One month before contract was up I moved out of state and sold my house. Still got an $ 180 fee for early termination. They are a trash company. A stupid front you have to go through with the idiotic Republican experiment that is the electricity exchange in Texas, that actually makes your electricity cost more expensive than it should be. I will never use them again if I move back to Texas.

One star, and I’m being generous. Absolutely the most disgusting business practices I’ve ever experienced in my life. This company doesn’t adhere to good business practices and will lie to customers. Customer Service Reps are clueless to simple account information like balances! Hidden fees, with no logical explanation as to why they were applied. I always pay my bills on time, so I’m not some slacker just on a rant. I refuse to give my money to such a shady company. You lost potentially hundreds of dollars with me as a potential loyal customer over 10 dollars! Oh, I paid the 10 dollars, ANDDITCHEDTHISSLEAZYCOMPANY! Maybe you’re experience will be different, but after talking to several Houstonians that were former customers of this Bootleg Operation, I highly doubt it! Side note: John the supervisor here, is the most unprofessional supervisor I’ve ever talked to. Apparently customers service reps here get no repercussions for rude, and disrespectful services. If you like unexpected fees being added to your account, with no logical explanation, and you like being talked to in a condescending manner, this might be the service provider for you! P. S. Anyone who rates this company high, obviously works there. And to the PR person who’ll probably downplay this review, do your little damage control, P.R. spin on this review, as you’re paid to do, but the facts remain the same. Due to your company’s incompetence, you’ve lost a loyal customer. My money will go to your competitors, happily! #fact.

I am on the«pay as you go» program with Frontier Utilities. Since my debit card had been compromised recently, I am unable to pay using my bank account which is very inconvenient. Frontier Utilities need to offer EFT payment methods besides the usual cash and card card options; hence, making it easier to pay for their«valued» customers. Update: Thank you for the tip! I appreciate it!

This company has been so easy to work with. I never had an issue with anyone coming to my house or bothering me, my service has not been interrupted between previous owners moving out and us moving in… I would recommend them

Run, don’t walk, away from this business!(Note: I’ve edited out the middle of this review: we thought it was Frontier Utilities that sent people to our door, posing as workers for our utility company, but to be fair, I’m not 100% certain of that.) What I do know is they bothered us with phone calls, calling once a day, for two weeks straight, waking up our infant son while he was napping, pretending they wanted to talk to me(they didn’t dare to call me at work). I asked two of their workers to put us on a do not call list; the first one put me on hold for 15 minutes, the second one promised she would … and then we got yet ANOTHERHARASSING phone call the next day. This is a very annoying business. Note that the lady who responded below from Frontier DOESNOTDENY that they do this … only that they don’t send harassing people to your doorstep. I would stay away from them; they’re aggressive with poor ethics.
