Estates at Bellaire

Great place to live, centrally located and safe. The staff are very friendly, courteous and go above and beyond to make you feel at home and I would recommend Estates at Bellaire to everyone.

Estates was a great place. Not anymore. We gave the new management a shot because our experiences with management are usually only for package pick up or something like that. Fees definetly increased while surrounding communities have not. We are ready to find a better place to live and there are many to choose from now. It was worth the price, but recently we have not seen this to be the case anymore. advertised rent for new residents is a couple hundred LESS than what we pay and when asked about it at renewal time, we were given a company line. Could not even transfer to a current unit that would be less expensive. After 4 years of living here we felt they should have handled it better. There are better places out there.

My wife and I moved into this property back in 2012 for our first apartment together. It was operated under different management at that time and although they were all friendly, the Berkshire Communities (current staff) is very professional and definitely easy to trust them as your landlord. In three years we never had a service request go longer than 24 – 48 hrs to repair (emergencies were handled immediately as well). The maintenance crew is very courteous and the office staff managers (Rodolfo and Brandon) are both great and will do anything they can to ensure your concerns/​priorities are taken care of as quickly as possible. The neighbors are all nice and ideal for any individuals whether your single, married, have a family, etc. Their pet policy is aligned with other properties and they provide many dog waste baskets around the grassy areas on property. The only negative comments we could make is the main gate malfunctions occasionally so be cautious of it’s actions, as well as their could be more lighting throughout the visitors /​4^th floor of the garage and exterior parking spaces inside the community. The property was very safe and the area is perfect if you’re looking to live inside the 610 loop /​Galleria /​Bellaire area. Overall, my wife and I would recommend this property to anyone and we really enjoyed our stay at the Estates at Bellaire from July 2012 — Nov 2015.

Estates at Bellaire (previously Jefferson Estates) is a great property! Since Berkshire took over last year, improvements have started trickling in. The management is friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff are top notch. I was out of town for a week and had a wedding gift coming in the mail from Amazon. I wanted to make sure that when I arrived that evening, I could have it with me for an early morning trip to my friends wedding. The office staff gladly placed the package in my apartment, reset my alarm and even called me to confirm it was inside. They go above and beyond to make sure that their residents are happy and taken care of. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an apartment in the area!

Estates at Bellaire has the WORST management. Horrible. Awful. Irresponsible. Unethical. Careless.
We lived there for 2 years. Nothing ever works, gate is always broken, pool is closed frequently, apartment and car break ins throughout the complex and their solution was to close access gates but no security. If maintenance has to come into your apartment they don’t fix anything but they leave a note saying they did. They will also leave your apartment in worse condition than before if they try to fix something. The list goes on.
Never EVER rent from Estates or Berkshire Communities!
