Absolutely the worst customer service and communication I have seen. Company rep was late for the meeting to look at the landscaping and resod project. Scheduled the project for the following Saturday. Company failed to show and I wasted entire Saturday waiting on them with intermittent vague text messages from them during the day saying they were in process of obtaining the grass, would be there soon, etc. Bottom line is I wasted my Saturday. They rescheduled for weeks later for 8AM. I took off from work to meet them. By 11 o’clock they had not shown up and I canceled the job. There are too many other alternatives in Houston to deal with the extraordinarily poor communication and reliability. I agree with all the comments regarding phone messages and returning calls and scheduling matters that are reflected in the prior reviews. Why do they bother running«deals» on Amazon Local. They seem incapable of performing. If there was a zero star rating that is what I would give them.

I bought an Amazon local coupon for 50% of pallet of sod on 5⁄19. Successfully called the number and set up 6⁄2 for the work to be done. No one ever called back a day or two before to confirm, and today no one showed up. The 832 – 4387496 number goes directly to a voicemail box that is full and not taking any messages. The 281−747−6465 number goes to a voicemail box for Humble Kingwood Lawns. I have left 4 messages with no call backs. Amazon is refunding my money, but I have no idea why a local business would go through the trouble of going to Amazon local just to never interact with customers or do the work. Oh well. Lots of other yard guys/contractors around Houston to do the work.

I saw this business on Unilocal and saw how high they were rated, plus they accepted credit card payments, so I thought it was worth a shot… I thought wrong. First, I called the number listed on their website. A guy answers and tells me that he is off today, but I could put in a contact request via the website. I thought that was kinda shabby, but hey, maybe thats just their business model. He stated that someone would be contacting me within 24 hours. One day passed, then two, then a week. I had actually given up, but then they called me 2 weeks later. We finally setup a time for them to come by the property this morning, and he stated that someone would call me 30 min prior. So I took time off of work to be available to meet them. After waiting a couple of hours and no show, I called the number. No answer. I left a voicemail asking for someone to call me with an ETA. Finally after waiting until 11am, I finally gave up. Then around noon, a guy calls me to confirm a time between 12−1pm. I told them that we already had a time arranged for that morning and no one returned my earlier call. I then informed them that due to the issues I have had thus far, I would going a different direction to tend to my lawn needs. I told him that if I am getting this level of customer service and you guys haven’t even earned my business yet, I cant imagine how things will be afterwards. The guy repeatedly apologized and asked if he could have another chance to earn my business and offered to give me the first service for free. Against my better judgement, I agreed. He then asked me to text my address to him. I thought this was weird considering that I filled out the contact us form on the site and gave my address at that time. Here is the final punchline… After I resent him the address, he replies, «We don’t service that area». Are you freaking kidding me? The website says Houston and surrounding areas. I am IN Houston. I am not sure how these guys have the overall rating that they have. I can assume that if they actually show up, they do good work, I guess I will never know.
