Excellent BBQ, as another guy said sauce is a little different but only complaints are they are a little pricey $ 13. For 1 and half ribs. not racks individual ribs. and about ½ link of sausage. 2 sides. no bread, pickles, onions, nothing. And they sale out fast!!!

This place is amazing. They have the best potato salad and baked beans. The ribs and deer sausage are to die for. The sauce is great. Not a big fan of their brisket but that is my only complaint. Everything can’t be perfect. This place gets 5 out of 5 for me.

I called in my order should’ve been ready by 12:30. It wasn’t I waited another 30mins and it was on and poppin! Ribs, deer sausage, garlic sausage and hot sausage! Potato salad and baked beans! Potato salad was more mashed potatoes then salad. Potato salad has chucks of potato, well at least that’s what I’m use to. Baked beans were on point great flavor! Ribs were good with and without sauce! The BBQ sauce was good also! Overall great food, friendly ppl just a little wait!

I have tried and tried and tried and tried and tried to eat food here. The problem is that they are never here when they say will be. I have driven by many times during their listed hours and they aren’t here. I call them and they say they are doing a catering job that day and won’t be at their regular location. Today I called this morning and the guy said he would not be at the location until 1 due to a catering job they were on. He promised that he would be here by 1 pm and when I arrived he is a no show. I call again and he says he’s running late and it will be 2 before he gets here. That’s too late for lunch and besides I drove here again only to find them as a no show. BEWARE: this operation is all about catering and not serving at their location. They are highly unreliable!!! Do not come here. They won’t be here. I have written almost 500 reviews on Unilocal and this is only my 10th1 star review.

Scheduled this truck for a marketing event with 6 other vendors. Event was scheduled for 4−6pm, truck did not show up until 5:30pm after we had to turn away several customers due to their lack of professionalism and respect for others time. Deposit was paid in full and owners have refused to refund even though they did not hold up their end of the deal. If you are looking to book their services I sincerely hope you are not depending on their professionalism or respect for timeliness.

My first and LAST time eating here. Waited an hour for my order and both the brisket and ribs were tough. And the taste/seasonings was awful, taste like the meat was boiled, not barbecued. Not sure what others were eating when they wrote their review. $ 13.00 just given away. Just awful!!!

10÷29÷1412:15 — D-Luxe is D-ifferent. The mercato wine sauce gives these smoked meats a whole new flavor. Look for the bright red food trailer with a big black steel pit at the corner of Eldridge & Fm 1960. A welcomed addition to the barbecue desert of North-West-No-Where. I scored D-Luxe an 86 out 100. Reserve Grand Champion Texas BBQ. Smoke: «Red oak, Mesquite, Pecan and little bit of Hickory».(???) The big black ancient rusted pit is for real and not for show. They use the pit to cook offsite and haul it to the trailer everyday. This pit is a sight to see. It looks like they resurrected this thing from the bottom of Galveston Bay and painted it black. Not sure why it has smoke stacks. There was more smoke billing out of the ½ inch gaps between the lids and holes at the seams. Very primal. The poor folks parked at the traffic light get a nice smoke bath. Brisket: Very Good. An 1⁄8 inch smoke ring beneath a well constructed black bark. Near perfect tenderness. Full intense smoke so bring the Rolaids. They use a sweet white mercato wine sauce as a mop. It gives this brisket a unique flavor unlike I have tasted anywhere. There was a slight bitter after taste from either the charred sugar from the mop or too much smoke. If they could get this balance corrected it would be a slice to rave about. Serious flavor in this brisket. No sauce needed. Ribs: Good. A big meaty spare rib. A little past tender and little dry. A great smokey bark with same mop flavors and sugar coated rub seasoning. Full smoke flavor but not as intense. A lot flavor packed into a big meaty rib. No sauce needed. Sausage: Very Good. They serve a beef and a venison link. Both are equally delicious. Moist, bold traditional spice with beef and venison flavors. A nice peppery aftertaste. Very juicy so have a napkin handy or you have grease running down you face. No sauce needed. Sauce: Excellent. This is not a traditional BBQ sauce and very unique. This wine sauce had strong ginger and herb flavors. It worked well with all the meats and gave every bite a rush of flavor. Get it on the side, dip and enjoy.

And then out of nowhere, the heavens opened up and a rainbow appeared across the sky. And Rick said«It was good.» And then the clouds formed a tunnel around the rainbow and it stretched and curved from the heavens onto the earth. And Rick said, «it was good.» And then a thunder could be heard flowing throughout the rainbow leading from the heavens through the mist of the clouded path onto the earth. And Rick said, «it was good.» And when the thunder began to cease, a figure began to appear at the exit of the rainbow tunnel. A red food trailer being pulled by deer and swine proudly began to slow and settle the vehicle and its massive black pit onto the corner of Eldridge and FM1960. The rainbow began to compress into a fire and settled into the black pit as the clouds that formed the tunnel began to pour down into the pit and slowly exiting the pit causing smoke to fill the air with its mesquite fragrance. And Rick said, «it was good.» This is the story of the creation of a god sent BBQ truck that came to earth to save us all from the horrible BBQ in and around the Cypress and NW area of Houston. As witnessed by myself and a few others who were with me as we were traveling to another restaurant for lunch. Instead of repeating the same olé lunch type experience we were halted by these event that turned into a blessing. Adjacent to Walmart and across from Target and a carwash is an old abandoned Eckerds/CVS/Gym which now serves as a parking lot full of cars there for who knows why and vendors selling various items and fixing car windows, appears the new heaven sent food truck with clouds of smoke around it. You could smell it from your car while parked at the intersection with the air on high and the windows up. I KNEW I WASINTROUBLEATTHATPOINT. So I begin searching my pockets for spare cash, as I never carry cash, and started asking my passengers if they had any. In totally we came up with $ 3.50 cent. Sad. But. a glowing light of «we take MasterCard and Visa» appeared. YES. I start with a pound of venison sausage and a pound of ribs. The service was very pleasant as father and son prepared my order. We exchanged some laughs and I disappeared 5 minutes later into my truck. 5 minutes after that… I reappeared ordering another 2 lbs of the same sausage and 2 lbs of ribs. ITWASDELICIOUS! I simply can’t detail enough on how perfectly smoked and seasoned those ribs are. They serve them two ways. One with their special glaze of brown sugar and apple cider and another without the glaze but with its original rub and smoke. I tried both but being from Arkansas I preferred the latter. Now…the sausages. Its hard to beat dear sausage. And these guys have theirs specially made for them. Not that preprocessed stuff. This stuff is literally organic viagra. You don’t need no sauce… you don’t need no nothing. Just those babies and you’re done. Now that’s all I tried. I wasn’t much a fan of the sauce but frankly its not needed. They gave me some potato salad and honestly I’m not much of a fan of that either but if you require those things then you aren’t fully a BBQ fan. Just give me what I came for… MEAT. Very rare I give out 5 stars on a first visit. But after those ribs and sausages all I saw was stars. In fact, I went straight to sleep after I burped. Oink and Prosper!
