Super clean salon with an amazing staff! Everyone was very helpful. The tanning beds were newer than other salons I’ve visited. I would highly recommend. The gentlemen who works there is a sweetheart.

The girl at the front desk was helpful and very friendly. She asked me exactly what I wanted and helped me decide what level to get. I used the Versa Spa spray tan since they don’t have my favorite at this location the Norvelle. I got the level two and it turned out perfect! It’s kinda hard to get out of here since it’s right off the feeder road but other than that it’s clean and staff was friendly.

I’ve been a Darque Tan customer for over a year now. My experiences vary depending on the location — but I live closest to Memorial so I’m choosing this location to review. The customer service is inconsistent because of their high turnover rate. The kids who work here(*yes — they are kids) are probably making minimum wage with bennies of free tans — so it’s hard to expect too much in terms of friendly cheerful people. For the most part, on a scale of 1 – 10 with 10 being the most friendly, I would say they are around a 6. Here’s my biggest complaint — sometimes the beds aren’t very clean. I’ve had to refuse to use more than one bed because you can still see a film of dried up sweat/lotion on the surface. It irks me to have to insist on clean beds as it should be their first priority above all else. Restrooms are sometimes in need of a good cleaning as well. Three stars because their beds have good bulbs, the rooms are decent and they have a good selection of packages. Minus two stars because of the sometimes gross beds, and nasty bathroom. Pee before you go folks, pee before you go.

This location is spotless, well-staffed & host to shiny new equipment. Eleanor at the desk was great. She factored new bulbs into my tan time so I wouldn’t burn! She also patiently assisted me with some trouble I was having despite being obviously busy in the front. The friendliness, professionalism & attention to detail is very appreciated. Wow, what a terrible experience. I used this salon a year or two ago to get ready for summer and I left back then because every single person behind the counter had the worst customer service skills. This year I decided to join back for a month or two before summer. When I went in yesterday(hoping for a change) there was no one at the counter. A young lady finally came around and starred at me waiting for me to speak. I told her I wanted a new membership and all she said was«fill this out». Didn’t say hello, didn’t ask questions, just handed me a pen and paper. After I filled it out I had to ask about the packages. She spent max 10 seconds describing the levels and then had a very hard time understanding a basic question regarding 12 – 15 minute beds. When I figured out the package I wanted she asked me to swipe my card. When she did, I asked her how much it was. It was ~$ 43 and some change. I asked why it was more than my package($ 24/month) and she said there was a $ 25 start-up fee. Well, this was news to me. Likewise, the company’s website doesn’t mention it ONCE. She told me I could buy lotion to waive the fee but the cheapest was $ 50. Screwed either way. She never once said thank you or acknowledged the customers as they piled in. She didn’t make eye contact, didn’t smile and definitely made everyone around her feel uncomfortable. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the location I don’t see how anyone would want to do business here. I’ll be giving it up next month and driving a little further to a different company’s salon that treats their customers with respect.

I only wanted to purchase one month of tanning to get ready for the summer months. I did appreciate that the sales rep did not push me into anything after I explained to her exactly what I wanted. However, this salon does not change their bulbs very often, so I did not get the tan I wanted. I even upgraded to several other beds, and it did not make a difference.
