Clock Country

The best clock service there is. I’ve been using Steve since the 1990’s to keep my grandfather clock clean and running well. He has moved it for me 4 times, with great care. Very knowledgeable! Great guy to do business with!

I have an old German Depression Era clock that was in need of repair. I finally got the nerve to take it off the wall and have it looked at. I took it into Clock Country and had Steve look at it. Steve starts taking it apart piece by piece. As he does he is giving me complete history on the clock and each part he is taking out. Meanwhile I am wondering if he can put it back together. Looking around his shop I see all these beautiful vintage clocks for repair. Mine is by far the least expensive in the place. I am not worried. Now that he has about half the clock apart in about 5 minutes he starts pointing out all the things that are wrong. He gives me detailed information on what needs to be done. Steve tells me it will be a while and I realize that you can’t rush this stuff; after all the clock has been needing repairs for 25 years and I was in no rush. I get the call to pick up my baby. Yes, that is what it feels like. I take it home, put it back on the wall and wind it. «Set it and forget it». Clock is running perfect.
