Very nice Italian restaurant for a date night, A little pricy but great food. I tend to love appetizers and desserts, and here is no exception. I love the fried calimati especially. They do a great job with takeout and you can order online,

Outstanding. We were blown away tonight. It all started with the dinner salad. They made one the old way I like it, before they changed it. Then came the fried zucchini that has just returned to their menu. For the entrée, an unbelievable veal chop the cut like butter and melted in my mouth. Even the house Cabernet was just right; and it was happy hour so there was a little extra wine. If this sounds too good to be true, it wasn’t. It was the best meal I have ever had at any Carrabba’s. And BTW, our waitress was great.

The food is always good. The waiter’s are nice. My problem here is the waiting for a table. That isn’t even it. The problem is they have the waiters doing the cleaning of the tables. THAT takes them away from the customers. It was crazy busy & when we finally sat down notice a ton of tables dirty & the bar area. We watched it took them over 10 min. — 15 min. to get to them & clean them. If they had a busboy that wouldn’t happen & you can serve more people faster. Some people left because they didn’t want to wait. I don’t blame them, I hate waiting a long time too. My advice to them is go to Saltgrass & see how they work. They know how to get it done. Watch & learn. We still go here, but we won’t be waiting like we did this last time. was on 2÷20÷16 @ 7:07 pm.

Celebrated a birthday here last night. Ordered the Tuscany Filet with Marsala sauce. Just out of this world… It was prepared to a tee and as excellent as any steakhouse I’ve been to.

LOVE the steak with Marsala sauce! Awesome service! So nice that the call or book ahead service is now available. Now we don’t wait long for a table! Perfect place for date night!

We love this Carrabba’s! We’ve been going here for years. I think the true measure of any business is how consistent the customer experience is kept upon each visit. I can definitely say this location does a terrific job at always meeting our expectations. The food, service and atmosphere are always excellent! Great job guys!

Horrible. Salt is the only seasoning I could detect on the food. I had what they called lasagna. Stouffer’s frozen lasagna is better. An appetizer of fried calamari(of course — what other appetizer would you expect) was a pale sickly color tasting even more salty than the rest of the food. Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola should be ashamed of themselves, but the tens of millions they got from Outback probably helped salve their pride. Terrible. I didn’t expect greatness, but it was just about inedible. The service was poor. The appetizers came at different times, and the waitress seemed to think it was acceptable to pass the plates around the table. She didn’t remember a glass of wine someone ordered. The tables are crowded together and the place is very loud. Go the Wendy’s next door. It will be better and a lot cheaper.

Carrabba’s is fine. It’s a chain Italian restaurant so there’s nothing too special about it. This location can get very busy on the weekends. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table for 6. They don’t seem to have a lot of large tables. The food is decent. I wish they had a more diverse kid’s menu. If I take my kids to an Italian restaurant, I want them to eat Italian, but all the could order is spaghetti with meatball(that’s one meatball), cheese ravioli or a small pizza. I had the special where you get a portion of the lasagna and a portion of the chicken parm. I was not impressed with the chicken parm. It was very small and kind of bland. The lasagna was good though. The wait staff was very friendly but there were times we lost track of our waitress and had to wait on refills or more bread. I think the food here is a little overpriced for what it is, but it’s a descent family restaurant.

Took my wife here for a nice dinner. The staff was great. The host took us to our table, waiter was great, the manager(I think) was concerned about me not liking the Bruchetta. may I add it was my fault since I don’t like pesto, but they still took the charge off my bill. The food was the issue, I ordered the Sirloin Marsala, the steak was GREAT, the side of Asparagus was not. It was cold and I’m not sure that it had any seasoning at all. I would give them another shot based on the serving staff.

I have been coming to this Carabbas since Middle School and it is still one of my favorite Italian Restaurants around. Inviting atmosphere and great service. Great for a casual lunch or an elegant date night!

Although we had not been impressed in the past, decided to give carrabbas a try again since Italianos had an hour wait. We had the Chicken Parm, which was okay and the Chicken Bryan, which was actually pretty tasty. However, both were really overpriced for the portion size. It did not help that each dish came on a huge white plate, making the entrees feeble looking. Our daughter ordered the bruschetta, which came in a jar for her to make herself-odd. The ingredients were fresh tasting, but the pesto to mozzarella to tomato ratio was off as the pesto tripled the other ingredients. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but we won’t be going back. It’s not necessarily the food itself, but considering how proud they are of the food in regards to price, much rather go somewhere else, even if we have to wait.

I’ve never had a dish that I didn’t love at Carrabba’s. I could eat the Chicken Bryan every day for the rest of my life. The thing I like about Carrabba’s is that it’s not your typical Italian restaurant. They have grilled chicken, steaks and fish that are out of this world, as well as the homemade pastas we enjoy.

Where to begin… Décor: Like an old Steak and Ale before they went bankrupt. Dark, grim, lifeless. It «felt» dirty. Waitstaff: Apathetic. Clueless. Never asked if we needed anything. When the waiter brought a glass of wine, he left the empty glass on the table. He did that twice… I had to tell him twice to remove the empty glass. Food: Simply awful. Bread was not hot at all. He might as well have put a slice of Sunbeam bread on a plate. I asked for the INSALATAFIORUCCI(mixed field greens tossed with artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, grilled eggplant and a hazelnut goat cheese medallion.) It’s not on the menu but they serve it at other locations. The waiter had never heard of it. He went to ask the kitchen and they said, they could make it. Uh, not so much. The eggplant was under cooked, was ZERO goat cheese, maybe one artichoke heart and a few pepper slivers. This was bad cafeteria food. What an awful experience. Will never return here. Citizens of Kingwood, unite and rebel… you deserve so much better.

There is no option for no stars. Spinach was inedible so salty. Chicken so tough and tiny portion for $ 16.99. Chains are stupid. No passion. No caring.

My friend and I went here for some early dinner tonight, or so we thought. He has been at this restaurant numerous times while this was my first visit. We decided to sit at the bar, as we didn’t want a huge dinner, just a bite and a drink. To make my review short, this was the very first time ever I got up at a restaurant and just walked out. We sat there for 5 min before being acknowledged. Then one of the two beekeepers kept asking if anybody needed anything … well, he asked everybody except us. Then we finally got to order at least drinks, which took a full 10 min to make. Again, everybody was served, people arriving and sitting down after us included, while we just day there. This was one of the most horrible dining experiences I had in a very long time. I will not return here.

I love Carrabba’s, it’s my favorite chain Italian restaurant but this location was just a bust! This was my second time at the Kingwood location because my mom was craving it but it will probably be my last. When we entered the doors, the host was very accommodating and seated us right away but I was a little thrown off because it was so dark in the dining area. He gave us our menus and my mom had to bust out with her cell phone flash light because she couldn’t read the menu, and you bet I was also hovering over her in order to read as well. Then our server came, he was nice but he only offered to give us additional lighting from small lit candles on his 3rd time back to our table, which helped a little but could’ve been faster. We started off with the calamari as an appetizer and it was surprisingly quick, like 5 – 7 minutes quick so that was cool until I took a bite of it… super super salty! All I can taste is the salt, so disappointing. Ehhh, so I had to use the restroom to freshen up then when I was walking to the restroom I realized the lighting of the bar section was significantly brighter, I thought to myself, wh0a this is how it should be in the main dining area. Usually bars have that dim vibe lighting but it seemed to be reversed here and in my opinion it should be the other way around because in the main dining area it’s mostly family with kids having dinner. Well the rest of the food came out pretty fast, I got the special lobster ravioli and it was just okay. Overall, I would prefer to go to the Champions location instead, this location did me wrong.

Pleasantly surprised! I always try mussels in white wine at most restaurants i visit, but this is the first time i had mussels that were cooked just right and the sauce was the perfect compliment. Seriously delicious!

My experience here gets better and better. The first time I came to this location it wasn’t even memorable, but we got paired with an awesome waitress, and the wait was not bad at all. We ordered the Johnny Combo consisting of the Steak Marsala and the Chicken Bryan. We also ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and our two appetizers were the Calamari and the Arancini. I couldn’t find anything extremely negative about any of it. The only thing I can say about the Lobster Mac and Cheese was that it was a little too spicy and it didn’t even mention that in the description. Other than that, the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare; the chicken Bryan went so well with the lobster butter sauce and the cheese. Out appetizers were great also. If you want a fancy Italian version of Boudin Balls, then look no further. Our dessert, I could have done without. We had the pannacotta and the raspberry topping was WAY too sweet. I definitely would come back though for the steak and the chicken and the Arancini!

I am disappointed, every time I go back it gets worst. The food tastes better at McDonalds. Two stars: One for good bread, and one for good olive oil deep.

The first few times my fiancé and I ate at this location, the service was very slow and the food did not taste as good when compared to the Bay Area location we ate at frequently. Expect a greater than 45 minute wait on a Friday or Saturday night. Our most recent visit was Thursday of last week, and there was no wait. Food was way better than before, and the service was quick. My favorite dish is the Steak Marsala with the pasta as a side. Tasty! Can’t go wrong with Carrabba’s if you’re in the mood for Italian.

I am increasing the stars to three. Service has gotten better, and we have been having a decent times here. it may not be the worst location anymore. I have been to many Carrabba’s and this is the worst location, unfortunately for me its also the closet. Service is slow, terrible, rude, argumentative to great, it just depends. Food quality is up and down, depending on how long it takes to get to the table. Long ticket times for us, with food generally warm and wilted by the time we get it. Managers have told me they know and are working on it, geez its been a year how much longer. We loved the copperfield store, weekly visits knew many people there, it just seemed like well run consistent store compared to kingwood. Italianos is much better quality, experience, and cost value, but have to drive a bit. j. christophers has priced themselves like Carrabba’s but dont come close to a well executed Carrabba’s dinner.

The service is always pretty good. Can get crowded on a Friday or Saturday night with long waits. The prices are reasonable. Chicken Marsala is a great dish. Followed by the John Kohl Dessert which is to die. I love there Pasta Damian, and Pasta Carraba as well. Curbside is ok, make sure to check your order before you leave(seems like common sense right:)

Carraba’s Italian Grill in Kingwood is now open for lunch! We had a team lunch there recently and were quite happy with the service and food. With a group of 20, they had their hands full, but we were in, got our food, enjoyed, and out the door in good time. In general, this location is not one of my favorites. I can’t put my finger on it, but I just don’t get a happy vibe here. For one thing, although the food tastes OK, I’m not as wowed by the flavors as I have been at other locations. Service is usually good, but the ambiance is more lacking here than in other locations as well. Finally, I went to their ladie’s room for the first time yesterday and all I could thing was«Get me out of here». Although nicely appointed, it had the overwhelming smell of urine. Add to that there was a mold colony growing in the toilet. This suggests that the bathroom is not cleaned well or frequently. I have to wonder about how well they clean in general. I don’t tell you«Don’t go there!», but I would not recommend it.

OHMYGODTHESERVICEISSOFREAKINGSLOW! On top of that, they got my order wrong. I happen to love the Carrabba’s minestrone soup, so I when I was having a craving I convinced the hubby to take me here for dinner one night. We hadn’t been to this location before, and we won’t be back. The service was VERY slow(Can’t say that enough times) and they got my order wrong. I specifically ordered a BOWL of soup. I was served a cup. Who orders just a cup of soup for dinner? Well, I ended up pouting and demanding the hubby take me out for dessert that night because I left the restaurant hungry.(I never make a fuss in a restaurant because I don’t like spit in my soup. I always suspect they do that if you send anything back.)
