This place dont deserve a ½ of a star… I’m finally free of this hell hole. I lived here for 5 years and the 1^st manager ms. Cindy was bitch but onve she got to know us she was pretty cool, I loved my apartment, my neighbors were quiet, no parking drama, it was a great location to our jobs and right across from the mall. Then it gradually went down hill. Break-​ins was on the rise, every other week we were getting a notice about a break in or robbery then a home invasion happened to our neighbors while security was «watching tv» in another tenants house. Then the parking wars started until finally mgmt started charging for parking but still towed people who paid. Luckily we didn’t have that drama but we know many who did and moved out. Every lease renewal you get complimentary carpet cleaning however the carpet never looked clean so we finally asked managment to replace it and they did with tile however they attempted to raise the rent because of the tile. And tried to stop me from renewing my lease early the next year. Then AC/​heating issues every year in the summer the air didnt work and in the winter the heat didn’t work so every seasonal change we had to call maintenance to fix it finally my husband Checked it out only to find out they were just unplugging the wires to the unit and not fixing the problem. One maintenance guy told me i needed a new compressor and I had mold in the venting area. They never cleaned the mold but it took over a year and complaint to the Serena villa corporate office for them to fix it correctly. That’s when I met the current manager Nelda, who I believe is a bit racist. I put in a work order for a AC filter and came home to find my TV on telemundo, a half eaten sandwich on my counter and a huge butt print in my couch. I immediately called the office to report and told them i didnt want anyone in my home with out me being there. They agreed until the infamous 1 year bathroom leak. Which they kept fixing and it kept leaking. Then in march of 2015 our neighbors was having issues with the front office. Unaware of what exactly was going on my husband went to ask the manager when they where comming to fix the leak. Ms. nelda then became rude and nasty and threw accusations of him being loud and foul mouth. He saw through her plan to upset him and walked away. We later found out the neighbor had cussed and threatened them and they had him forcibly removed from the property claiming to fell threated by him and she was trying to do the same thing with my husband. When that didn’t work The sent out a notice saying they don’t want us to renew our lease… not surprised but all the blk people were moving out and the Hispanics were moving In having parties with tents and space walks and no problems all into the wee hours when a blk family did this they sent security to shut the party down after 1hr. Did I tell you apt 726 is haunted there was never a tenant who would stay their whole lease in that apartment. And to think that was actually supposed to be ours but there was a key mix up so we ended up next door for 5 years. I told them about the bats that live in building 9 for years but at dusk and dawn you can see them by the bus stop. I was ready to move. Anyone who ever lived here know how rude Teresa was but this last manager nelda is worst The accountant who is blk always looks like she want to help you but can’t talk to save her job. Like I said I would never tell any one to live here unless they have nowhere else but a shelter or bridge is better… IJS
