They have the best flavored soju(in case some of you never heard of it it’s kind of like vodka with fruit flavor or yogurt which is my favorite lol) also, their food(appetizers)are really good… my personal favorites are grilled smoked sausage, chicken wings, french fries, and fried dumplings. Yum~ as far as the rooms they’re nice and cool. Good to hold private parties(they even have large rooms) and finally the price is reasonable. Sometimes they give you coupons you can use on your next visit. :) Overall I would say it’s a nice little place with good service, up to date karaōke songs and yummy food. Pretty good place to just hang out and have fun!

Have no shame? Feel comfortable in your own skin? Are you willing to make a fool out of yourself? Are you tone deaf? Do people call you a songbird when you’re really not? If you said«yes» to any or all of these questions, come to Dding Ga Dding Ga. With their private rooms, you don’t have to worry about feeling awkward or deal with the judgment of random strangers as they hear you attempt to sing one of Mariah Carey’s ballads. You just have to deal with the comments that your friends make! Chances are they will say you did a stellar job when you really didn’t, but who cares??? It’s all about having fun! In my opinion, most Korean owned karaōke joints are the same. Every room has dual mics, two song books with a variety of Asian to American songs, an oversized table, tambourines, a disco light, and a control pad with buttons written in Korean. Don’t worry, if you can’t read the remote, just press random buttons until you get what you want. It worked for me. However, I can’t guarantee the same for you. Lol. The rate is about $ 20/hour for an entire room which is pretty cheap. You can also purchase drinks and food for your party. This particular karaōke joint is small, so be sure to call in advance if you have a large group. The rooms tend to get packed pretty quickly, especially on the weekends. I believe they only have 6 – 8 private rooms. On a side note: if you get cold very easily, I would highly recommend for you to bring a sweater. It gets pretty chilly.

Fair prices, good selection of songs, clean rooms. The guy at the front was super nice, and he even turned down the A/C when we complained about the cold… we’re weenies. This place is NOTBYOB, but they have drinks(and food) available for you to purchase. I’d stick with the beer cause the watermelon soju was gross. tasted like bitter water. The scoring system doesn’t work =(lol we got 0s on everything *The business sign is in Korean, so don’t look for the English name when you’re driving down Long Point! When you pull up, you’ll see music notes on the door.

tables are sticky. owner or workers smoke at the reception desk so it smells smoke when you enter. good song selection.

I’ve been coming here for over 6 years. I had no idea what the English name of this place was until now! The place is kinda old, as my friend recommended to try out Ziller instead. They are basically the same, with dual mics(here it’s wired but you don’t get feedback like at Ziller), an arbitrary scoring system that will give you 100 unless you really do suck, as well as drink and food available to order. Ziller looks newer, though. But I like this place for its ghetto flavor. I really don’t remember the rates, as I assume it’s around $ 20 per hour. That’s pretty cheap considering if you bring a big group and don’t go overboard on the alcohol. English songs are in one half of the book, plus look at the very end for the latest and newest pop songs. Of course, K, J and C pop are also available. And to find this place, the signage is in yellow and the windows are blacked out. But it’s on the corner of the shopping strip so can’t miss!

Not a fancy place, but price is reasonable, with good varieties of songs(mostly in English and Korean and some in Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, etc). This is the place to be if you want to sing and JUSTSING, in your own private room! They have alcoholic beverage like beer and Soju from the bar, but this place does not feel like a place to get drunk at! hehee: P I had a little problem finding this place located in a strip center on Long Point Road(where the K-town is) because its business sign did not spell out«Tinga Tinga» or «Dding Ga Dding Ga» in English! I would have missed it if my GPS did not say«You have reached your destination!» Anyhoo, I have posted a picture of the storefront so that if you may wish to go check it out, just memorize how those Korean characters look like to make sure you wont miss it when driving by! Have fun singing, y’all!

this is the place that will go on your list of best random finds in houston. so you show up, and the sign is in korean… and you kinda freak out, wondering whether or not you should go in. go in, it’ll be one of the most memorable nights you have. you get your own karaōke room, so you can make a fool of yourself in privacy. they have a bunch of songs in english, and the machine is korean. and so is the remote. and so are the videos. it adds to how funny you will find the place.

The food and drink prices are a rip off… but where else can you drink alcohol at late hours of the night? When you are already inebriated and still feel like a making stupid decisions… this is the place to go! Their Kimchi Tofu dish is pretty good. Everything else is instant from a package. Oh… and you can’t leave without getting a few bottles of soju. Just don’t look at your credit statement the next day =)

It was my first time there at Dding Ga Dding Ga, we had our room for about 3 hours ordered $ 34 dollar worth of food, $ 8 worth of cokes, and $ 12 worth of soju. The services was rude and horrible, and the food selection sucks. After we got done with our room the total of the room was suppose to be around $ 114, but instead they charged us $ 144. Which was a ripe off! Then the old lady said that tip is 15% equal to $ 22 dollars, I thought tipping was our decision to make? I would recommend you going to somewhere like Genji where the service is great, food selection is big, and pricing is right. I ADVISEEVERYONETOSTAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE. IT’S A RIPOFF!!!

The service is crap. Dding Ga Dding is a Korean karaōke bar. It is hard for non-Koreans to find because the title is in Korean. I unfortunately fear I must inform you that I’ve been here on more than one occasion. Korean karaōke bars are different from the karaōke most of you are used to. Your party gets a private room, so you can make complete fools of yourself with no strangers watching. They have a limited selection of songs in English, but it’s still fun for non-Korean speakers. But Dding Ga… gosh! I had no opinion of these guys before. Then I went this weekend. How rude can these guys possibly get? We got kicked out of our room and we weren’t done yet. No… we weren’t doing anything wrong, the room that we were in was just reserved for 11:30PM. They expected that we would be done by then. We weren’t. Instead of offering us a new room, they just came in at 11:30 on the dot and told us to get out. We paid… and they made sure to ask for tip when we covered the full bill. First of all, these guys should have comped our drinks or something to apologize for kicking us out… but instead they ask for a freaking tip?! If you are reading this, I implore you to go to Ziller instead! It is 5 minutes away, song selection is the same, and they actually have a decent menu and service. Oh… and I went there with someone stingy one time and she said she would pay. We made sure to ask if she tipped and she didn’t. Our server insisted that it was fine and that she was okay. She got $ 20 for that. I respect their establishment so much more for this.

This place is also known as Thing Ga Karaōke. I think the main sign is in Korean, so it may be hard to find. It’s in a pretty sketchy looking parking lot, but the inside is fine. You’ll walk down a hallway of rooms to the front desk(ironically at the back of the establishment). You get to rent out an entire room for your party(or just you, if you want) so you can act a fool as much as you please. The best thing about this place? $ 20/hr for a room! That other place above Star Snow Ice ended up being $ 100 for the large room for a couple hours. I think they serve food and drinks here but we were there to belt songs and shake the tambourines so we didn’t bother looking. I was pleasantly surprised by their song selection — they had some fairly new songs like Bad Romance and Baby(who doesn’t have a love/hate relationship with Justin Beiber?) as well as cheesy 90s oldies and straight up oldies(Journey FTW). The singing rating thing was broken as we consistently scored goose eggs, but it might have turned out better that way since we didn’t have to worry about comparing singing abilities. The remote was completely in Korean, but no fear! The guy at the desk will show you how to use it. The entire system seemed nicer than other ones I’ve seen(they upgraded!) because you could search for songs using the qwerty keyboard(ok I guess there were some english letters on there). Bathrooms were usable. Conclusion: this is a great way to have some cheap entertainment without having to embarrass yourself in front of strangers. And it’s also pretty entertaining to watch unrelated Korean music videos/movie clips in the background of your songs.
