Love me some Fuzzy’s!!! I always get the shredded beef tacos. I’m originally from California and this only place in Texas to get them! Only down fall is that there are not enough locations in the Houston area!

I went to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop today even after my husband said he wasn’t a fan. I went up and got food to go for lunch on a Sunday. The place was pretty empty, and it’ was much bigger than I thought from the looks of it outside. The girl at the counter was very nice and helpful. I ordered a soft grilled fish taco, and the girl recommended the shredded chicken taco. The tacos come with feta, tomato, lettuce, cilantro, and a house garlic sauce. I also got chips and guac. The chips were over seasoned with this bizarre almost cajun tasting salt. I did not like them at all. The guacamole was good, a little lemony, but I didn’t eat but one or two chips with guac because the chips were just too much. The chicken taco was alright, good flavor but a little dry. I couldn’t taste the garlic sauce that comes on it, either. THEFISHTACOWASAMAZING! I should have ordered 2 of these instead! It was so tender and flavorful. I absolutely loved it.(I thought about going back to get another, but I’m lazy. I should have gone back for dinner!) I was thinking of trying the breakfast tacos(they serve them all day) but I got sidetracked when the girl recommended the chicken ones. Bummer. I will definitely go back. It is convenient, the service was nice(plus, my tacos were ready in less than 5 minutes), and the fish tacos made my day. Yum City.

Well, I’ve changed my views on Fuzzy’s. The fish tacos are definitely winners here; I’ve had them a couple times now. And I don’t know what kind of chicken ones I had before(they have shredded and grilled), but I paid a buck more for the fajita chicken(recommended by the girl at the counter, didn’t see it on the menu) and thoroughly enjoyed it, it wasn’t dry at all. Both the chicken and fish tacos were full of flavor. I love the saltiness from the feta cheese and the creaminess from the garlic sauce. In terms of sides, I really like their fried potatoes and black beans. I can appreciate a place that has multiple options when it comes to sides… borracho beans, black beans, refried beans. Their breakfast tacos are pretty filling too. Also, they have a ton of TV’s in here so it’s a great spot to catch a game and a beer. This is definitely one of the much better options in the area to get a meal. It’s not your typical Tex-Mex or Mex-Mex by any means, but it’s tasty!

I am shocked and surprised at the reviews I see on here about Fuzzy’s. I’m from Fort Worth were the original Fuzzy’s is located and there is always a line out the door to eat up this scrumptious goodness and enjoy the amazing atmosphere. I mean they have to be doing something right to have opened about three or four more locations in the North Texas area. I’m not sure what you guys actually ordered but, you really can’t go wrong with the fish tacos and chips and queso, at the least! It’s amazing food for those epic hangovers and a great place for watching the games while sipping their margaritas. Also, who wants to wait for happy hour to come around? I sure dont when I get out of work early. Well, YOUDON’T HAVETOHERE, they serve icy frozen schooners of beer ALLDAYLONG for only $ 2.25! The staff here is way nice, very friendly and totally accommodating! I could totally eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and guess what… YOUCANTOO because they serve their yummy food ALLDAYLONG! I suggest you get in here and try this deliciousness, I mean come on… I see cops in here, I don’t care if they get a discount, they still keep coming back because ITISSOOOOGOOD! Come in and get in on some of this because you would for sure be missing out on this goodness!

Worse tacos ever. My husband has been wanting to try this place because we LOVE tacos, but we were sadly disappointed. He ordered the chicken, steak, tempura shrimp, and fish tacos. The steak was chewy. The others weren’t great either. The tortillas seemed to be store bought, they use iceberg lettuce which I HATE, and the salsa was runny. Overall, if you want some tacos go down the street to the taco truck or Mario’s.

My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times and enjoy it. Good restaurants in Jersey Village are difficult to find and you get burned out quickly. The three times we’ve been in here it has been quiet with only a few other guests. The food always comes out hot and made to order. Hubby loved his salad but would have liked salsa on it. Their table hot sauce is nice and smoky — I dump it all over the fajita nachos, which are my absolute favorte. The nachos are served with feta cheese and queso and the chicken is divine for a little fast food joint. I didn’t care for their soups; a bit bland and unoriginal. One tasted like Campbell’s minestrone and the other was just uninteresting. Their breakfast looks yummy and we will definitely try that. It’s a clean place, the staff is very friendly and it has a fun ambience. We will definitely be back.

I went to this colorful and very customer service oriented place in Jersey Village. I know that I’m always in the mood for a good taco place and in Jersey Village, that’s hard to find, so when I saw this joint, I figured, why not?! I was greeted warmly and the establishment is clean and very fun. I ordered the chicken fajita salad and was disappointed. Mainly due to my diet but let’s just say, the salad is an iceberg lettuce fest. Not very creative or tasty. Made me hate my diet in fact. The chicken fajita was OK but the dressing(avocado ranch) was not very tasty in my opinion. Next time, opt for a lighter version and definitely ask for another salad mix if they offer one. I looked around at the tacos and other fare other patrons were enjoying and thought I really need to give this place another shot. And I will! My thought is to try some of the tacos or Macho Plates they have to offer. I was also offered a free chips and queso. Too bad the chips were strangely seasoned with a spice(paprika?) and the queso was not a color of any cheese I’ve ever witnessed. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re in the mood for some chips and cheese, you’ll eat it… It just won’t be the best you’ve ever had. Needless to say, I left most of it as well as the salad. The iced tea was too strong in my opinion as well. I like the big cup you get, but when it’s full of bitter tea — who wants it? Not to shabby(except for said Salad) in my opinion if I would have ordered another item(s). I’m willing to give it another try. What this place lacks in food fare, they make up for it in service.
