Del’s Diner

They have great French fries. I always go here to get my liver and onions fix. Not many places have it, and they make it just like Mom did.

Only a place you might want to go to if starving and have no other options. Very unprofessional and food is horrible/​bland.

Think twice about coming into this dive. Probably good after the clubs. They have separate seating for smokers and non smoking. Non smoking is when u first walk in and smaller than the smoking section. We came on a Sunday morning. Just walk in and grab a seat. My granddaughter had a fit about the smell. Smoke, musty and old smelling. They have a breakfast bar, and fruit bar. Like grease? Then thus is the place for you! Could not finish my meal because of it.

went around here around 9pm at night. the place was abit an old fashion restaurant which was nice for a change. I ordered the dinner spaghetti and my thoughts were mixed about it. the portion size was enormous for the price it was amazing. However, the the spaghetti itself was below standards. the sauce was too watery and it felt like i was eating just plain pasta without the sauce. the relating to the price of the meal for $ 6 – 7 it was fair.

We’ve been semi-​regulars here for years. The waitresses are friendly and remember us, even when it’s been a while. They’ve watched my kids grow up. The food is home-​style. Breakfast is available ²⁴⁄₇. I recommend the Big Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast, comes with 2 eggs your-​way, choice of hash browns, home fries or grits, and toast or biscuits. It’s my favorite menu choice.

This place is actually on here?! There is no glitz and glamour for this one folks. Del’s Diner had held it’s spot at Wallisville and the 8-​Belt for years. Since China Ko moved from Wallisville due to popularity I think Del’s moved because they new the spot was hot.
This place is not very clean smelling. Like, at all! In this part of Houston you can still smoke inside and it definitely shows. The ceiling is kind of sick looking. and the people here are regulars that followed since it moved. Not very pleasant to look at.
I know I didn’t make this place sound too hot but, I will give them something. They do serve tasty burgers and breakfast, the waitress do attend to your every dining needs, and it is ²⁴⁄₇. I happen to partake at times in the indoor smoking. Why Not?! Smoke em if you got em!
