Crossland Economy Studios – Houston – Northwest

I needed a cheap place to lay my head after a Rockets game and this was just fine.
The room had one double bed, fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, and a small stand up shower. The tv had a few channels that let out an awful high pitched weird frequency buzz.
No frills but clean. I noticed some small damages to the base boards but for 50 bucks I really couldn’t complain. I seen no pest of any kind anywhere. My sheets and pillows were clean. The lady at the front was pleasant. Check in was a breeze.

I’ve read really bad reviews on this hotel. So like other people I was hesitant to stay here. The price is good. I booked my room through
Stayed for the weekend. It was decent, clean the queen studio double bed was good. There is no pots or pans in the room so you might want to bring if you plan to cook. The only issue I had was the room door not opening. Front desk the guy was not rude but he wasn’t friendly. When I told him about the door he didn’t really do much to help me. The area is nice just construction around the road. I didn’t see no roaches or bugs. The front office closes at 11pm. Walmart & Target are near by with some fast food restaurants. Overall I was satisfied.

We stayed here one night. We live in Houston but we had a big party to attend one evening and we new we were going to be in no condition to drive the almost hour drive home. we checked in a before 2 pm. The ac was on which is good because most places don’t leave them running. The room was big and roomy a plus when traveling with kids. The beds were comfortable enough. My only complaint is that the shower would splatter out above the rod if it was on too high and I like my showers to be fast and flowing. Oh and it leaked a little but I tightened it as much as I could and then shut the door. Problem solved. Tv wasn’t a flat screen but hey it kept my youngest satisfied the one hour he was able to watch it so no complaints here.
Also, the parking. I have stayed at a few places where you have to get in early to find good parking or you’ll end up around the corner from your room. We arrived after 3 A.M. and found good parking.
I would stay here again.

I was very hesitant on booking with a rated 1 star on hotwire. and affordable for the time. they dont disclose until after booking. and so it was Crossland economy
Studios, but I wasn’t too disappointed. I was able to do my laundry, front desk was very nice. The restroom is standing, clean and lotss of towels. in fact it was like a set of 4 towels with hand and face towels too. My room was clean til I unloaded my trunk to reorganize my wandering self. Overall this place is clean and has a stove and microwave and safe laundry room. Good enough for working in the area, and not having to drive back until weekends.

Quite simply and quite frankly this place is a dump. A complete dump. if its real cheap then its okay but other than that this place is complete dump

Better than I thought and was preparing for. We only stay here because we have a FREE 1 night stay voucher. I was expecting roaches, dirty room, and just smelly. I was proved wrong. The room was actually clean, free of bugs, and no awful smell. It wasn’t the Hilton or anything but it was definitely doable. There was a big ugly stain on the side of the mattress but as long as it wasn’t on top, I was ok. Not too familiar with the area but it seemed as if it was ok. The hotel is kind of hidden in the cut off of the freeway which is pretty quiet. No free breakfast. Has kitchen area to cook, if u want. Mini frig and microwave are in the rooms. If I really really had to– I MIGHT stay there again. Doubt it thought.

Oh my good sky’s. … I chose this place because I was near a meeting that I had to attend and the pictures looked great online but the online view is deceiving. I will be posting some pictures so you can see what I mean. As you can see the online view states that there is a kitchen which is true but right next to the bathroom. From the outside it looks like an apartment and the walls are so very thin. Although this was a fast choice and I shall leave as fast as i can… No up to date tvs, volume did not really work, and my shower dripped all night. I will not be returning to this place.
