I went to the Dean and Deluca golf tournament a few weeks ago and the event itself was awesome. I wanted to commend ExtremeTix on their customer service and my ticket purchase experience. I got my confirmation email right away, the fee wasn’t outrageous like some other ticketing providers, and when I had a question about my purchase, their customer service rep was easy to get a hold of and answered my question.

I paid over 200 for tickets and almost wasn’t able to print them out, It took me hours of trying to contact support to finally get through. I will never go through extreme tix again. I’m extremely pissed off. I can understand now why every review is 1 star. How can a company like this even survive. I sent multiple emails to their support and management with no call and no response. Highly unprofessional.

On 4÷16÷15 I went on line to purchase a ticket for the Good Guys Event @ The Raleigh Fairgrounds scheduled for 4÷18÷15 While on the web, I took too long and the transaction timed out according to your website On the same day I received an email from you showing a zero dollar transaction. On 4÷22÷15 I recv my credit card statement and you charged me for $ 15.50 I have called on 4÷23÷15 and 4÷30÷15 and both times was told it will take 2 – 5 days to clear up and no management was available to speak with. I am now filing a complaint with the Attorney general in your state of operation and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I will also be sharing this via social media since you are unable to conduct business in a timely and professional manner. I just purchased two Cheap Trick tickets for Feb 7, 2014 show at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, IL. I selected seats, entered all of my information, clicked«Make Purchase», and waited. I got the little spinny thing that suggests the order was processing. It spun for 10 minutes then the page crashed. Attempts to get back into the website have failed. The 888 phone number went straight to busy signal. I went to check my credit card, and the proper amount has been billed. I received no confirmation from the website itself, nor have I received a confirmation email. I called later in the evening when their phones freed up and was handed a line that the credit card denied the transaction. Even though it was their website that tanked. Even though the charge hit my credit card account and I confirmed over the phone with credit card company that it went through. Really. So now I have a charge to my credit card and no tickets. What would have been really refreshing is that when I called, I was told«We know we are a second tier ticket agent. Our website couldn’t handle the volume and we crashed and lost your transaction half way through the process. We can’t replace the tickets, but we’ll make sure to take care of the issue with the credit card company.» Instead the blame was pushed elsewhere. Never, ever using their service again.

So excited for the Willie Nelson concert in April, that I quickly jumped on the ExtremeTix website to purchase tickets. Unfortunately some weird quirk happened with their website at the end of the transaction and it told me to call customer service. The agent assured me the first transaction did not go through even though I got emailed a receipt of my purchase. I purchased my tickets again on the phone with her and was emailed a receipt immediately. It turns out I was charged twice. Ugh. I called customer service back to make sure that the first transaction was cancelled. She told me she saw no such transaction on her end. I called again and the agent told me that the first transaction had been voided and I should see it refunded to my account within 7 days. Weeks later, I called again(today) still waiting on my refund and was told they don’t see the transaction at all. Now I’ve sent in all bank statements and receipts to prove they overcharged me and am still waiting for some kind of response from them. Thank God Willie Nelson is worth the trouble and paying twice what I should have. Word to the wise: don’t use the Extreme Tix website to purchase tickets.
