As a business traveler dining alone Fleming’s has made this single meal truly enjoyable. Staff has been excellent. Great food. Same high quality as I’m used to back home.

The Lobster, the Snow & Alaskan King crab coupled with Stone crab and Shrimp the size of prawns Served on bed of ice… so fresh so good The service was the best I’ve ever had. The manager was here from their Dallas location… my only hope is that he stays here in Houston. He & his wait staff were FANTASTIC Folks this restaurant is a must

I really enjoyed my visit to Fleming’s Steakhouse. Located in the busy City Center area, I assumed parking would be an issue, but there was plenty of space and they have valet parking if necessary. We were seated pretty quickly and given time to go over their extensive wine list and menu. Their Flemmings Salad was quite unique and tasty. I went with the Dry-Aged Prime Rib. It was perfectly prepared and tasted wonderful. I was too full to try the dessert but I hear it’s quite an experience. I was very satisfied with the ambiance, the level of service and the food options.

Great Sunday Prime Rib Special(especially when they have it for$ 29.95!) The portion was very large and perfectly medium rare, as requested. The Sunday Prime Rib Special(normally $ 40.95) comes with a Salad, a side and a dessert. My mom and I chose the Caesar salad that was good but was overly dressed this time. My husband subbed the French Onion soup instead of a salad and it was delish. My side was creamed spinach and his side was gigantic onion rings, both very good. My mom got the Flemings potatoes, also very yummy. If you like chocolate, you MUST get their chocolate molten cake. It is one of the best I’ve had about town. I was way too full from the huge prime rib, so I got a carrot cake to-go. Our server Greg was excellent, if you can request him. He is attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly.

It was my brother’s birthday but first we wanted to go Taste of Texas but the wait was so long(45min and no reservation)! Then we Unilocaled and found Fleming. It’s really worth to come and having a great dinner here! We ordered: 1/Jumbo Lump Crab Cake(4⁄5): it’s good but i expect more buttery 2/Gulf shrimps and sea scallops(2⁄5): honestly, it’s too sour for me, but the shrimps and scallops are really fresh 3/Bone-in prime ribeye(5⁄5): this is extremely the best! Juicy, tender, medium-rare is perfect! Must-try 4/sauteed mushroom(3.5÷5): it’s just ok 5/turtle pie(4⁄5): it’s delicious but if an ice cream is kept colder it would be better Especially, if you visit here because of any special occasions such as birthday, anniversary etc, they would give you a little box of chocolate as a gift! How’s nice!

The food and service at this particular location is stellar! Far better than the other Houston area locations. We had a small issue one of the times dining there and the manager called us the next day after we filled out a survey and offered us $ 25 to come back and try them again. Outstanding customer service whether it’s a casual happy hour or celebratory meal.

Took my wife here for her birthday which is on Valentine’s Day, to celebrate her 35th birthday. There are so many words I could use to describe this place, let me say this place is amazing. We had the Valentines Day special menu which was the 8 oz filet and 8 oz lobster, which also included 2 choices of salads, and a awesome shrimp appetizer wrapped ins bacon. We paired it with a bottle of Gregg Norman wine that was a Merlot/Cab blend from the Limestone Coast of Australia 2012⁄13 yr. It was amazing! Service there was incredible from the complimentary valet to the servers inside. Our servers included Steven and Luis along with we were visited and assisted by the Regional Service Manager Leah. They made my wife feel very special like the queen that she is to me. The steak was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy and not dried out even though we requested it well done. People who say well done steaks are without flavor and dry, have not had them done at a 5 star place like this. This place goes above and beyond and is very attentive to their guest. The pictures on, Unilocal do not do this place justice as one must go and experience it for themselves. Yes the food is not cheap but as many other reviewers have stated you get what you pay for and will not be disappointed. For our meal which included 3 Crown and cokes, a bottle of wine, 2 decaf cappuccino’s, and a chocolate lava cake for dessert came to roughly $ 268 with tax. The lava cake takes around 45 min to be made specially for you so if you are wanting dessert, go ahead and put it in when your waiter or waitress ask you about it. If you are looking for a place to make that special someone in your life feel like a queen, then I suggest this place above any other. Thank you Flemings for making my wife’s special day one that will last forever in our minds!

I was not impressed. The service was great but the food was lacking in flavor. I would definite choose Eddie Vs or Ruth’s Chris over this place. We had the crab cakes, bone in ribeye, Fleming’s potatoes, green beans, and molten lava cake. The crab cakes and green beans are the only things that had flavor.

This is a nice steakhouse! The ambiance is classy and romantic. They offer free valet which is a plus. We had our choice of a table or a booth, we chose a booth. Miguel was our server, he was lovely. We had our drinks and bread served right away. My husband had the Scottish salmon and loved it. I had the steak and lobster, it was decent. I have had better steak in the past. It was cooked right but chewy at times. Our dessert was a pumpkin cheesecake crème brûlée which was good. Overall a good experience. The managers checked on us which was nice.

This was my first experience at Fleming’s and I was really impressed. I’ve eaten at a number of other high end steak restaurants before, but I enjoyed literally every dish I ordered to the fullest. My 6 ounce filet was great but I found myself chowing down on all the house potatoes. I couldn’t eat enough of these! Also, my nephew got some apples with caramel sauce with his kid’s menu order before my meal arrived, but he couldn’t eat apples so it was up for grabs. I swear, this was the best caramel sauce I’ve ever had in my entire life. In fact, I ended up licking the dish clean before my steak arrived, it was that good. I actually had to restrain myself from polishing the dish like a cat. Lastly, I ordered the crème brûlée and again, I was blown away with dessert. Crème brûlée is one of my favorite desserts but the dish here is utter perfection. I loved how I could actually see the tiny black specs in the cream which shows that real vanilla bean was used. Honestly, this was the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had in my life. Until this, it was at Balthazar in NYC. Yes, I will definitely go back to Fleming’s.

This is a review that I’ve been waiting to write. It’s one thing to visit a restaurant once or twice and have an amazing experience. It’s another to visit a location for whiskey dinners, happy hours, special occasions and date night over 10 times and consistently have top-notch service and food. As someone who loves wine, I first came to know of Flemings by researching the Flemings 100 put together by their National Wine Director, Maeve Pesquera. Find the current list here: After seeing their extensive by the glass list, we decided to venture into Flemings for one of our first visits. TIP: Join the«Friends of Flemings» mailing list to learn about local and National Wine dinners. Hospitality and Culinary Guides: Pretty fancy title, eh? If you’re in the main dining room see of Lt. Dan is working. He’s been with the Flemings brand for over 15 years, and also has his Level 1 Sommelier Certification. We first met Dan on one of our first visits in, and have continued to ask for him since. Very friendly, knowledgable about food/wine, and does all he can to create a dining experience for you. If you’re joining Flemings for their 5−6−7 or 7−8−9 Happy Hours, see if Liz is around! One of the things I really like about Liz is her amazing personality and her genuine desire to get to know her regulars. I was completely shocked when on 3rd visit in she not only remembered our names, but our cocktails! Happy Hour: Ya gotta try the burratta or the pork belly. One of the best values during happy hours is the Flemings Prime Burger. I like mine medium w/extra bacon! Dinner: The steaks are always perfectly cooked and this is the one steakhouse I’ve never had to send a steak back to the kitchen… ever! I tend to order my steaks medium rare w/a little extra char! Wine: The wine at this location is amazing! While they have the signature Flemings 100 list, be sure to ask about their local selections! Want to know more about wine or have a special request? Ask for Jose or Leah. Overall: Probably in my Top 5 restaurants in Houston right now. Everyone we’ve come in contact with understands the lost and dying art of hospitality and strives to create a memorable dining experience for all their guests.

Awesome place to go for a fancy night out. We had dinner here with my parents and in laws. Service was fantastic. The servers and managers were constantly checking in on us. And I never needed more water-it just appeared. Steaks-yes. This a true steak house that will give you what you ask for, and and you don’t have to adjust for whatever is going on in the kitchen(for example, when I’m at at place that I don’t trust, I’ll order my steaks rare, and expect it to come out medium rare-medium). Everyone else had steak, and they were all amazing. The mushrooms and creamed spinach were good too. Because I was feeling peckish(I blame being pregnant) I ordered the braised short ribs and a a loaded baked potato. Unfortunately, the short ribs were on the dry side. I was really disappointed about that. The baked potato was huge for one person, but a little heavy on the sour cream. Service was fantastic. The waiters were attentive and never let our glasses go empty. The manager even checked on us to make sure we were doing well. They even made a concerted effort to see if we were there for a special occasion or not. In the end, the service really made the dinner fantastic.

Great place Host stand was very friendly. Greeted me and my daughter with a smile(she is 8 so I know it is not their normal crowd). The experience just kept getting better The stand is managed very well The server was great!!! Knowledgeable, friendly and you could tell that he enjoyed his job(good management there) The food was awesome. I had the bone in ribeye. The flavor was out of this world. They made my daughter her own special plate. Not very often I get a date night with my daughter and to be treated so well and have food that fantastic made it a truly memorable experience. And as we were finishing up, the general manager asked us how everything was!!’ A very well run restaurant and we will be back on every date night. Thank you!!!

I came here yesterday with a reserved group of 12 for a friend’s birthday, also for Houston Restaurant Week. For $ 45, we got a 3 course meal which is much cheaper than what it would normally be. I got the petite tenderloin carpaccio as my appetizer. I liked this dish, but I wish there was more meat because the slices of the meat were extremely thin. For the entrée, I got the kona rubbed filet mignon because I heard it was the best taste-wise. It was either that or the double thick pork chop. I ordered a medium-rare and the server told me that it would be more on the rare side, which was fine with me. The filet mignon was very well seasoned, but is very small(only 6 oz.). Finally, I got the crème brûlée for dessert. My friend ordered carrot cake and offered me to try some. I, along with others who ordered the carrot cake, thought it was too sweet. The service here is really good, and the servers gave us a heads up on what some of the items on the menu consisted of before we made any assumptions or asked. We ordered all 3 courses at once and got the next dish whenever we were ready for it. This restaurant has a classy ambience with dimmed lights. So, dress formal or semi-formal when coming here because it’s not the typical steakhouse you see people dressed up in t-shirts and shorts.

Great customer service! I have eaten at other Fleming’s locations so this was my first experience here. It was superb! I was invited here to celebrate the birthday of one of our family members. We ate from the Restaurant’s week menu and had a choice of several items. Our waiters were very attentive and the manager came over and checked in on us. We shared a few bottles of wine and the waiters did not let our glasses get empty. I had the iceberg wedge salad, it was very so good. Next the main course was Filet minion with garlic mashed potatoes. It was cooked to perfection. Finally dessert was Cheesecake with blueberry sauce. Also very delicious. I expected nothing less as this is a high end restaurant.

Hostesses at 5:15pm today looked at me like I interupted a Nato meeting when I walked in and said hi. They didn’t speak a word. ??? Happy hour is great!!! I love Flemings food. I am a regular but the Prime Rib Melt tasted like the shredded 18 wheeler tires in your lanes you try to avoid on the freeways as you drive. The bread was burnt, the onion rings were burnt, the meat was burnt, and the cheese looked liked it was melted on their a day ago. the meal came with lettuce but I was dumbfounded on how to incorporate it into a sandwich that has stale cheese covering it as a forcefield! Do not order the Prime Rib Melt! You have been warned!!! 7 days… says the creepy chick in the Ring before something horrible happens, like indigestion!

Came here with some friends for happy hour. They have a fantastic happy hour menu. One that ends at 7pm and one that ends at 10pm. When we got there they were taking us to a table inside, but they were happy to set up a table for us outside so we could enjoy the weather. We all got a couple of their specialty cocktails which were delicious! We also ordered a couple appetizers off the happy hour menu to share, they were all fantastic. Our server and everyone else was very accommodating and great service! I will definitely be back!

Somehow, I had never been to a Fleming’s! Fortunately this visit remedied that quite deliciously. Too bad I had a late lunch so I could only get a couple things. I opted for apps so I could get 2. Both were very flavorful and cooked well. ROASTEDMUSHROOMRAVIOLI: portobello and shiitake mushrooms, porcini butter sauce PAN-CRISPEDPORKBELLY: creamy goat cheese grits, sweet onion chutney The pre-dinner bread was also very tasty with those fancy butters. Got to try a couple of random other bites from friends, all of which were good. I definitely want to try more things on the menu. The service was friendly and overall quite good. He did forget a couple things along the way, but we were in an easy going group of 14 or so, so no biggie. The noise level can be pretty crazy.
