CiCi’s Pizza

Just a greasy free-​for-​all! I did it for the kids, not for my own gratification. My kids all ate well (which they normally don’t, so that was good). They have some tasty stuff, and some that just does not look appetizing — but that depends on the eye of the beholder.
They have a new stuffed crust pepperoni pizza on the buffet which was actually quite tasty. My kids are big cheese pizza fans, and were satisfied with the cheese pizza and the cheese bread.
For dessert, they have some yummy sweet rolls and dessert pizzas.
It was okay for a pizza buffet.

This place is disgusting. I told my friends at work I didn’t want to eat there because bad parents are always letting their kids go grab their own pizza and I see kids coughing on the pizza and it still gets served. We went there anyways and no kidding-​I SAW A LITTLE GIRL SNEEZE ALL OVER THE PIZZA!!! I could not make this crap up. At that moment I knew I would never return.
Value: wouldn’t eat it for free
Service: stand in line and self serve
Atmosphere: noisy, loud, and too bright.

My family and I love this Cici’s Pizza and eat here often. It is very clean and the staff that comes by and picks up the plates are very good at their job! My favorite items are the pasta salad, the pasta with the white alfredo sauce, the Mac & Cheese pizza, the Bavarian Dessert, and the Spinach Alfredo pizza!
Sometimes the pasta salad (the cold pasta in the salad section) tastes weird. On some weeks it tastes amazing but other weeks I think they incorrectly prepare the dressing that goes on it or something. But this only happens with the pasta salad, everything else on the buffet always tastes amazing.

Stuffed crust pizza not available to Muslims because it’s not available with anything but pork pepperoni.
The manager tells me that it is a company policy to have any type of pizza available for take out with stuff crust but if you want to eat in buffet, you must eat it with pork even if it is against your religion to eat pork.
I THINK THIS IS A VERY PREJUDICE POLICY AND I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY CICIS AGAIN.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ASK THE MUSLIM PUBLIC TO BOYCOTT CICI’S UNTIL THIS PREJUDICE POLICY IS CHANGED.
I had always enjoyed coming to CICIS until tonight. I was very disappointed. I will not come to CICI’S again.

I can now say that this is the best Cici’s Pizza location that I’ve ever visited. In my last review, I enjoyed the fresh ingredients of the salad bar with the exception of the bagged taste of the lettuce. So this time, I called ahead to see if they would soak some lettuce for me to remove the bagged taste. An employee (Ryan) said he would do that for me. Although this location is not the closest CiCi’s, I was impressed that someone would do this for me. When I arrived, the gentleman gave me a to go container full of rinsed lettuce. I added the other fresh ingredients and I had a wonderful salad without the bad tasting lettuce. Accommodating the customer and service above and beyond what is expected earned them the fifth star.
On this trip, I tried the chicken wings. I asked them to make them extra crispy. While I certainly enjoy deep fried wings more, these were certainly a suitable alternative and probably more healthy. Overall, I am completely satisfied where the food quality and the service that I received. They obviously have please other Unilocal users with their 4 star average rating and this place is not one to be overlooked. Definitely worth the extra 10 minute drive.

Great food and wonderful service. Manager Curtis was awesome All staff was helpful. The buffet was continually replenished with fresh hot pizza.

The best Cici’s you’ll ever go to. It’s still just Cici’s, but this one is the best of the best for that brand.

This location was clean and that’s a plus for me and will definitely recomend and go back again!
Friendly staff and plenty of different pizzas to chose from! All pizzas were delicious & fresh.
Salad bar was full but all veggies were sad looking, but after all, not many people go there for the salads LOL

Normally don’t write these but I found a good size hair in my food today. I ordered a custom pizza and when I’d bite it the cheese and all comes off.

It’s funny, I came here just now to write a poor review on this place, but lo and behold, before I could get midway through, they’ve completely changed my mind. TLDR; empty buffet was filled up in under 10 minutes and stayed filled, fresh pizza yum.
This is our go to CiCi’s, it is further from our house than 2 others, but I like the owner (he has helped us with fundraisers), and I like the facility. Sunday was not all that great of an evening when we came in there, but the owner (I sure wish I knew his name) did an excellent job of turning the whole experience around.
When we first arrived there, they had just gotten slammed, I could only assume. The buffet was bare, minus salad and dessert and some bread sticks. This is when I pulled out the phone to start the review. Toddler screaming because he’s hungry, wife frustrated because kid is screaming, and I’m feeling helpless. I inquire about how long until a pizza is on the buffet and mid-​sentence a mac and cheese pizza is popped out in front of me, and the noodles tray is filled to the brim. This was enough to appease my children.
Once I hit the table with the food, I hear them call out that more pizza has hit the buffet. Spinach and BBQ, our 2 favorites. We snatch some up and by the time we’ve eaten our few slices, I go for another buffet pass, the entire buffet was filled with pizza. This is probably 10 minutes after I had just been up there and there was nothing. This is where the visit went from 1 star to 5 stars. I was astounded by how quickly they had been able to recover after it looked like a waste of a visit.
Be forewarned, if you are like I am, where you order a ‘specialty’ large pizza to your table, they no longer do that. They have a new system; anything that isn’t a regular to the buffet (cheese, pepp, bbq, mac n cheese, supreme, etc) can be ordered. It also doesn’t come as a large 10″ pizza but rather a 6″ pan pizza, and I have to say, the crust on the personal pizzas was well above the normal pizza.

You see CiCi’s is a hit or miss. You have half the human population who absolutely loves this place, and then you have the other half who hates it like no other (But why). I for one love CiCi’s to death. 4 stars easy! I have been coming here since Middle school? And I have never had problem with this place. Until now. I have actually been to this location many times! This has always been one of the better CiCi’s I have been to.
However, it’s been awhile. And in that time frame this place has changed drastically. It was just 6 of us on a hot humid Houston night. Came in and there was a fairly awesome greet who seemed enthusiastic and gave off a pleasant vibe. I believe her name was Carla (Karla?). So I suspected nothing wrong. On the line there was HARDLY any pizzas, but I didn’t mind because we special order our pizzas anyways. 5 of us special ordered our own pizzas. We waited and waited. 20 minutes passed and we still haven’t seen our pizzas but we decided to give it more time because since we ordered 5 it might take a little longer than usual. Went up for pasta and there was no more. We joked with one of the employee’s and asked when there was going to be more pasta. The employee (Who’s name will not be mentioned) told us they were done making them tonight. «Wait what?» my brother in law questioned. What do you mean you guys aren’t making anymore? The employee whispered and says the boss that is in was only makes a certain amount and when that amount is done he stops. The employee claimed if the manager was in however, it would be a different story and he would make sure pasta was continuously coming. Bravo to the manager, but to the boss man, Jay… I believe he is trying to maximize profit by not wasting food, but man this is a BUFFET. You definitely cannot be doing that.
We asked to speak to the boss immediately, and he reassured us there was more coming in the oven. A little later from our table we saw him come from the back with a tub of noodles… Oh, it’s in the oven right… 45 minutes now and we STILL do not have our pizzas. My brother in law went up and asked what was going on, and they scrambled frantically. Where they make the pizzas you could see 5 tickets hanging. They didn’t even start working on it. #Embarrassing. After 1 hour and 5 minutes the pizzas came out. But this was a new feature I have never seen, personal pan sized pizzas instead of the medium sized pizzas on the line. What the heck. So disappointing! It literally is the size of 3 slices of pizzas from the line. We devoured the pizzas and left in a lost of appetite.
In the end, this was by far the worse CiCi’s experience I have ever encountered. And I believe it all comes back to the boss man. First, cheaping out on pasta. Secondly, he should have his kitchen staff on check. Making sure pizzas are fresh on the line, making sure they are completing all the tickets in a timely manner, etc.

Pretty decent location in the chain. They’re friendly and quick with keeping the pizza and food fresh. Also doesn’t get as noisy as other locations with better behaved kids. That alone puts them at the top of the list for cheap pizza eats.

My husband and I have been a few times. Today we took the baby for the first time and she loved it. She is learning how to eat solid foods and they have a good variety of things she can eat from the salad bar such as cherry tomatoes, plain noodles, and carrot sticks. She enjoys making a huge mess by slapping her plate and eating the table, so I was glad that I did not have to clean up after her today. We ate pizza and even though they were out of soup they kept the pizza coming and really that’s all we could ask for. If you want quality pizza you are going to have to go somewhere else, but if you want a good quantity of pizza and let the little person learn to eat solids without having to clean the entire kitchen after then this is a good place to relax. Oh and they have tv… in case that’s a bonus.

Food is ok for buffet style pizza. Good deal for the money

They ALWAYS get it right. The moment you walk in you are greeted and given nothing but the best customer service. My family is here constantly! Everyone is thanked for coming by! They are great about clearing your table, and meeting food requests. Try the brownies and Mac-​and-​cheese pizza it’s to die for!
Also, the place is super clean. I love love love that! The only other one I have been to is the one on FM1960, and let’s just say it is the complete opposite of this! ick!

Fairly new very clean location. It’s a Ci Ci’s so yes there’s better pizza in the world but for the price how can one complain?
Always well stocked and very quick pizza rotation on the buffet. You are asked at checkout what you might want on the buffet and if it isn’t already there they will make it for you.
At this location next to the pasta there was a pot of chicken noodle soup which husband said was tasty. I and the 6 year old had the pasta with the Alfredo sauce.
All the pizza was hot and fresh and tasty. Staff was good. It wasn’t busy so they were a little slow busing tables but there were plenty clean ones to sit at so no biggie. Nothing to complain about here.
