The cakes are delicious. They are not for the faint hearted when it comes to sweetness. However, I have a massive sweet tooth so this is right up my alley. I have yet to try something here I didn’t love. The staff is always very friendly and polite and smiley. Overall, it’s my favorite dessert place. It’s a great place to grab a slice of cake, a cupcake, brownie, cookie or what have you, sit with some friends and relax. Chances are, if you give it a shot, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I both have a HUGE sweet tooth and this place hit every mark! We got 2 slices of cake and a cappuccino… YUM!!! The cake was moist(yea, that’s right, I said it!) and full of flavor. It was definitely rich, but we love that quality though, so it could not have been more perfect. We don’t come to this area too often, but we will definitely keep this place in mind when we do!

A pretty standard dessert place. The cakes are HUGE and cost $ 8 and are pretty hard to finish alone… bringing a friend is probably a good idea. I have forgotten the exact name of what I got but I remember it being moist, chocolately, and very indulgent :) I died by the end, however, drowning in a sea of sweetness that washed all over my mouth and into my stomach and made me long for a juice cleanse… So tl;dr: good place but bring a friend to share those massive cake slices!

This place wasn’t bad. I got a slice of the Moms Chocolate Cake and two Red Velvet cupcakes to go. I thought the cupcakes were quite dry and the cake was only slightly moister. The icing was good on both though. Took care of the late night sweet tooth. The shop did a nice interior and cool vibe to it.

This cute little dessert gallery is where I come to hide or go for gifts for friends and family. They have the cutest desserts as well as a wall of trinkets for just about anyone. They have a great selection of hot teas and the venue is very well kept. There is a lot of places to sit and has great lighting in case you stop in to study, read or chat with friends. It’s a wonderful environment for just about any occasion.

Stopped by as a last minute sweet craving. Had key lime pie, cupcake and chocolate chip cookie. Overall the key lime pie was good. The topping could have been sightly sweetened more to add to good tart taste of pie filling. The cupcake was good but cookie was slightly dry. The purchase was made late in the day so not sure when cookie was made. Overall service was good and food was above par. Would I go back yes and the price was reasonable.

This place is a great discovery. The ambience is nice. There’s a lot of lovely dessert options. We tried the slide of tres leches and tiramisu. Also had a cup of mocha. Everything was delicious and the price was decent. Would definitely come here again. Ohh… There’s a huge parking lot so no worries about parking.

This bakery is delightful! The outside is very plain but the inside is very cute, clean and comfortable. They have a wide assortment of sweets, coffee, cocoa, and tea. Oh, and milk… thought that a cold glass of milk was pretty smart! They also offer sandwiches for those who dont have quite a hankering for something sweet. I came here with my sister and we decided on a pecan pie bar, world’s best brownie, strawberry cream cake slice and coconut cake slice. The pecan bar was great! The brownie was good but I think the title was a bit too proud. Definitely yummy but world’s best… not exactly. Both cakes were good and moist. Absolutely fresh and delicious but suffered from a tad too much and too sweet icing. I think it adds to the aesthetics of the cakes but we definitely scraped off quite a bit! These desserts are better shared, especially the cake slices. They are seriously huge! I would probably come back to try other offerings in the future. By the way the staff is lovely!!!

Tried this bakery out tonight on Über Eats. I’m a sucker for a classic, very vanilla, fluffy white cake and this place did NOT disappoint. It’s not fancy ‘Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla’, just a very good cake and is totally nostalgic to me. Growing up, we would get birthday cakes, celebratory cakes, you name it, from a family friend and she made hers just like Dessert Gallery. So much so that I had to text my brother! Truth be told, I’ve searched high and low for years to find a dupe for that cake. Now if I could just get them to put pineapple in it! Not sure if I would try this place when out and about, but as long as it stays on Über Eats delivery, I’d be hard pressed to find a more delicious, unpretentious cake. Bonus for being able to enjoy it with a glass of Chardonnay!

Although I’ve never actually been in the bakery, I’ve ordered their desserts twice through the favor app. I’ve tried several items, as described below: Italian cream cake — consistent. I’ve had it twice and noticed the same thing. The cake is dry but the frosting is ample and delicious, which makes this one of the better Italian cream cakes I’ve had in town Pecan pie bar — I make these at home as well, and I actually think I make them better. Nothing bad, but nothing good that makes them stand out. Blondie — this was surprisingly very moist and almost fudge like in texture. I really liked it White chocolate red velvet cookie — didn’t really taste like red velvet and the white chocolate they used tasted cheap. Most of their desserts are small(with the exception of the cakes). Overall, I like their vide variety and it definitely hits the spot when I want a treat.

The name of this place had me longing to go for years but never got the chance to, I think I hyped myself up too much. Hot Chocolate-It was standard, hot and chocolatey. That’s it. Lemon Bar– Was not overpowering in lemon which was nice but the texture was really gooey, almost like it was underbaked. Macadamia Cookie-Opposite experience and the cookie was WAYYY crunchy for my liking. Red Velvet Cake– tried it when one was brought to work, cake was really moist and everyone enjoyed it! Cakes seem to be where they excel(they’re really pretty too!) but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

Lovely place! Dessert was very good; we had a slice of the Italian Crème Cake and milk :) Can’t go wrong with milk! Cake could have been a little more moist but it’s all about preference. A little dry for me but the icing was delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

This place boasts of some of the best desserts that we have had in Houston. Some of our favorites here are Big-O and tiramisu. We have always had a pleasant experience here. I would have given them 5 stars but café au lait was a big disappointment. I had expected them to blend coffee and milk in perfect proportions(if not the sugar as well), like it is done in New Orleans or other places. Instead, they handed me a cup half filled with milk to pour in my coffee. However much I tried, it was always too milky and left me disappointed. They also have an attractive rewards scheme, and we got a free cookie from that.

I will admit, when you are looking at the menu, the prices do seem crazy… BUT when we got our dessert it was definitely worth the price. The serving size was so big, I took it home and got another night of dessert out of it. The inside décor is very cute and has a good vibe. I will definitely be back!

ouch! mother of pricing. nearly 3 dollar for a sugar cookie? do I look like I was made out of money to you!!! ridiculous pricing. ridiculous. the interior is vey modern! with couch and patio! that was pretty cool! the cookie was meh. it’s pretty hard to mess up on a sugar cookie. it was snowflake shaped. I think that was the only reason why I wanted it. will come back and try more cake. probably… after I save up… or not because I can find other cake places for much better pricing. sorry :(

Dessert Gallery is a dream come true. Tons of dessert options, super delicious coffee, and a great ambiance for either hanging out or studying — can’t ask for much more than that! They have all kinds of desserts, ranging from cupcakes/cake slices, cookies, macarons, cake/peanut butter balls, petit fours, and really anything your heart could desire. It’s a little pricey, but I never regret spending money on dessert. I really don’t have much more to say except that Dessert Gallery is your place for all things stress eating!

Been to dessert gallery twice, once about 2 years ago, and about 2 weeks ago. They have completely remodeled. The new look is bright and cute. The desserts are good. There is nothing I’ve tried here that would keep me coming back for more again and again. Ive had the coconut cake, the chocolate mouse cake, and some of their truffles. The coconut cake slice is huge, as most of their cake slices are, easily shareable between 2 people. I would be back but not before some of the other spots to get a mean dessert within 1 mile of this place.

This place use to be my all time favorite dessert place in Houston. This location was the first one I ever went to, I use to go to the Post Oak one when it existed. I’m disappointed that this recent time around, I was left un-impressed with the desserts. I ordered a Red Velvet Cupcake and a Monkey Bar(I think it was called). The Monkey Bar is a hybrid between a brownie, but it was very hard, not really what I was thinking. The cupcake was the same, it was not moist. And the icing was very hard. I’m saddened the quality is not there anymore. The parking at this location can be a nightmare during lunch hours apparently, we circled the parking lot a few times waiting for a spot to open up. So it was more disappointing that the effort was wasted on desserts that were lacking the taste and quality.

Uh… Short story: just simply not a fan of dessert gallery. It’s one of those places that you’re really excited about upon discovery, but when you get there, reality sets in that deflates all anticipation. Desserts are appear very luxurious in a way, but everything else about dessert gallery just wasn’t feeling as luxe except the price tag. Décor is contemporary but not very welcoming per se. Service is also cold where i received customer service similar to drive-thru’s where they’re hurrying me away. But the absolute tanker that dragged my rating from a 3 star to a 2 star is that the food is extremely expensive. Imagine a whole cake being sold at $ 90? Outrageous. Dessert is sweet, but the experience was not. There are many other locations in Houston with the full package! p. s. If you must come here, make sure to order or visit early because a lot of the desserts I was hoping to try were sold out or just unavailable.

I have to disagree with the prior negative reviews. I went to this place for the first time tonight and it was an awesome experience. The selection is amazing… They literally have everything from cake to salad. The seating area is a fair size and the environment is very laid back. The cake was super moist and you could tell it was good quality. Overall, I must say… I will be back!

Feeling glutenous? Come here after a sushi dinner and you will see your ministry expand! The portion sizes are ginormous(perfect for the price) and will leave you feeling deliciously lethargic. With Love! Definitely coming back here :)

Home away from home is usually Sugarland. Or the state where Sugarland is from. Dessert Gallery is full of gourmet sweets at an affordable price. Everything is made in the bakery so don’t expect anything that isn’t handmade or of cheap quality. The variety is wide, so you can get some nice ice cream or a huge slice of moist cake. Yes, I just said moist. If you aren’t in the mood for sweets, then check out their normal menu. I ordered baked chips with a cold turkey sandwich with beansprouts. It was delicious and I ate it without the guilt I would have gotten if I had eaten cake or ice cream. The WiFi password is their phone number and it’s pretty fast. So sit down, surf the web and eat cake. P. S. they are right next to a dentist…
I like the carrot cake and pecan pie or pecan bar. Everything looks yummy !! Place is nice and quiet
