I scheduled an appointment with dong for 6 pm. Wen I arrived at the salon He was already with a customer at that time. Kept me waiting till 6:40 n then wen i see him help another customer I walked up to him to ask n his reply was that he forgot that my appointment was scheduled. N then tells me to wait for for some time n after waiting for 10 minutes he tells me that there are 2 more people whom he will be helping before me.

Ask for Tina! She’s great! She’s off on Tuesdays so don’t go on a Tuesday! I’m very particular about my hair and super picky, so my standards for hair is above and beyond. Take my word for it and ask for Tina. She has been my go to person for hair advice and hair products! She also can do eyebrow waxes. I’ve had that done, bang trims, haircuts (layering and even a bob style), shampooing, hi-​light treatment, and a perm, all done by the same person. I highly recommend this salon. Even though it looks quite run down, this salon is not bad. Pricing is great too. It’s not crazy expensive and don’t forget to leave a tip if you’re happy with the service! It’s spacious and has tons of seating areas as well.

Ok, should be zero stars, I went here due to all the Unilocal praise, asked for Lisa and unfortunately my experience was not the same as theirs. I asked for one hairstyle and wound up being talked into something totally different: «it will make you look young», «The other not look good on you», «It will look ugly like you got out of bed» so rather than an asymmetrical long bob I wound up with a short layered mullet. Now this does look ugly. My hair is naturally thick and wavy, it was down to the middle of my back, with long layers, and has cowlicks all of which she kept pointing out and I kept saying I do not want to flat iron it everyday, and she said ‘no I just flat iron to see how layers are, it will look good curly”, and now it has to be flat ironed or it looks like a frizzy short man’s hair, and flat ironed looks just like a mullet with the back strings reaching right below my shirt collar, with sticks standing up all over and it is choppy and uneven and the «bangs» keep stabbing my eyes. I had to ask her to please stop cutting, and thinning before I had no hair at all. Oh and It was all done dry, no shampoo, she said she didn’t feel like shampooing it. There were alot of men getting $ 6 haircuts, no women, which should have made me reconsider but I kept saying the Unilocalers say at least 4 stars… Have you ever had a haircut where people try to act like they do not know you got a haircut because it looks so bad there are no words to say? That is this hair, today, the one thing they say when I say «what do you think?» is «it will grow». $ 30.

I asked for Lisa like all the other Unilocalers suggested and she turned out wonderful! She listened to me carefully and did exactly as I stated. She did not take much of a risk on my hair cause she wanted to make sure it came out right. I came in with pitch black hair done by box coloring and she took her time to correct it to my natural hair color. I will surely be coming back. I paid $ 100.00 with tip for hair-​correcting/​color and haircut. I guess the price is decent being I have very thick hair.

First impression was «oh, not too fancy»… As I had gone to Visable changes in the Sugar Land mall — all fancy fancy!!! But let me tell you this was the BEST experience I have had in a long long time. Lisa is my gal, she LISTENS to what I want before she does anything. Color, highlights, cut… She aims to make you happy. And it’s a one stop place — at the mall you tip your hostess, tip your colorist, tip your shampoo man or woman, tip your stylist… Etc. here you have the undivided attention of one professional! Thank you, thank you, thank you LISA for helping me look my best!!!

Bich (pronounced as Bic) is the most dedicated hair stylist at this location. Unlike the other staff members, she speaks fluent English. She has many regulars that keep coming back from out of town just for her work. She does unisex haircuts, perms, highlights, and eyebrow waxing. I always go to her every time I go there, and there is never a disappointment!

I’d request for Lisa if I were you. She is the best and most knowledgable there. This is no secret as you’ll notice that she’s ALWAYS busy while the others are just sitting there chilling. You’ll have to make an appointment, but Sundays won’t work since that’s her day off. She’s good at pretty much everything — waxing, nails, hair cuts, hair color. You name it, she’s great at it!
There was a time I decided to venture out and try another stylist. BIG mistake. Don’t do it or you’ll regret it. A lot. There’s a specific lady I have in mind that ALWAYS messes up people’s hair but I don’t know her hame.
