I used to visit this location once or twice a week with my partner for ice cream in the evenings, but we stopped going a few months back. Granted, the staff typically only consists of high school aged students which is not an issue, but it is when they are: short with you at the DT speaker, short with you at the DT window, and always park you for a simple order. The most I have ever gotten from here in the DT were two blizzards and we always were parked. P. S. Always ask for napkins because you won’t get any unless you ask. The Dairy Queen at Highway 6 and I10 is sooo much better with customer service than this location.

Major health violation on our visit today. We ordered a couple of ice creams and an order of fries. They brought out the ice cream and no fries. Thought maybe they would bring the fries in a few minutes so I didn’t say anything. After about 10 minutes, I went to check on the fries. The girl asked the cashier what happened to the fries. He pointed to a table so she went to the table and told the woman that those weren’t her fries. She then tried to hand them to me. I told her I wasn’t eating fries that was on another customer’s table for ten minutes. She then put the fries under the warming lamp. Then the cook grabbed them and threw them back into the fryer with all the other fries. I will never eat at Dairy Queen again. Absolutely disgusting. Also they never apologized.

The food is terrible. I’m sorry it’s not the same! Like I had a chicken fried chicken sandwich which is called«the dude» on the menu & it wasn’t that good. The lettuce was soggy, the mayo tasted sweet and the chicken part wasn’t seasoned and tasted like crap. I’ll just stick to the blizzards and drinks.

We’ve been here many times & have never had any issues. The food is good, not greasy. The ice cream is good too. The staff is nice & friendly. The place is clean.

While the this location is still new, it’s clean and in a busy area, the food just isn’t that great. And this is based off my blizzard that I ordered. I ordered through the drive-thru and got two meals and a medium Butterfinger blizzard. DQ advertises that if you flip the cup upside down, nothing spills. So when I came up to the window, the guy flipped the cup upside down and said«magic!» …LOL that certainly gave me a laugh. But anyways, they didn’t have my food ready, yet they had the guy’s food who was behind me ready before me. WUT. Ugh. I waited about 5 – 8 minutes, a staff member came out and handed me my food. When I got home, my blizzard was starting to get liquidy!!! Nooooooo There must be something wrong, because I only had that thing for a good 10 minutes! And I don’t live but down the street from DQ. Ugh. I was disappointed. I could literally drink my blizzard. It would night as well be called a malt. Actually, not even. My burger and chicken strip sandwich was okay. My mom actually had the burger and wasn’t too fond of the abundant amount of mustard. My chicken strip sandwich was crispy but there was way too much shredded lettuce. It became a mess. I mean service was slow but decent. Wasn’t that great but not that bad. Disappointed with my blizzard. Food was meh. Service was slow.

Well I should’ve read the reviews. We like to come here during the week for dinner with the kiddos once a week or so. We enjoy how fresh our meals are and trying things on the menu. We love the country basket. The service is meh, it is fast food. I am not expecting exceptional service like another joint. So I’m good. It’s always clean when we go. We love that there is a dilly bar that’s cherry. Yummmmmmmmm. Food is great although service maybe needs improvement. I only mean service because when I got up to head to the counter it seemed they were arguing who was going to bring the condiments to our table since they did get it wrong. Happy Eats!

Been here a few times and it was okay, but today was bad. The employee had no clue how to work the register, his boss did not have much more knowledge and the food was not good. My teens would not even finish their meals, not to mention they no longer have the burrito!

This has to be the nicest cleanest DQ I have ever seen in the entire WORLD with an awesome patio! OMG! Great staff, hot food, great variety and finally a DQ with clean restrooms! The entire vibe is awesome and cozy, at the same time. I am going to be a regular here for life.

Disappointing. I really thought the bad reviews at this location were likely exaggerated, but I went for lunch today and the food was delicious… until I bit into a twist tie(that likely went to the buns package). I happened to eat my burger from the other side so I didn’t bite into it until I had a few bites left. I’m not 100% sure how you can completely miss putting a twist tie on a sandwich; I guess it could have been much worse but I digress… The fries were VERY well done(AKA: basically burnt). I think if I have a craving for DQ again, I’ll just drive the extra 3 – 5 miles.

We came here today for dessert after dinner. The employees were young but very freindly and nice. The young guy had a nice smile and was patient with me since I wasn’t sure what I wanted to get. I like the sundae waffle bowl here but today I got a oreo blizzard. My 3 year old twins wanted ice cream cones so we stopped in tonight around 8 pm. My oreo blizzard was great. I think the on the next birthday we will try an ice cream cake from here. The selection I saw looked good! :)

Not so sure why this place gets a bum rap. Maybe service has improved since the other reviews were written? The staff was all really young, but they all seemed to be working hard. Cleanest DQ I have ever been in. We got ice cream, but the food I saw looked decent. Typical fast food, but DQIS a fast food establishment, so not exactly a shocker. Ice cream order was good, and correct. Had to wait a few minutes, but it was a summer afternoon and half the world was getting ice cream. Decent establishment, I’m sure we’ll be back.

I didn’t give this DQ location a 1 star review because they indeed got our order right and it tasted good. I come in here with two other friends, and all we ordered were Blizzards. There was no wait time in line to order, so we placed an order fairly quick. They give us table numbers and we go sit down. Now, any other DQ location, it takes no more than 2 minutes and we can just stand there and get Blizzards pretty quick. But we were sitting and 5 minutes have passed by, so we finally get up to the front and check. Apparently our order was ready the whole time, and they were just sitting there. What the heck is the point of giving us numbers when you’re not going to go and deliver the orders to our table? Perhaps call out number orders if they’re ready if you can’t personally deliver them? On top of that, there were 10+ tickets in queue and it seemed like everyone around us have been waiting awhile for their order, too. For a fairly new location, I am surprised how long the wait time is.

Good Food, typical DQ from any other branch. Good Ice Cream, when they get the order right! I dont blame them they try there best to help, but I blame upper management. If you hire nothing but teenagers, they need guideness obviously! Dont doubt most of them this is their first job! Kids try their best but to order an ice cream blizzard and get the order wrong 4 times?! Again, dont blame the teens but upper management.

I purchased a burger from here, and there’s mold on the bun! How disgusting, I can’t believe they serve moldy buns. Never eating here again.

Driving with my mom she saw that a new DQ had opened up and decided to stop in for ice cream since it’s been a while since we’ve seen a DQ in these parts. Naturally, the first thing I do is check in. There’s a check in offer for a free blizzard topping so I order a blizzard and show the cashier the coupon on my phone. He excuses himself for a minute to go talk to a manager and when he returns he says they«don’t take coupons off the phone» Um… I’m sorry, are we in 2014 or nah? I didn’t bother arguing with him for the measly one free topping on my blizzard though, just saved the offer for another time where I might have more luck. As far as everything else goes, it’s a nice store, everything clean and new and bright. I probably wouldn’t go back just because DQ isn’t a place I frequent… unless I get a serious craving for ice cream cake(which happens more often than I wish it would).

I ordered the $ 5 buck lunch. I added nacho cheese to my fries and a large drink. I didn’t want the ice cream. They told me they couldn’t upcharge me on the drink and totally charged me twice. $ 6.36 for the meal and $ 2.29 for the large drink. The meal is supposed to include a medium drink, fries, sundae, and the chili cheese hot dog. The manager, Serena, just called and apologized and offered a free drink if I ever go back. I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Got Hawaiian blizard. All ice cream, not much Hawaiian ingredients. Not up to par with other DQ’s. Will not go back to this location.

It has been awhile since I’ve stepped foot in a Dairy Queen, so when a new one opened up close to my house, I thought I would give it a shot. Normally when I have gone to DQ in the past, its usually been for their desserts. This time though I opted for their $ 5 lunch special(actually it was $ 6 since I upgraded for the blizzard version for $ 1 more). I think they are still getting the kinks worked out. The cashier, while friendly, needed help multiple times with our order. Also, the special is not as advertised on their website. On their website it says the burger comes with cheese(I was charged extra for it), and also it says you are supposed to get a small blizzard for $ 1 more(I was given a ‘mini’…barely a child’s portion). These are minor quibbles but I still think worth noting in that we didn’t quite get what we paid for. The food was your standard mediocre fast food fare… nothing to drive out of your way for. If I was blindfolded I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and Mickey D’s. Overall the restaurant was rather clean, and my son loved the spoon door handles. If I am close and looking for a cheap lunch, I may seek them out again.
