I don’t know how I missed doing a review here. I come all the time. This is one of my favorite crawfish places to eat when in season, but you should still come here off season because everything else still tastes soo good. I use to live in the subdivision behind this place and seen this building go through a lot of restaurants and I’m happy that this is the best one so far. Vietnamese do crawfish flavors like no one else. I wish they would become a vendor at the Crawfish Festival. When you go into the building you’ll instantly notice that this place does seafood just by all the nautical themes going on. I mean seriously this place is painted with murals all over the ceiling, they have huge ropes that run along the booths, and there’s a cabana right in the middle. I am a fan of all their specialty drinks, especially their margaritas. my favorite is the mango margarita. I do find it a bit odd they don’t have your standard margarita, but they do have a wide variety(peach, mango, passionfruit, etc). My friend ordered their new drink called a Texas Mule. It’s VERY heavy on the lime. I much prefer the good olé standard Moscow Mule as I like the taste of the ginger, it just wasn’t for me. Their lemon pepper wings were really good, it kinda reminded me of the ones I get at La Crawfish but the ranch sauce it came with wasn’t as sweet. Oh yes. The crawfish bread. So. Frikkin. Good. If you ever been to Pappadeux and had their crawfish fondue this will taste similar to that, but man, man of man. Good and hearty. I think I would have to be on the hungry side to get that, it’s definitely shareable. My friend also ordered some oyster nachos which were good as well, but we were surprised as it was more fancy than we expected them to be. We were thinking a bunch of nachos with stuff on them, but what we got was a beautiful presentaion of individual nachos with a huge fried oyster dressed with shallots, green onions, some other stuff and a nice creamy dressing. I enjoyed it. Now to the best part. The crawfish. These crawfishes are HUGE. I just don’t get it. There must be miniature bowflexes in the back that these critters are working on because on some of them you can get meat on the claws. Now keep in mind this is when they are in season, but I’ve also ordered of season and while not as fresh it still wasn’t bad. Why wasn’t it bad. Because of the… CITRUSFUSION Oh. My. God. That is the BEST flavor ever. I can’t even bring myself to try any of the other flavors because I can’t get enough of this one. I feel like it has my taste buds in a headlock. I wish I knew what was in there so I could recreated it. I see sliced oranges and lemons, green onions, onions, chopped garlic, butter, and a blend of secret spices that I just don’t know except that I need it in the worse possible way. I usually get the knock out and share it with friends as it comes with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and I think sausage? I’m not going to comment on the sausage as I’m not big on eating sausage. Btw the shrimp in it is just as good, if not better. They’re big AND they split the shell so it makes for easy peeling. Good guy Cajun Fuze. You don’t need any condiments to compliment this meal with these bold flavors. One day, I will get around the other flavors. But for now, citrus fusion is why I come here, honestly. Oh, and there bread pudding dessert… fantastic. They have some of the best. Warm with a pleasant texture. Overall I love this place and love bringing people here for a Vietnamese twist on Cajun seafood. They also have other things here beside the market value seafood, and a full bar might I add. Come here during crawfish season you won’t regret it.

Love the crawfish here! Tried every flavor I think I like the citrus fusion and garlic butter the best. I usually get both every time I come here. My only complaint it’s not that consistent. One time the garlic butter has more flavor and the citrus fusion has none, other times vice versa. Overall still good. Come between 4 – 7 for happy hour. The new waitress they have is slow so expect to wait if you need anything. Get the beignet fries for dessert it’s a must have!

Came here for some crab and crawfish. I had snow crab in the original Cajun and cannonball spice. Crab was good, boiled perfectly and had good spice and heat. She had the crawfish and crab. Crawfish was in the Thai citrus and medium heat. All prices are market price and by the pound(for seafood). We will be back.

This place has reopened and I feel like they were better last year. Most of the crawfish I got were dead with the heads cracked opened. When I said something, the answer I got was they aren’t dead but soft. I know the crawfish is soft because I ate the ones that were soft and not dead. I eat crawfish a lot so I know when they are soft and when they are dead. I think I’ll stay away for awhile if this is how the owner responds when a customer has an issue with their food. Even the passion fruit margarita barely had any passion fruit. I thought I was drinking a regular margarita the whole time. I’m sad to see the food isn’t consistent like it was in the past.

This place is AMAZING! The crawfish, shrimp, ect is fresh, the flavors so good, and the staff is nice. I’ve been to Hank’s Crawfish, LA Crawfish, and this place is by far the best in Houston. You really get more bang for your buck here as well.

This is one of my favorite places in the Houston area. Family owned business extremely personable(some of the nicest people I have ever met). This is huge for me. .. I gravitate to awesome customer service. When I know what I like to eat at a specific venue. .. That is what I get every time. I generally order a Swamp Water which is a fruity but very«adult» drink or a beer to start. When it is not crawfish season, I order the snow crab legs and the shrimp with three corns in garlic butter medium heat sauce also known as firecracker. When it is crawfish season I get the Big Bang which includes snow crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, corn, sausage and potatoes in my usual sauce(see above). They are currently closed for the holiday season, but I cannot wait for them to reopen in January. Definitely a hidden treasure!!! I would also recommend the salt pepper crab, fried catfish and the fried rice. .. All of the food is delicious! I highly recommend Cajun Fuze!

I had my first visit to Cajun Fuze and was really concerned about the gumbo. Being from Louisiana, I have had my run in with terrible versions of the coveted dish. I ordered the boudin balls, chicken tender poyboy and a cup of the regular gumbo. I was shocked, surprised, and delighted that the gumbo was delicious! It was a joy! The other two dishes, however, were lack luster. The poyboy was extra dry. My suggestion for the chef and owner would be to at least add mayo to the poyboys. The boudin balls need a makeover altogether. I will try visiting the site again to try some of their other entrees, but as far as the boudin balls and poyboys, nope!

Pretty good food! Between the three of us, we got the exploded fries(+egg), buffalo wings, crawfish etouffe, a platter of the shrimp and blackened catfish entrée and a blackened tilapia entrée(both of which came with broccoli and fried rice) and the beignet fries to end the meal with. The exploded fries with turkey neck meat were yummy but the egg was overdone so no goeeiness. Boo. Buffalo wings were pretty standard. All the entrees were spot on and flavorful too except for the batter fried shrimp– bland. The beignet fries were delish !! While service was slow, confusing and just okay(bordering bad), i really didn’t understand the styrofoam cups and disposable utensils. Whats up with that?

Looked like an interesting spot for dinner. Easy parking out front. Seated right way no waiting. Had my choice was a light crowd, but by the time I was leaving it was filling up fast. I ordered the po’boy talapia sandwich with fries. It came pretty quick. It was a huge sandwich, split the talapia in ½, ate ½ with the sandwich & the other ½ without any bun. It was delicious both ways. The fries were ok not great. The restaurant was clean but the bathroom was a little dirty. The waitress was very attentive, she did a good job.

Happy hr margaritas are 4 bucks. Mango, and passion fruit were yummy and were not watered down. The food was great, and so was the service given by Char. She was so attentive, polite, and new the menu well! #onpointgirl We went with the Big Bang fuzed with dynamite flavoring(which if u like spicy it is perfect). The shrimp, crab, and crawfish were seasoned all the way to the meat. Going back soon. #foodcoma Food tried: oyster nachos, boudain balls, firecracker shrimp rolls, boom boom shrimp, and exploaded fries.

The crawfish is probably the best I’ve had in Houston! Exploded Fries — Delicious, but I personally am not that into turkey neck. It looks and tastes great though! Shrimp — amazing! Loved how they are already deveined and all you have to do is slide the shell off. Cooked perfectly and its yummy. Crawfish — cooked and cleaned perfectly. Perfect size. Perfect. Blue crabs — could’ve been amazing, unfortunately got overcooked. It was such a big size too. What a waste of such a good crab. A great place to eat at & service is also great as well.

So happy that I do not have to drive out to Bellaire for crawfish anymore! The crawfish here is worth the $ 7.99/pound here! Parking lot is shared by other establishments with ample space. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by few hostesses who quickly took us to a table. If you order water, they provide a pitcher! Very convenient. Cajun Fuze carries unique flavors besides the known Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Butter. The other flavors are Thai Basil, Cilantro Lime, and Citrus Fusion. Have you heard of those flavors? Me neither. Spicy level is ranged from sparkler(mild) to nuclear bomb(extra extra spicy). If you’re not looking for the catch of the day, Cajun Fuze offers plenty of options such as wings, po-boys, fried rice, gumbo, and more. We chose to order spicy Citrus Fusion and Thai Basil crawfish. The crawfish is gigantic, and flavors are jam packed into the clear plastic bags. We probably had 5 huge craw daddies, which is rare at other establishments. I personally enjoyed Citrus Fusion more than Thai Basil. I believe Thai Basil is offered at Crawfish Café as well. Both, Thai Basil and Citrus Fusion, have the fusion with bold flavors! Explore and try them! I ordered a side of sweet potato fries with the crawfish. Fries were not worth the money. Condiments are free. They do not charge for extra butter, cajun, or mayo, which is great! There are TV’s around for those who are into sports, events, or what have you. There seems to be a full bar by the restrooms. Our waiter, Douglas, was fantastic! Ask for him when you’re here!

If you’re looking for fresh and huge sized crawfish with tasty flavors, then come dig in here! Their spices has a kick too. It’s located right across the street from Walmart on FM1960 and Walters Rd. You can’t miss it because it has a big blue font colored sign on top. My friends recommended me to try it so I came in for the first time with them. The second time, I brought my family in and they loved it! I want to try their entire menu, but you know how the price of seafood works. I would have to work here for months to make up the entire cost of the bill lol. The crawfish here was priced at $ 7.99, but I swear it’s worth every penny we spend here. The flavors, the spice, and size is what had me feel I hit gold. It’s fairly huge in size and very satisfying. The spiciest level on the menu is nuclear bomb. They even warn you on the menu. I chose dynamite and I was already burning around my lips. It’s a spicy level to choose, but it’s a good spice that is tolerable to eat. I have also had the chance to try their Exp-loaded fries, potatoes, corn, and sausage. All were great and I would repeat this order for the next time I visit this restaurant. There are plenty of TV screens to view for national events, sports, and pay-per-view. It looks like there’s a bar on one side and they have lots of tables to seat you and your party. The staff here looks young and they are very nice when serving you. The owners seem very happy to be here as well and they greet you as walk by them. The restrooms are decent and have enough room to get around. It could use some décor to match the interior of the restaurant. There’s a hut looking top in the middle of the restaurant for a table. It looks pretty nice and relaxing overall. The tables are kind of small for big groups, but they seated us well for a group of 7.

Really good food and service. The exploaded fries have shredded turkey neck, sriracha mayo, and green onion on Cajun fries. Add an egg, the gooey yolk makes it even better. Viet style wings were a little on the sweet side but great crisp and not too saucy. The gumbo is pretty legit. Ordered the Big Bang: 3lbs crawfish in garlic butter dynamite, 1lb snow crab, ½lb shrimp, 1lb sausage with 2 corn and 2 potatoes. I liked how the shrimp were already deveined but still in shell with tail on. Everything was so good! I’d be there more often if it wasn’t so far away.

A sweet and good crawfish joint finally opened in the Northwest area! Crawfish was $ 7.99 a pound. My siblings and I ordered a total of 8 pounds and 3 flavors: citrus fusion, Thai basil, and cilantro lime. I’m a huge person on the juiciness and tenderness of the crawfish — and the crawfish was definitely juicy and tender. Good size, super flavorful, and they’re very generous with the amount they give! They are definitely generous with their spices and sauce-ing everything up. I liked citrus fusion the most — very unique taste. We also ordered sweet potato fries and fried okra, and that was great too. :) Also got one pound of shrimp, and the shrimp was made to perfection and were huge! It is «BYOB» too which was a plus! They leave rolls of paper towels and a pitcher of water, which is really convenient. Our waitress was named Josie, and she was very sweet and kind. I love that she constantly checked up on our table! Good service and good food!

We stopped here on the way from Dallas to Beaumont because it’s off the highway(and inside a little bit). We heard so many good things about it, and it’s good! I think it’s better than what we have in DFW, which I haven’t written any reviews for since to me, nothing is as good as my cousin’s crawfish, which I am driving 5 hours for. The Special Friend starved me since this morning. We only ordered 2 lbs of medium spicy citrus fusion to share(the minimum) since we’ll be eating homemade crawfish later. The crawfish were a good size and the meat was tender. We were the only ones there for a while, which was nice because it was juicy, perfect for sucking heads(yah yah insert giggles here). For me, it’s all about the flavor and juiciness. I don’t enjoy spicy food so medium had a bit of a kick but not too much to where I don’t enjoy it, which means it was too bland for the SF. I like citrusy crawfish but not all the time, so it was good to try! We also shared a bowl of seafood gumbo which was flavorful and hearty. There were huge lumps of crab and lots of shrimp and crawfish. If this was in Dallas, I’d definitely add it to my crawfish rotation.

So I couldn’t help myself to try this new place, I kept seeing reviews on how delicious this place is especially when dear Unilocalers tend to add the most tongue dripping pictures on here so I knew I had to come! Came here with my youngest brother for some good ol’ mud bugs. We each ordered 2 lbs of crawfish, potato, corn, and for him french fries with out cokes. Our server(Bonita) was very kind, attentive but once she dropped off our tasty food… ITWASON! Their Original Cajun Dynamite was good and Spicy!!! I will be coming in to try their Big Bang since it was not being offered on the night we came, Have read how good it is!

This place is ! My friends invited GF and I out for dinner at Cajun Fusion on a Wednesday evening. This was probably their fourth time dining here while it was our first. Upon entering the establishment, GF and I noticed how spacious the place was. There was also this cute hut in the middle of the restaurant. There are plenty of televisions which is a plus for sports fans. Bonita took care of us and she was great. We were informed that it was temporary«BYOB» which was awesome. And to our convenience, a liquor store was located right next door! :) So more about the food. We ordered the following: A dozen raw oyster. These oysters were so clean! I don’t recall ever seeing oysters being so clean where the shells they sat on were so shiny. They were big and sweet! The expLoaded fries and jambalaya were both good as well! The fries come with shredded turkey neck meat and drizzled with a spicy mayo. For crawfish, we selected two different flavors, thai basil and cajun fusion. Both flavors were excellent. The crawfish were of decent size and scrumptious! We will definitely be back! We believe they just opened not too long ago so come out and give them a try! You won’t regret it! :)

I visited this establishment on the evening of their«Grand Opening» and enjoyed every last bite of our meal! It’s almost crawfish season time and you know what that means… crawfish multiple times out of the week until you just can’t bare the thought of cracking another crawfish in half or sucking the flavorful juices from their heads! This location is not too far from where I reside. Living on the North side of town, you tend to be very limited on your choices of where to get your crawfish fix on. It is located not too far past Veterans Memorial on FM1960 in a small shopping center located right at the light on Walters. The building is right on the corner and the signs to the establishment are very visible. When we walked in we were quickly greeted by the hostess. She was finishing up with a customer ordering to-go and made sure that eye contact was exchanged as she was scurrying to grab us menus and seat us promptly. As we were getting situated with our seating the waitress greeted us with a warm smile and also helped me manuvear my double stroller to fit around the table. They advertised on Facebook that they were BYOB so we ended up bringing in our own alcoholic beverages. When we pulled up we noticed that there was a liquor store directly next door to them as well in case you change your mind or did not know while dining there. We have kids so we asked the waitress to quickly put in an order of the Popcorn Shrimp. She brought us out our drinks and took the rest of our order in a timely manner. I was happy the Popcorn Shrimp basket came out not too long after that because food is the only thing that will keep my kids occupied! They quickly devoured it and we ordered a second order. I fell in love with their sweet potato fries! I always try to be healthy wherever I can when I eat… if a restaurant offers sweet potato fries then that will be my immediate choice. Everyone quickly dug in and the next second I reach for the basket only to find there were no fries left behind. We had to place a second order for the sweet potato fries and the fried okra. As far as the food, my husband and I had 5 lbs of the garlic butter, DYNAMITE. I really enjoyed it because it was the perfect level of spicy without all the cayenne pepper clumped on top of the crawfish like some establishments that I have visited. The flavor in their crawfish was on point. Majority of the places I have crawfish at usually just toss the crawfish into a saucy concoction and call it a day. They were serving live crawfish today at $ 7.99/lb. My friend had the thai basil seasoning and she loved it! I also overheard the people that sat behind us raving about how much they enjoyed the taste of the thai basil flavor choice for their crawfish, I must try it next time! Overall, our night out was great! My step-son joined us for dinner and it was his first time eating crawfish. I am very happy to see that he was enjoying the crawfish after he had gotten the hang of how to peel and eat, lol! I told him it may look like a lot of work, but it is well worth it! We got the same flavor but in MILD for him and he said it was a tad spicy but it was manageable. Other items that we ordered were oysters, corn, potatoes, shrimp, gumbo and their boudin balls. They also brought out an assortment of condiments without us having to ask. I like how they were not stingy with condiments like at some establishments when you have to ask and they come back with 2 – 3 dinky little limes. I will definitely be returning to Cajun Fuze so I can try the other flavors and items that they have on their menu. I am very satisfied with the customer service I received and especially how delicious the crawfish was. Must take advantage of this hidden gem before it gets packed!
