The P5. Now they are soft and gooey. Anemic. Not even ½ the meat. Truthfully about 1⁄3 of the meat they used to use. I could buy these in my local Kroger at the little fake sushi bar and get the same quality. The filling lacks flavor. I basically had to swim them in the soy sauce and ginger for some Umami. I told the lady and she admitted they were changed a little and they had just as much meat. lol. NOT. I’ll try them one more time when I’m in the area… but if this is what I’m going to get… meh. FYI– I’m still hungry. Going to get something else to eat.

The only meal I order from here is their BBQ pork fried rice. Other food, I wouldn’t really recommend.

Pretty good food for very reasonable prices. Attentive service and food is usually out quickly and warm. Good selection and portions are pretty filling. Great option for when you’re in the mood for ‘Chinese’. Casual setting as well

I got that general joe chicken, beef fried rice and the chef fried rice. It was delicious, the rice need a little soy sauce, but the chicken made up for it! The shrimp in the chef fried rice was cooked perfectly! Would def go again!

Food was okay! The rice didn’t have much flavor but I wanted Chinese food so it got the job done. Overall, I’m not rushing back!

Quick. Good. Cheap. Friendly. Seriously, what else do you need to know about Chinese takeout? I don’t get too fancy when I eat here. General Joe’s Chicken with fried rice is my usual. It’s the perfect $ 7 meal. Big chicken chunks in some dark thick spicy sauce. No veggies — just chicken and sauce and fried rice. Chomp! Add some of the veggie mini egg rolls for $ 3. Those little things are cheap and delicious. I never sit in and eat, it’s always a stop on the way home from running errands and pick up to take home. I have never waited longer than about 15 minutes no matter how much the wife and I order. Honestly, you could make a meal out of their fried rice. I usually order the large Chef’s Fried Rice and it makes a couple meals for me. The hot and sour soup is basic but has a nice kick. They now deliver to my area and I am on it like white on steamed rice!

This has been a go to place for us. It’s decent food at a good price point. They are open late which is nice for when I have to work late. The food isn’t spectacular but it’s tasty. I like how everything is made to order. Food is piping hot which is great when you’re taking it to go. My husband goes loco for Kung Pao Chicken and he likes it here. I’ve tried a couple of different things and they have all been good. I haven’t found my absolute favorite yet. I’ve had the Chicken with Garlic Sauce. I like sauce especially when you’re eating it with rice. Gotta have enough sauce to put with your rice. It has lots of chicken and veggies. Today I ordered the Lemon Chicken. I usually don’t order stuff like this but I was in the mood for it. It was a good choice. Crispy chicken with the lemony sweetness of the sauce a top fried rice. I also ordered wonton soup. That was meh. Broth didn’t have much flavor but the wontons were good. The meat filling had a good flavor. I won’t be in a hurry to order that again. Hubby had hot and sour soup. He liked it. I didn’t get a chance to taste it. This a decent go to place. I’m still in search of my favorite dish. Until we eat again…

I’ve been to this place more times than I’d like to. It’s Americanized Chinese food like it’s been mentioned but I have a craving for their chef fried rice and their mini chicken egg rolls. The concept is simple. You walk up to the cashier, you order what you want and then you wait until your number is called so you can go get your food. The cashiers are always friendly here and they rarely(if ever) screw up your orders. If you’re ordering to go, I recommend calling it in even though you don’t usually have to wait a long time for your food to be ready. As I mentioned above, I usually always get the chef fried rice which has chicken, shrimp, and Chinese BBQ pork in it, along with some mini chicken egg rolls. My sister who lives up in Plano LOVES the Singapore chicken(extra spicy) always asks me to swing by here to pick one up for her every time I’m making a trip up there. The place is clean and quiet. Plenty of seats in the dining area because it’s rarely full. It seems like most people come here and order to go. If you’re looking for some authentic Chinese food, then this is definitely NOT the place for you to go. But if you’re just craving for some quick fried rice or if you want to try the Singapore chicken, then this is a convenient option for you unless you live right next to Chinatown which is located not too far from here,.
