Faces Ultra Lounge

The live band was in place as promised ok Saturday night, however, the sound was way too loud. The singer sounded like she was screaming and since I have heard her sing before I know it wasn’t her.
The drink I had was horrible (after it was made incorrectly) and I dare not order another to be more disappointed.
The steak night is over an hour late. The 3 stars is for effort and free admission. I will not return but will go across the street to bar 5015.

Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday 3 weeks ago. We had a good time (I think it was the crew)…I liked the fact that there was a live band before the club scene started. It was a packed and full house. I didn’t like that it was so crowded. I was seated, but people were swarmed all around me, sitting on the arm of my chair falling all over me. No bueno. Lots of young people — I prefer a more mature crowd even though I’m young. I didn’t particularly care for the music. It was more of the local rap music that I’m not familiar with. Not enough Drake. All in all, we had a pretty good time.

Drug dealers! short skirts! And remember to never trust a big butt and a smile ;)

Come straight to the bar. You will need several drinks to make it through the night. The selection in regards to the opposite sex is… well, my friend. I will let you be the judge of that! This place is perfect for bar hopping in the area. It’s free to get in (last time I was there) and its relatively small. So it’s perfect for coming through, getting a quick turn up, and getting out.
Sections are available. But I personally wouldn’t get one here.
Drinks are nice and strong here. Bartenders do not disappoint at this place.

We Stopped in here to help a friend celebrate her birthday. I like this place. The reviews had me thinking this was not my kind of place, but it was cool. I would go back, but I will be leaving at 11:30 as that is when it gets too crowded with all types of elements. I got nervous and left around midnight. The drinks were expensive, but good. We didn’t have to wait more that three minutes to get drinks, but this was before midnight. I can imagine there was a long wait after midnight due to overcrowding. The Hookah service was great. The staff kept replenishing the coals. Bottle service is ridiculously expensive, but folks seem to make a big deal out of it. It is too tight to dance in there, but that didn’t stop us from trying. The restrooms were clean and spacious. Parking was a beast, but we were a block away… not too bad.

After a hard week for my family, me & my cousins decided to drive across the city of Houston to this bar/​lounge because we heard it had cool vibes. Parking wasn’t terrible & they have Valet for $ 10 if you want to secure your car & give your mind relief while you are «Turning up». The newly renovated venue was nice but the bar atmosphere need a lot of work. Well drinks were way too high ($ 7)? The service was horrible, at one point there was more bartenders than people in the lounge. I, personally, have never been to a bar & the bartenders were lazy. The bar is the $life$ of the club! Houston is steadily growing & the location of this venue is in a prime area.

After bar hopping on a Friday night with some friends the weekend of my birthday, we decided our last stop would be at Faces a.k.a. «the ghetto club» lol. I’d never been and although I’m a fan of more grown & sexy establishments, every blue moon I tend to want to kick it at a hood spot, just because. Per one of my friend’s suggestions, she said it was a cool place, so I was game. In the words of Lil Boosie «we all got some ratchet in us» so there you have it!
What can one expect when coming to Faces? Definitely an urban, hip hop atmosphere. We arrived around 12:45ish and it was pretty packed. The type of packed where you have to turn your body to the side at times to maneuver through the crowd. They have an outside patio area that’s actually pretty nice if you want to get away from all the madness. Expect the DJ to be spinning all the ratchet cuts –Lil Boosie, Webbie, 2 Chainz, Rich Homie Quan, etc. No chill moments, so if that’s what you’re looking for umm, this place ain’t for you boo.
The downfall for me was the bar, or maybe I should say the bartenders. First off, the bar area is pretty big and you can access it from any area of the club. However the bartenders are extremely slow. OMG, I’ve never seen anything like it! I don’t know if they were short staffed or what, but we spent an hour waiting just to get a drink! Ri «gat damn» diculous! I tried getting the attention of 2 different bar tenders but they were just all over the place. One of the guys saw me becking for him to come my way and yelled «I see you, I got you next!» but never came to take my order. When we finally got our drinks, they were way too sweet and I was highly disappointed. We only had about 30 minutes to enjoy ourselves because we had been at the bar the whole night damn near. Like really, what part of the game is THAT?
The parking lot is really tight and tends to get overcrowded. They do have valet which is cool and probably your best option being that there is limited parking in the area. We left right at 2AM and it was hell getting out of the parking lot. Once I did get my car from the valet guy, I was blocked in by a party bus for about 10 minutes before the driver realized I was trying to get out. It was just way too much going on, but I guess that’s expected when everybody is trying to leave out at the same time. Never again.
I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed myself a lot better had my bar experience not been so horrible. An hour wait for a drink? That’s that bulls**t and definitely killed my vibe for the night. Not sure how it is any other night of the week, but I definitely don’t plan on going back on a Friday. Miss me with the foolishness at Faces. I’d rather go across the street and get my drink on at Bar 5015 instead.

The service was awesome until my husband debit card was lost by the bartender. The police wrote a report on a small tablet and the bartender had the nerve to tell us we had to wait until the lights came on so she can look for his card. Oh! She made sure we paid for our drinks. After that more and more people started to complain that their cards was stolen. Bad service

Soo I don’t know WHAT this place is like on a «regular» day, but we ended up here on a late Friday. It’s uhm. a good time with managed expectations. You can totally have an out of the norm experience.
Definitely caters to a more young, «vibrant» audience where new age rap & hip-​hop dominates the sound system. The bartenders need a little help as they have a HUGE bar and not enough help. From the looks, when they did pour a drink, they poured good ones. But you may be double fisted if you don’t want to wait.
Soo good times yes, regular visits, absolutely not. For the faint at heart, absolutely not.
