I have visited Coreanos with my husband. We were so hungry that came to the first place with the food on our way. We do not regret that it was Coreanos. We ordered much food. Everything was excellent, the food was fresh, not cold and very very tasty. We liked the service in this place. In general it is not a bad place, I recommend you to visit it. you will eat there not very expensive food and will pay not much money.

I have been there three times and I enjoyed this place. The food is so delicious there especially I liked burritos. When I came in there first time, I liked this place from the first sight. Coreanos is a clean place, the service is fine there. I have never waited for my dish for a long time. The food is always fresh and has an amazing smell. I am really happy that I have found this place. The prices are normal. It is not very expensive there.

I am pleasantly surprised! The Scorchi tacos with bolgota(steak) is amazing! And the seasoned fries are really yum too!

Discovered this food truck outside of Pub Fiction the other night. Ordered the Pollo Loco burrito and it was absolutely delicious. Bursting with flavors and large in size. Not your average burrito, no idea what spices and seasonings they use on the chicken, but it was a treat for my tastebuds. Your average burrito can be so bland. Not the case here. Chicken was moist as well. Yum! Service was polite and quick despite quite a few people placing orders. I would definitely hit up this food truck again.

Went on a solid bro date with my bro to check out Magical Winter Lights. As we were freezing our hiney’s off outside(I mean 50 degrees is too cold for Houston am I right?!), we went to Coreanos for warmth. Coreanos was one of the three food trucks at the event on that day. I’ve had Coreanos a few times and I’m a huge fan of Mexican/Korean fusion. Their most popular dish is the OG burrito. Take some ribeye(and some quality ribeye at that), add some rice, kimchi, cilantro, a couple other veggies, and some spicy mayo and you’re going to feel a lot better about eating outside in 50 degree weather. My buddy, being from South Carolina, had never had Mexican/Korean fusion and he was a big fan too. Post meal, we felt like OGs, thank you Coreanos!

I like it so much. I like their food. Very fast food. it s very delicious and tasty. When I go to here and buy for instance one burritos after 5 minutes they again see me because I come and buy another 1 or 2. They are really so delicious. I think they use special spices for cooking and it s secret. Nice. Very nice. Highly recommended!

The OG Burrito was a great way to start the new year. Practically booked it out of Pub Fiction when I saw it was parked outside. Full disclosure, my love for Korean fusion and lack of sobriety may have biased my opinion of the OG just a smidge. But if it was enough to get me to heckle passerby to go grab a burrito for themselves, it had to have been good, right?

Tried this food truck after a night at pub fiction. Smelled so good we couldn’t resist! We had chicken quesadillas and beef tacos. Both were great… Quesadillas were un-freaking believable though. Very impressed by the chefs and their attention to detail in making my 1am snack! Will be back for sure.

Buritos here are extremely small. I usually order a quesadilla and 2 burritos for me to go. Not bad, but not the best food truck in this city. 3 Stars only for Horchata.

This review is a reaction to my experience at the bayou city arts festival. There was barely a line. I eagerly ordered Kimchi fries. 15 minutes later you guys yell out that you are running out of plates. It is hot outside. 5 – 10 minutes after this I notice people who ordered after me are getting their food. I ask you guys what happened to my order. You guys admitted to having a mix up and losing my order. Finally i got my fries and they were delicious but the long wait was inexcusable. I don’t mean to make comparables but I am making one to chilantros(the Korean bbq fusion food truck from austin). Your service and management could use some work. You guys also need to provide drinks. Food was great though. I did enjoy those delicious Kimchi fries.

Had them for the first time today at U of H and oh my gawd! So good! The Dawson burrito is now my favorite burrito. I got it without the spicy mayo Cuz I hate mayonnaise but if that’s your thing go for it! Seriously everyone should give this place a shot you won’t be disappointed. The people who run the truck are really cool cats as well.

I usually don’t do food trucks because I’m never parked and somehow cant manage to conveniently find a parking spot. If I could, I would have definitely tried Coreanos sooner. To begin with, I was greeted by a young gentleman taking orders and was very nice and pleasant! His customer service was on point to all patrons that came up and ordered. There were so many items on the menu that I wanted to taste but it didn’t make sense to me to spend close to $ 20 for lunch. I ended up ordering the OG burrito for $ 8. I really wanted to add the kimchi fries for another $ 8 but had to stop myself. The burrito itself was very delicious. The best burrito I have ever tasted! The kimchi, sauce, pico de gallo, and meat just really went well together. For $ 8 I hoped the burrito would be bigger but that’s just me being a fatty. Among other things that looked delicious were the Rice bowl and the tacos! I am definitely going to try this place again and I have a feeling I will be updating to a 5 star after those french fries, for now, I can only speculate!

My apartment complex had them come out for a resident event and I have to say, I was disappointed. I ordered the burrito and paid 8 bucks for something the size of a taco. The meat was chewy and the french fries in the burrito were soggy and felt undercooked. I’m all for fusion food, but this food truck could try a little harder.

This place just made me sad and feel betrayed. My mother’s workplace had them for lunch and she ended up bringing it to my place(free food!). The quesadillas and sauce were delicious, and I thought this would be five stars for sure. Unfortunately, about 36 hours later, I started feeling a little nauseous. At first I thought it was indigestion and took a nap. By the time I woke up, I had the worst nausea and urge to vomit I’d ever had in my life. I manage to crawl to the toilet where I released all the contents of my stomach and then some. You know in biology class how they told you swallowing and breathing go through the same tube which then splits into two so that one goes to your stomach and one to your lungs? Well, I learned that night that when you throw up, your airway closes, which really makes sense since you don’t want vomit going into your lungs. Why is this relevant? Because I was throwing up so much, I literally COULDN’T BREATHE. So here I was, head in the toilet like a college freshman at her first party, really starting to panic and cry since my vision was starting to black out(lack of oxygen and all), when I felt an ominous movement in my bowels. Now I had a dilema. I still couldn’t stop vomitting, but I also knew I would probably be spewing diarrhea any moment now. Making a quick analysis incongruent with my oxygen deprived brain, I decided I’d rather clean up vomit and quickly turned around. On the bright side, the movement seemed to unparalyze whatever muscles were closing my throat, and I could breathe again. As it turned out, I didn’t have to clean up any vomit. Tip: sit on toilet for diarrhea, throw up into trash can in your lap. I eventually managed to make my way to bed, where in 1.5−2 hour intervals, I would need to throw up. I can only assume the lack of further diarrhea was because I had thrown it all up before the food made it that far. I also developed a fever of 101 degree F and had a deep ache in all of my joints, so I couldn’t even sleep in the brief intervals I wasn’t vomitting. I also was so nauseated I couldn’t drive, so I was in a horrible Catch 22 where I couldn’t visit the hospital until I got better(but then I wouldn’t need to go to the hospital, would I?) Fortunately, by the next morning, I was feeling much better. At first, I blamed a lot of other foods I ate prior to my makeout session with the toilet. Then my mother called me to ask if I was okay. In an office of around 30 people, 20 had called in sick. The few who managed to make it to work that morning were also looking a little green. Those who brought leftovers home for their children or significant others? Yeah… family also sick. The vegetarian who ordered a vegetarian option? Sick. The office next door who also had employees visit this poison factory? You guessed it: sick. In the end, my mother reported that only a couple people managed to escape unscathed where she worked. One being my mother because I ate her share. The other skipped. I don’t know exactly what food caused it because people ordered different things and still got sick, but I believe someone reported them to the health department. You know what the worst thing about all of this is? I can’t even think about kimchi without feeling a little sick. I loved kimchi beforehand. That’s right, this food truck STOLEMYABILITYTOENJOYKIMCHI. I wish I could give this place negative stars because one star is still a few too many.

5 years ago, never in my wildest dreams I would have thought my favorite food truck listed in my «best I ever had» list would sink to the absolute worse. This is one of the saddest reviews I have to write. Coreanos was my absolute favorite food truck in Austin back in 2010. It overtook Chilantros as my favorite. Over the years, the food truck has truly deteriorated in quality and taste. The delciously marinated juicy short rib was replaced by a sorry excuse for bulgogi. It had the consistency of ground beef and tasted like what I would expect bulgogi would taste like as a TV dinner. Coreanos catered my apartment’s food truck wednesday on April 22. My boyfriend and I were so disappointed in what we had. The meat was cold right when we bit into it. It should have been a sign that something was wrong because 48 hours later we’ve endured painful food poisoning that ended up landing my boyfriend into Methodist’s urgent care on Friday. It turns out that multiple people at my apartment has reported the same issue ranging for mild irritation to violently ill. Coreanos has reached a new low. Almost a week later and we’re still suffering from the effects feeling fatigued, appetite-less, and nauseated after every meal we have.

It’s been a challenge to check out this place. Every time my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to go, either their truck was in the shop or they were only available during exclusive hours catering to the drunk crowd. Finally got to try their Dawson burrito and kimchi cheese fries. I think my boyfriend may have overhyped the place because although the food wasn’t bad, by no means was it worth trying to go out of our way those numerous occasions. The burrito had a lot going on but the flavor profile just wasn’t there. The kimchi fries were decent though.

Searched Unilocal looking for a food truck to cater my wedding reception. Could not have made a better choice. They arrived on time and were professional. The guys were able to pull in, get set up, and had prep times of 2 – 3 minutes per person. Personally, I’m not a big fan of cabbage. I thought this might create a problem because cabbage is a big staple in Coreanos’ menu. I tried an OG Burrito without slaw and it was excellent. Ribeye in a burrito? Yes, please! The kimchi sauce is great. I had plain fries as a side and dipped them in the sauce. The quesadillas were delicious as well. Just the right amount of heat, and plenty of meat packed into each quesadilla. I would definitely recommend them for a party or a lunch stop if convenient. 5 Stars.

You don’t know how happy I was when I saw this food truck outside the engineering design classroom after doing hours of work. Even though I am usually not a food truck fan, the aroma emitted by Coreanos was simply too alluring to resist and when I was lured to the menu, I caved to temptation! This Korean fusion food truck offers food items inspired by Korean cuisine dishes. One of which was the Coreanos dog($ 5), which was a bacon-wrapped hot dog topped with caramelized kimchi and a special sauce. Stay away if you are on a diet, because you will want to this guilty pleasure! The special hot dog was so delicious that I regretted walking too far from the food truck to get a second by the time I finished my first. Like other food trucks, Coreanos’ food is a bit on a pricey side, but I can ensure you that if you are looking for a delicious unconventional snack, you can’t miss this out if the truck is nearby!

I don’t care what anyone else says, this will always be my go-to truck. Everything not just the Dawson or three wise fries is delicious. The quesadillas are to die for and can I get a petition to bottle the«el scorcho» sauce? But perhaps the most underrated thing on the menu is the tacos. There’s something about the slaw and the great meat they have and a spritz of lime. It’s perfect. I’ve been going to the food truck for almost 3 years now and I hope it stays open forever. Can’t wait for my next visit!

It is amazing food. They came to my work place fron 11 – 2 for a week. I loved the food. I got the Og which contaiins fries, bulgogi beef and more stuff in a burrito. Very heavy! I had it for lunch and I couldn’t ate dinner that night. Price is reasonable once in a while but not reasonable for everyday food. The OG was $ 10 plus tips. I’d recommend people to try it. It is very interestin taste where mexican and korean mix. I could satiate my craving for mexican and korean at once. My coworker had kimchi friess are sooooo good.

So I’ve seen Coreanos a few times while going to and from class at UH campus, and one day I thought about stopping by to buy lunch. I ordered the OG burrito and I absolutely loved it! I was surprised to see French fries in my burrito but it actually complemented and tasted amazing with the beef and cabbage in it. I have yet to try their fries but that’s definitely next on the list. I’ve also tried the Dawson and I guess I wasn’t too big on the cheese in the burrito. But over all, I would definitely come back and most likely order the OG burrito.
