I have been looking for a specific necklace for a while. I went to several other stores and could never find exactly what I was looking for. When I stopped at Charming Charlie on a Saturday afternoon, I was glad to see that it was too crowded. The jewelry is arranged by color, so that made it very easy for me to narrow my search for a silver necklace. The one I found was beautiful, and the right price($ 10). My excitement faded fast when I saw that it was going to be too long. A sales associate, Kimberly, noticed that I kept looking at the necklace and asked if I needed help. I explained to her that I needed that particular necklace, but it was too long. She offered to shorten it for me by taking out some of the links. I didn’t know they did that! I was so happy. Kimberly worked on that necklace until I was satisfied with the length. She kept smiling, and was always polite. Listen up people… this is how customers should be treated. She never made me feel like I was a bother to her. I had so much of the necklace removed, I was able to purchase a clasp and make a bracelet to go with it. Talk about winning! I was definitely a satisfied customer. In addition to jewelry, this store has dresses, purses, wallets, sunglasses and other items too. I had to hurry up and get out of here because I was about to go on a spending spree. What I like about the jewelry is that it’s absolutely beautiful. Very stylish, and you can find a necklace, bracelet or rings to go with the outfit of your choice. This store is very clean and organized. This brings peace of mind to a convenience shopper like myself. It’s also located in Meyerland Plaza which is well lit and has plenty of parking in front of the store. I’m sure if you are looking for some jewelry for either casual or dressy, you can find what you’re looking for right here at Charming Charlie.

Like the previous reviewer Roxane, I, too, have been a frequent shopper at Charming Charlie since they first opened their Harwin store. I was really excited when the Meyerland location opened up because it’s much closer to my home. The items are of a similar quality to what you will find at other jewelry stores in the Harwin area, although prices are typically a couple of dollars higher. That is fine with me considering these stores are very clean and well organized, and the products are arranged by color. So, for example, if you know you need a purple necklace to go with a purple dress, you can head straight to the purple section of the store rather than having to search up and down every aisle for the right shade. On top of that, Charming Charlie has several displays throughout the store to help inspire customers on how to mix-and-max their pieces. They sell cute bags, tops, dresses, and scarves, too(similar look and quality to what you might find at Francesca’s), so their selection isn’t limited to just jewelry. Finally, their employees are actually are really friendly and helpful if you are looking for something in particular, compared with Harwin jewelry store employees who seem to be there for the sole purpose of ringing up your purchase. Anyway, I have stopped in here several times now for a quick gift or just to browse and I have always found something I like at a good price. On the day before my wedding, my gorgeous antique(real) pearl bracelet broke and I didn’t have time to get it restrung before The Big Day. Charming Charlie was the first place I stopped when looking for a replacement and thankfully they had a surprisingly authentic-looking pearl bracelet here for under $ 10. I highly doubt any of my guests could tell the difference. And just last week Charming Charlie had a buy-one-get-one-free deal on their clearance items, and I was able to cop a neat gold-tone hammered cocktail ring and a 4-count of gold-tone midi rings for under $ 7 including tax. Cool!

I have been a customer of Charming Charlie since their very first location on Harwin. I was very excited to see the changes in their marketing strategy when the new boutique opened in Meyerland. I recently purchased a handbag for a particular event. When I got home with the item the color was not a good match. I took it back to the store this morning to return the item. The sales clerk bossed me around in a very aggressive manner, then complained because I was the second customer to come in and return something that morning. A second employee came in and she proceeded to complain to him about my bringing the item back first thing in the morning. I was extremely disappointed in her behavior. I will do her a favor and stop shopping there so that I don’t have to disturb her day. Shame on your employees Charlie!
