The food is not good as I expected but still pretty Mexican. Fajita combo is really good and 1 person meal is huge enough for you to eat and take(comes with rice and you can build your own tacos) I should order a meal instead of two tacos. The sauce for chips is okay.

I gave it 3 stars because I’ve only tried there Tortilla chicken soup. The first time it was fresh and delicious. 2nd time I went back the soup tasted sour and rice was hard. Other than that I haven’t tried anything else. Customer service was great the first time I went.

Me and the bf found ourselves here one Friday night after venturing out for a bite to eat. It was a random stop since we ended up in the area and I had heard this place was pretty decent so we gave it a try for ourselves. It’s a very laid back place, and the set up is a bit weird but if you have ever been to any of the Willie’s Grill & Icehouse restaurants, its the same since Fajita Willie’s is a chain of Willie’s Grill. When you walk in you basically go up to the front where they have the menu displayed and an employee takes your order and gives you cups for your drink and you have to pour your own drink from the machine or you can even grab a beer in front. After they take your order, you take your ticket and drinks and you can sit wherever you may like and a waiter comes and picks up your ticket for your order. Since this was our first time here, we just played it safe and ordered the chicken tenders plate with fries and we ordered a side of onion rings to share. We were both surprised about the chicken tenders! They were big strips and they were very juicy and delicious. Other places want to charge you $ 11 for 3 small pieces of tenders but here they give you a good portion of tenders and fries for $ 8 bucks. They give you complimentary chips and salsa which were pretty good and our food came out pretty fast. The service from our waitress was good as well, she gave us drink refills and asked if we needed anything else every time she visited our table. Looking around the place, it’s very casual, we noticed a lot of families were there and there were small groups of friends just having a few beers and a bite to eat. Overall, this was a pretty decent place and we will most definitely find ourselves back here whenever we’re in the area again. :)

OMG. Just awful. If it was not for my airline reward points, I’d rather go to taco trucks. Like every reviewer stated, the ordering process is awkward. I asked about the speed of readiness, waiter asked why. It was Father’s Day, I’m not fond of waiting during my lunch. Luckily, my chicken taco platter came quickly. Price was high($ 8.95) compared to the quantity and quality I received. The Spanish rice was cold, frijoles beans was lukewarm and soft tortillas was partially crispy. When I pick up the taco, the juice poured right onto my plate. Yeah, again, as everyone said, they lack flavors. I had to use salsa to flavor it. OMG, the only acceptable item was chips and salsa. I love Luzianne southern tea brand, but this isn’t what I made at home. However, they purposely overfilled ice in the drink cups. Making that already diluted iced tea with little flavor. I took advantage of all-you-can-drink offer for $ 2.29, well that’s the soft drink price. The atmosphere was really Tex-Mex from the 80’s — displays of convenient store items, peeling off wall paints, sticky tables, dirty floors and wide variety of menu items. The place is themed in red(watch my in-app video) — very celebratory. The place filled up quickly. People are here for their occasions. When it was time for me to leave, my passage to the exit was blocked. Ok, one more tip: sit by the door as you’ll be the first to exit in case of emergency.

This place is very tex-mex. Funny thing is, they’re called«Fajita Willies» and I personally don’t care for their fajitas! The 2 things I actually like here are their burgers with a side of their onion rings. The other thing I like is their Chicken Poblano dish. It’s like chicken in a poblano cream sauce. The only other thing that they have that’s pretty good is their queso. The service here kinda sucks. You have to go to the counter to order but then they give you a paper w/what you are wanting. You fill your own cup for your drink at the counter then you head to your seat. At your seat a waitress comes and takes your paper of what you want to eat to the kitchen and then brings your food to you. It never fails that they take FOREVER! You’re supposed to wait for them to take your payment at your seat but because they hardly ever come around, I usually wind up either having to flag someone down or walk up to the counter to pay. This is not really a place I ever say«I’m in the mood for». It’s more of a place like, «I’m in the area, I guess this will do».

Cheap very good Mexican food! I love coming here it’s great two tacos two enchiladas rice and beans for $ 9 can you beat that? These things aren’t little tiny things either they are huge! The meat is always season very well which I have found can be a problem. The guacamole is incredible it’s amazing I have never had a better guacamole anywhere! The staff is friendly and takes good care of you. We drive half way across town to eat here a lot. I wish you would put one in near spring or the woodlands.

The place is a dump. When you walk in the ambiance just feels kinda disgusting. The slight slipperyness of the floor from God knows what grease hasn’t been cleaned. The corners of the walls, the surface of the table, even the check-out counter makes you not want to touch anything. Of course, Fajita Willies is about the Fajita’s. When you order it, everything is nice and hot, flavor and quality of the beef were good, less greasy relative to any taco stand. You get chips and house salsa, its pretty much the full deal. The best part about FW is when you order out, you get it all too. Full deal, chips and sides, sauces and what not, they pack it all for you. Great way to get good food and eat somewhere cleaner. I thought the price was steep for the ambiance, but I can justify it with a to-go order. They dont miss anything.

Possibly the worst margaritas I’ve ever had. I tried this place with my fiancé and we seriously considered leaving before the food arrived. We sent the margaritas back and opted for beer, against the waitress’s response of «are you serious?» Food was ok, but not good enough to go back, because let’s face it, who wants Mexican food without margaritas? I also thought it was a little expensive to be a hole in the wall tex-mex joint, especially since nothing knocked my socks off. Definitely won’t be back.

Service was excellent and the fajitas were really awesome. They came out super fast too! They were not cheap on the fixins either, plenty of food. I like the place’s atmosphere too, pretty laid back with the patio open.

Food was good the only big thing was that they had NO water! No bottle water and no tap water. I had to go to subway to buy it.

We came for Cinco de Mayo and had a great time. The chips & salsa were fresh & the warm salsa is a nice plus. We ordered a Big Willie to drink which was quite good and packed a nice punch. After two of them I was done for the day, LOL. I have eaten here in the past and the food is always solid, not phenomenal but pretty good & affordable.

I just got back from eating here and it’s slowing going downhill. It’s a good place, but things have been have better. The chicken fajita portions have been going down as well as the grilled onions. They’ve spiced things up by adding a grilled jalapeño and throwing in rice and beans. The typical sour cream, «guacamole», and pico come with it. The chicken fajitas are awesome! My favorite place to get them. And the only reason why I go back 3 times a month. The rice and beans are okay, but nothing great. I usally pass on them. The«guacamole» is pathetic. It’s similar to taste to the processed store-bought quacamole, which may or may not have avocado in it. The service is irrating slow. The waiters are pretty good about getting your order, but horrible about passing out the check. Not a place for a quick lunch. The Good; great chicken fajitas, and good complimentary chips and salsa The Bad; slow service, value The Ugly; the«quacamole».

Just about anything with the name moniker«Willie’s» tied to it is going to produce a memorable dining experience. It’s like the«Papa’s» of fun food joints!

This restaurant is part of the Willie’s chain of establishments. You walk in make your way around to the counter and place your order. You then go find a seat and wait for them to bring you your food. The chips and salsa are pretty good. The salsa is served warm which I like. Waitress comes by to double check your order and then brings it to you as soon as ready. I had the carne asada on this last visit. It was a whole beef fajita skirt steak served with pico de gallo, rice, beans and fresh tortillas. It also comes with a roasted jalapeño pepper which of course I did not eat. The meat was very tender and cooked perfectly. It had good flavor as well and was not chewy or stringy like some places. Our drinks were refilled promptly and out waitress checked up on us periodically. I liked my meal and will definitely be back for another visit and try on of the other items they have on the menu.

This is a SOLID lunch place. It’s an office favorite in this area. The food and service have been consistently good. It is, alas, a chain. This place doesn’t come close to «real» taqueria food. It just doesn’t. However, I’m tempted to give a fourth star because it excels at what should be a separate genre: white-people Tex-Mex. Yeah, I said it. Nothing is super flavorful… nor spicy… not exceptionally fattening/greasy. It’s a «denuded» form of Tex-Mex. In this genre, it’s better than many of its competitors. The portions are outside-of-the-Loop/Texas-sized. Oh – they charge extra for jalapenos(pickled — not even fresh). Still, the prices are fine. One last comment: I just don’t «get» the ordering process. You tell the counter person your order… and then the waiter comes to the table to collect your ticket and verify the order… and then you wait a bit(not terribly long… but the process could be easily abbreviated). Again, it strikes me as inefficient and… er… a little«dumb.»

The drinks are ExPENSiVE. I think a swirled margarita(strawberry and plain) was like $ 7.95. The one w/Chambord(i love chambord!) was like $ 10 I think? The Food… was mediocre. Pretty standard tex-mex. Not a big variety on the menu. Mostly tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas. The Service… was sub-par.

The best fajitas I’ve ever had. I’ve loved Fajita Willie’s fajitas the most since I was 14. Amazing chips and queso too! And very tasty margaritas as well. The tortillas are to die for… they’re the softest tortillas ever! I can’t come here without getting fajitas, I have never tried anything different as my entrée. I can’t, I’m sorry, I just can’t! You will definitely walk out of this restaurant full and happy.

This place isn’t bad at all. It’s the middle of the pack in comparison to other restaurants similar to it. Me and my co-workers go here every so often. We normally have a debate about going here or to the other restaurants within the 5 mile radius of it. If we pick Fajita Willies it’s because of the location to our company. The service is good. Normally, the staff is friendly, social and pretty efficient. I did have a separate incident where a staff member messed up my phone order but that was the only time we witnessed a problem amongst the many times we’ve eaten there. The food is ok. The food tastes good. Good portions. There is nothing that is extremely memorable. Drink wise, I do enjoy their BeerRitas.
