I’m a 23 year old that didn’t know how to swim… until I met Alyssa. I had a fear of drowning but Alyssa worked with me patiently and was always encouraging. Her methods of teaching made learning fun. Everything she teaches is a step-​by-​step process that is at a pace to each individual’s level of «comfortness» in the water. I still need a lot of practice but I’ve gone a long way with swimming thanks to Alyssa!

Alyssa is the consummate professional, and the very best in Houston at giving swim lessons. I have always considered myself a good swimmer, but not until I started taking lessons to improve my skills, that it dawned on me that I have been swimming incorrectly, and had a lot to learn. Alyssa works very well with all ages, and levels of swimming skill set. She completely identifies the skill level, observes the issues, and brilliantly articulates the solutions and provides training to improve one’s level. In a very short period of time, I have re-​learned the proper way to swim, not only for leisure but for survival purposes as well. Feet2Fins is Highly recommended for swim lessons.

Our 7 month old son had a great first lesson with Alyssa. She focuses on teaching parents as well as children, so that we can continue to practice swimming in between lessons during bath time. We are looking forward to continuing to work with her.

Feet2Fins is THE best place to take swim lessons in Houston. Alyssa is professional, experienced and totally committed to making sure you or your children learn how to swim. What I love about F2 °F the most is that learning to swim can be a very scary and daunting task, but it’s an important one and Alyssa makes the entire experience great!

Alyssa is an excellent swim instructor. Our 9 month old son has enjoyed three months of weekly lessons. He has been made to feel very comfortable and capable in the water. Alyssa has a wonderfully gentle and engaging manner. He clearly feels like he’s learning from a friend. We’re so impressed by his weekly advancements. This is such a worthwhile investment!
