If you want a Doc that cares about her patients and her business this is a must go! Sheena is a sincere optometrist that really spends time to make sure her patients are happy. She has a great boutique style office; which is my personal preference working in the boutique medical industry myself. I recommend her to anyone in need of glasses and to also get the great prism coating offered by her lab. Thanks for the great service Eye Bar I love my new glasses! See you soon!!!

First the positive… Eyebar is in a cute little house near River Oaks. It carries a lot of high-​end brands that are difficult to find at other optometry offices. The woman I dealt with was very nice.
I have no experience with Dr. Garner. I visited to get some glasses made from an existing prescription. Eyebar was on my insurer’s list of in-​network providers. Things went south when I found out that Eyebar marked up the frames I wanted 50% over MSRP. (MSRP for the frame is $ 170, Eyebar charges $ 255). At that price, I may as well not have insurance at all. Buyer beware… Do your research before you buy glasses here. I ended up filling my prescription at another in-​network provider for MSRP.

Dr. Garner and Whitney couldn’t have been more amazing. I was referred to them by a friend, but I had anxiety about the visit as I haven’t had my eyes examined since I was a child. As soon as I walked inside, Dr. Garner greeted me and offered me a beverage. Anxiety gone. The exam was easy and stress-​free. She didn’t try and sell me on other exams that weren’t necessary. Then Whitney to close this amazing experience. They both assisted me in picking out frames that fit my budget and my enormous head. (I hate trying in glasses as I always look like I should be in a lab examining rats) I will recommend Dr. Garner and team to everyone I know. Thanks again!
