El Viejo Mexico Custom Furniture

I was slightly concerned about going with El Viejo for some custom built-​ins based on the negative reviews I read on here. For the price they offered me (which was incredibly reasonable), I couldn’t pass it up. My husband and I stopped by their shop one afternoon to look at their work and we were pleasantly surprised at the high quality we saw. They can basically recreate anything you request, which includes Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn look alikes.
The entire process didn’t go 100% smoothly– there were a few times I had to leave work early to come approve the final construction, only to find they were closed. The end result, however, was totally worth the wait and definitely worth the price. I’d go with them again but just be prepared to have some patience.

They refused to give me all of the cabinet doors that I paid for. They would not answer my phone calls and e-​mails.
