Took almost 2 hours for my food too arrive. Semi cold. The Lo Mein is disgusting. The soups have no good taste. Very cheap quality food.

Ordered chicken and pork fried rice with extra veggies on a Thursday night. It was empty when I went in but there were 4 others behind me when I left. The man at the front was very short. Not very polite which was an immediate turn off for me. If I’m paying you at least be somewhat friendly. But wanted to judge based on the food so went ahead and ordered. The container was pretty small considering that it cost me $ 8.85. The rice was hot and delicious but the meat was not good at all. The pork was dry and hard; the chicken was unseasoned and the vegetables were cold. Sorry Unilocal but you led me astray on this one! Won’t return.

I love this place. I’ve been going to this place since high school. Which is 15+ years. I always order the spicy house special fried rice. The special fried rice includes pork, chicken, and shrimp. I have also ordered items off the appetizers(chicken wings and crab puffs) and they have never disappointed. I will say that their soups are not anything to rave about, but they’re not bad. Now, their customer service is great! I love the husband and wife. They are so nice, they’re never rude. We always joke around with the husband and I’m always talking to the wife about her sons. I will say that it is in a seedy part of town, but I think the fact that they’ve been there so long they have become a staple to the community. I guess. Who knows. The point of the matter is that it’s a good restaurant. I also wouldn’t suggest eating there. It’s more of a order and take-out/delivery place. Not a sit-down place.

I really like the food. The setting is extremely ghetto so just stick with takeout. The fried rice is good, the lo mein is good, and the dumplings are good.

WORSTSERVICEEVER! Found Express Wok located at 12450 Bissonnet St suite 120 Houston, TX online. I immediately noticed it has amazing reviews. However I also noticed that it had a couple reviews stating there were long wait times to get your food delivered. We decided to order our food anyways expecting for it to be a little slow. I placed my order with the gentleman that answered the phone at 6:45pm at 7:45pm I called Express Wok to inquire about my order. The same gentleman answered the phone and explained they were very busy but the driver had already left and was very close. At 8:00pm I called back, the same gentleman answered the phone. He verified my address and said his driver would be there in five minutes. I instructed him to have his driver contact me on the phone number provided because I felt he may be having difficulty locating my address. At 8:20pm my 9 month pregnant and very hungry wife contacted Express Wok and spoke with the same person again. This time he gave her the number to the driver. My wife contacted the driver and questioned the status of our order. The driver stated she already dropped off the food and that a person signed the credit card receipt. My wife surprisingly shocked informed her that we had not received our food and that she had delivered to the wrong house. After hanging up with the driver my wife contacted Express Wok again. This time to let the gentleman who continuously answers the phone and took our order that our food had been delivered to the wrong house. He then told my wife he would send the driver back to the house to retrieve our food. Are you kidding me? Yes please go back to the house and retrieve the half eaten food that is my dinner… Thanks. He then asked us to wait longer so they could try and deliver it again. My wife explained it was getting late and if he could ensure the order could be delivered within the next 20 minutes she would not cancel the order. Express Wok then told my 9 month pregnant wife to get in the car and drive across town to pick up our order. The same order that was previously ordered at 6:45pm for delivery. Worst service ever! Not only is this guys grasp of the English language terrible but the driver cant even manage to find an address. Instead of trying to correct the problem and take care of a new customer, he instead tells a pregnant woman to come pick up her food. DONOTORDERFROMHERE!!!

Typical small, mom and pop American Chinese restaurant: 1 man show to take to go, in house, and delivery order — so just wait if he told you to wait! No nonsense service. Mostly everything is fried with different kind of vegetables or sweet sauce. Portion is big, price is reasonable, although I can find cheaper other places.

We would not order again. Had take out– general tsos too spicy and dry. Shrimp lo mein greasy, chicken with garlic sauce was gross, pepper steak very chewy. Egg drop soup mediocre. Also quite expensive– $ 50 for 4 people.

Love it! Cheap, affordable and tasty! I have been coming here forever! When I was a kid, I needed to get my weight up. I refused to eat anything. However one day my parents brought home shrimp fried rice and gave me a bite… From there I finally found a food I could eat. I love their shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mien and egg drop soup!!! Sooo yummy!!! You can feed a family of 4 for around 20 bucks!!! Beat that!!!
