My 3 year old son has a real fear of getting his hair cut. He screams and shakes in fear, saying that it hurts. It is really a scene! While I am far from impressed with the exterior and interior appearance of Cool Cuts, I am very satisfied with how our stylist, Nicole, handled my son. She was very calm the entire time and tried to comfort my child even when he was being the most difficult. She did not make any rude comments about him squirming. I will be returning for future haircuts!

I never write reviews for establishments but I couldn’t let this experience go. My daughter just turned three and her hair was finally to the length to put in a ponytail and cut to keep for her baby book. It was a big deal for me and I wanted the first experience to be fun and exciting. We were intrigued by the bright colors and the fact it was right down the road from our home. When we walked in we were greeted by a worker who seemed irritated we were there. I understand if we came in at 6:59 but we were an hour before closing at 6pm. She never once smiled, even looked or spoke to my daughter and would constantly make an irritated face. Mind you, my kid wasn’t acting up or being a brat for her type of attitude. Before she started cutting I fully explained to her for at least two minutes that I wanted her hair put in a ponytail and then cut for her baby book. She said okay under her breath. Well she brushes out her hair and just starts to cut her hair normal!!! Thank goodness for my husband bc he stopped her right as she was doing it and said… We mentioned we wanted the ponytail? Well the girl kinda huffed, halfway rolled her eyes and said oh… Okay. Excuse me but didn’t I just look you in the eye and explain this and now your making us feel like asses about it? Well then the best part comes.: every two seconds the worker looks at me, and says, «keep her still, I can’t cut her hair when she keeps moving.» Last time I checked, no three year old understands the concept of keeping their head COMPLETELY still. She didn’t even once try and talk to my kid, butter her up and now that I think of it, she didn’t even say hello to her! So I constantly kept her looking at the TV and each time I looked at the hair dresser, she was so annoyed! For what reason. I have no idea. We were pleasant customers and despite her attitude we kept uppity for my daughter and her first experience… We weren’t going to let this persons bad attitude ruin her first haircut. I understand if you have a bad day, you are dealing with personal problems, but don’t work in a children establishment with such a shit attitude and no concept of customer service. My husband is so easy going and always gives a place a second try but walking out last night… He looked at me and said«we will never go there again.» I didn’t even have to vent to him… He was on the same page. I wish I knew her name but of course she was the only employee without a name tag… I wonder why.

This is the worst Cool Cuts I’ve ever been too. It’s run down and the employee had no customer service skills whatsoever. The car my daughter got in was full of hair. She had hair on her dress before she even got her haircut. The lady cutting daughters hair took a long time. She kept stopping every time my daughter moved. That’s why I use Cool Cuts because normally they are use to kids moving. This is my first and last time here. What a disappointment!

I have been coming to this place for last 6 years. It was great in the beginning but gradually, they are losing their quality service. Especially, Diane, the stylist is very rude. She always cuts my daughter’s hairs since she is born but last two time, she did the worst job. Now I am so turned off by them that I don’t want to go and didn’t recommend to anyone to go to this place.

I will admit, this WAS my go-to place for my son, but now I will just remember the good memories like my son’s first haircut. Went on Monday when it is usually slow, signed in, and took my kids to the play area. The train table was in bad shape, the entire section looked run down and no up keep(keep in mind the place of business). Then the ladies completely skipped my son which I didn’t allow it to get to me but just sat back down. Then my son was called and the lady was very polite and have nothing bad to say other than being skipped. She cut my son’s hair(he has very curly hair) ShE went ahead and styled it, keeping in mind that I WILL have to re-create it. So after a trim I paid $ 22!!! Yes, $ 22FOR A TRIM! To make matters worst, my son’s hair after it dried it looked completely off! I was very disappointed and I think this is my last time here. Better start looking on Unilocal for a new place. :(

If you have a child that hates going for a haircut, this is the place for you!!! My son cried and screamed every time i got his haircut(for 5 years!!!), and now he begs me to take him to get his haircut! they let the child pick a dvd to watch or a game to play, and they have xbox 360’s, enough said!
