I walked into this Burger King which is attached to a gas station, there was no one in line, but quite a few people at the tables. The place seemed pleasant enough but had a depressing vibe. I quickly decided I’d take my food to go rather than scarf it down inside. I had a coupon, so I walked up and asked the lady at the cash if I could use it. She smiled and said of course, but then required someone’s assistance to make it happen. It took longer then it should have, and they kept pushing buttons until they got to a price the two of them decided was«right.» Technically it was still 25 cents higher than it should have been, but I didn’t really care. I was paying $ 3.50 for 10 nuggets and a large fry, seems like a deal enough for me. Of course, then my bag was handed to me which had 2 boxes in it. Rather then look inside I decided to make it a surprise for myself and walked out the door. In the car i noticed that they had just given me 2 ten-piece nuggets and no fries. So while they had gotten my order wrong, it was clearly in my favor(I’ll take nuggets over fries any day!). Oddly I only got 2 sauces, making their distribution even more Draconian than McDonalds sauce policy. The nuggets were hot and fresh, but still not as good as McNuggets. Overall it was an interesting experience and while I’m not in a rush to go back, I’ll probably visit again when I have another coupon and be ready for another suprise!

It’s a Burger King. For all intents and purposes if you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. They don’t really change a lot from place to place. What I will say is that for the short time there was a Burger King Breakfast Bowl I really liked it. It had eggs, sausage, cheese, and you could add salsa. But now it constantly says«Sold Out» and I think it’s been discontinued. This Burger King on Bissonnet near 59 is across from where I’m currently working so it’s extra convenient, and the man who works in the morning is always friendly and in a good mood.
