My husband and i have lived in the area for years now and just finally tried Campioni last weekend. We were very impressed and will certainly be back. I had the lasagna, he had the chicken parmigian. They were both awesome. The portion size for me was generous(enough for lunch the next day) and the price was very reasonable. I’m sorry we waited so long to try this place. Very nice atmosphere, good service, great food.

We have been going since late 1980s — early 90s — and most of the time it is good. The last two weekends — both on Sat before the rush — 6 pm — were awful — pasta was tough, primavera was over cooked –veggies soggy and limp — with way too much oil — last weekend bread was ok, at least warm — tonight was terrible. Eggplant was tasteless and over cooked, buried under too much cheese — normally crunchy and melt in you mouth delicious — ziti was tough just like pasta last week — green beans were too salty and bread was cold — not going back.

Been years since I was here so tonight I took my boys for pizza. The new location is beautiful. As always the food and service were outstanding. I now live just down the street so I’ll be a regular again for sure!

This place is nice. Great space, good ambiance, and much better food than one of the(non-original) Carabba’s or any of the Italian chains. We had the snapper and Chicken Celia. Delightful.

Excellent Italian restaurant. Love the pizzas! Very best. Service is always good. Owners are always present and making sure the place is running smoothly. Great place that has been around forever. Will continue to come back.

So the house dressing was awesome, & I don’t even eat salad, but it was really good. Honestly it got my hopes up for the rest of the meal. I ordered baked ziti. $ 10.99 for a lunch portion? A pretty small lunch portion at that. It wasn’t baked, there was none of that yummy bubbly cheese that I look forward to when I order baked ziti. They probably put it in the microwave to melt the cheese. There was like no flavor. I don’t think the chicken wasn’t even salted. The sauce was ok, needed basil or garlic or something. Sad thing is a lot of the pastas sounded good on the menu, but I won’t be back here again cuz there just wasn’t much flavor.

We’ve been going to Campioni’s since we moved to Klein in the early 90s. Frankly we judge all pizza places by how it compare to Campioni’s. Our favorite is w cheese, mushrooms and Italian sausage. The mushrooms are fresh, not canned, and properly cooked(not undercooked). The sausage is just right spice wise and crumbled, not sliced. I really like the house salad, the dressing is yummy. We also like the chicken Romano, but it is so filling. When my wife comes w her friends for lunch she gets the chicken salad. The service is generally pretty good. They don’t take reservations for less than 8 but usually the wait is less than 20 minutes. They have a nice bar area to wait in too.

The pasta was well cooked and the sauce delicious. The pizza had just the right amount of toppings and crunch to the crust. We will be back.

Created my own pizza with artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms & olives. It was very good but a bit skimpy on the prosciutto! Fried calamari was really good! I will definitely go back and try something new! Owner is fantastic!!!

Their food taste like I could go buy it from the frozen food section at the grocery store. Waste of money. We judge a good Italian restaurant by its calamari and sauces. The Calamari was definitely from a frozen package. No flavor! We couldn’t finish our food it taste so bad. We decided to get cheesecake dessert to make it better, but that was frozen as well. No authenticity about it. Horrible Italian food. I’d rather go to Olive Garden and get American Italian food. Atmosphere was nice that gets a star but food was no good. Do not recommend it if you want good Italian food. Luigi’s Restaurant on Jones Rd near cypress north Houston or Italian café on Louetta/kuykendahl are so much more authentic. Go to those places if you want good Italian food.

The lasagna is good. The fettucine alfredo sauce taste like butter. I’m not sensitive to milk products but these dishes both gave me the runs.(TMIALERT) The fettucine alfredo had me limping in pain at HEB from the restroom, to the medicine aisle for gas relief medicine, to check out and finally back home. Be careful.

This is my favorite place in Houston. The food is incredible. It’s not your typical Italian restaurant, it is more like the type of Italian food you would get in Italy. The garlic bread is a must!!! It is the most amazing garlic bread you will have. We get 2 to 3 orders, yes it is that good.

Good food, tried the caesar salad and cannelloni. No problems with the staff, overall a great establishment. Yet it lacks something, my wife and I both felt that the experience was not good enough to say«We will be back!»… Maybe it has to do with the layout of the restaurant, the tables so close together(Which I don’t mind crowded restaurants at all) but all we heard was noise of constant blabbering from people. Maybe some music? All in all, I appreciate the attention to service and seeing Ric(the owner) hustle and bustle, just as much as any other employee let’s me know that he is a down to earth person. Maybe I just became annoyed at the clientele this place has attracted. Then again, it is in Champions. Good place to go grab a bite of good italian food«in this side of town» and GO! :)

Incredible service and a unique setting sets this Italian place apart. Highly recommend any of the pizzas if you get the chance. The service was friendly and fast. Right when my wife and I finished our salads our main course arrived. As others have said, the natural lighting is superb and memorable. I will definitely be revisiting this place in the future.

I cannot say enough about how great this place is! The food, service and view were all top notch. Our server was extremely kind and attentive; she asked if I wanted an adult beverage after my husband ordered a beer and I said«No thanks, I’m 4 months pregnant.» She said she couldn’t even tell, so that made my night! She kept my water glass full all night because she said she knew how important it was for pregnant women to stay hydrated :) We had salads(house and Greek, both amazing!) and hot bread with herb butter before our entrees arrived. My husband loved his penne with sausage and cream sauce; I will forever dream about how fantastic my Al Greco pizza was! We will DEFINITELY be back and will be telling all of our friends about this place!

I’ve been going here for years even before it changed locations. Everything taste amazing. Last time I came, I got the veal parmesan which was sooo good. My favorite things to order here by far though are the pizzas and artichokes :)

My husband and I love trying new places to eat! This place was recommended to us from friends who we just met. It’s their favorite place! Now, it’s my Favorite Italian place! They make a house salad dressing that is deliciously addicting! :-) The pasta dishes was made to perfection. Great customer service and the owner came to meet us! Very friendly man and truly cares about his customers! Our waitress was Monica and would love to have her serve us again!

One of my all time favorite Italian restaurants here in Houston. Its hard to find a non chain Italian place outside of the loop, and this place is PERFECT. Family owned and operated, the new location has tons of natural light and space. My all time favorite dish here is the Snapper. It is the BEST snapper I have ever had! Everything usually comes with a salad as well. Very fresh. I recommend the Calamari, its fried perfectly and love the lemon butter sauce it comes with!

First time at this new location — very good food & great service. We arrived at 11:05am — first customers — so we got a very nice booth by the window. Ordered Shrimp Asiago — very good. House salad, focaccia bread & pasta marinara included with the entrée.
