Been going here since I was a boy and they opened. The freezes are awesome, the custard is creamy and delicious, and I’ve NEVER had a disappointing experience here.

Their custard is amazing! I love to try something different every time I go there but my all time favorite would probably be the strawanna. I’ve been going years and it never disappoints! However, throughout the years I’ve been waiting longer and longer because of slow costumer service, so be prepared to wait about 15 minutes in the drive thru line.

Great custard! Use the Unilocal check-​in coupon. Make sure you make yourself comfy in the drive thru, it takes more than a while to get through. I’ve been here a bunch and each time it’s a plus 15min wait even though you’re only the 3rd car in line.
Strawberry cheesecake concrete is the best
Texas tornado is actually disappointing, the melted chocolate chips are a little off putting. Slightly burnt flavor. Even though this one is a miss, I will be going back for the good ol regular.

Nice frozen custard, rich creamy texture, you can definitely tell it’s not just a bunch of frozen water and sugar.
Got the Banana split and the pecans in top was warm and crispy, complementing the cool soft texture of the custard. Whipped cream on top just brought it all together.

Found out the best combination, chocolate custard with peanut butter sauce, & bananas!!! Mmmm best ever!!! I love this place, its so much better than any ice cream
Ok so I went back & unfortunately they don’t wear name tags here so I can’t be specific, but the girl with long curly hair is so rude!!! She took my order & I was bringing some back for my little cousins, so it was a lot, & then I had to repeat it all so she could actually write it down. I gave her my coupon & she actually laughed & walked away! She never came back someone else had to finish our order. Then I got home & half of it wrong! She wrote it down, how did she get everything wrong? So taking a star off for crappy service.

My boyfriend brought me here for my first Connie’s custard experience and I LOVED it! I ordered a vanilla concrete with oreos. The medium size was more than enough for me. The flavor is amazing and I love the thicker consistency and smoother texture over traditional ice cream. I will definitely be back!

Anytime I am near 290, I try to use it as an excuse to stop by this place. I haven’t had anything I haven’t loved. My usual is a chocolate custard — it’s so rich, it’s more than it even looks like — or a concrete (sort of like a Blizzard) of any type.

Wanted to try this place out because of its reviews and because I was around that area. Went to the drive through and order a strawberry cheesecake and a caramel pretzel one, both regular. We also used the Unilocal discount which was pretty neat. Custards came very quickly and the size was pretty big for a regular which is awesome. Both custards were tasty. Love this place. C:

— large and satisfying portion (I ate a third of mine and couldn’t finish the rest. saved it for the next day!)

— no indoor seating, only outdoor
— line can get SUPER long during busy hours
It’s a dangerous place here. The custard is addicting, but lots of calories! Come here if it’s your day to splurge on your diet :)

I didn’t have a good experience like everyone else did. I went on a Sunday night around 9:15 pm. I saw a huge line for the drive thru and thought, «this must be food!»
I asked and paid for a large concrete, but got a small. When I mentioned the buy 1, get 1 half off I had to show it. It just said to mention it and so did most of the tips and reviews.
When I got my marshmallow concrete, I had trouble finding the marshmallows. It just seemed like a vanilla concrete.
I prefer Ritters.

Solid. Damnit I didn’t check in so I forgot about mentioning the bogo half off. Bloop. So I got my small concrete and added whatever I wanted. Literally so many toppings in there that they gave me a large cup for putting in so much. Strawberries, peanut butter cups, Oreo, caramel, cookie doe, and I bet other randoms. It reminds me of mcflurry or those sundaes from McDonald’s. It’s so good and fully loaded. You can share a small easy cuz it’s so heavy and packed. You order outside and can sit on the few benches out there.

There is a little bench outside on which to eat your delicacy, rather than eat it in your car and have it gone by the time you get home. Trust me, that will happen.
For those of you who have a hard time exiting Connie’s, and see that it is almost impossible to go north on Jones: Take a right on that street next to Connie’s. It will take you to Regency Green, which has a light.
Connie’s has been around for a long time. They employ a lot of local teenagers, all are very nice, smiling faces.
I love their concretes. Sadly, they no longer offer fresh blueberries. Fine. Give me the chocolate chip cookie dough then.

I was craving some icecream and stopped by, they sure satisfied my craving! I had the brownie sundae (5⁄5) and it was soo good. It was a big warm soft brownie top with two scoop of vanilla custard and chocolate fudge mmMm. Yummy. I also had the strawberry cheesecake concrete custard (4⁄5) and it was also good. The staff was also nice! Thumbs up
