Brickhouse is a bar/restaurant that has decent food overall. Many times when im craving a late night snack i stop by grab a drink and something to eat! They have delicious burgers and have seasoned tatar tots! Ive tried almost everything on their menu and the only thing i could remember that i wouldnt order again would prob be the fried zucchini. It is thinly sliced zucchini with a whole shit of batter and oil… They have a cozy interior(the have sofas) and lots of tv for watching sports which is always a plus!

Nice place to watch a game not a bad seat in the place… Variety of sitting areas of course bar, high tables, table w/booth, love seat couch with table… multiple 40 – 60′ tvs throughout the bar and staff very generous to get you connected to your desire game or team. Grabbed a few apps… Calamari with pepper, Man Cave and Garlic Parmesan Wings. Calamari is lightly fried laden with jalapeño and red peppers served with marina sauce. Found them to be perfectly prepared not to hard or over cooked… Wings were good. Man Cave sauce is a sweet and savory. Little messy as I believe if has honey or molasses in sauce so beware messy but good. The Garlic Parmesan Wings were just okay. Heavy chunks of fresh garlic were layered on the wings a little too much for me. Lots of other selection I will look to try next round. Service was great. Food was hot out the kitchen and servers were very attentive to making sure cups were never empty. Happy Hour 3−9pm drinks/apps. Reverse Happy Hour 9pm finger food only.

Let’s start by saying how happy I was to find a restaurant that was open on Christmas! My bf and I don’t have family in Houston so this was where we spent our evening. I had heard great things about Brick House, but this was my first time going. I now regret not having gone sooner. Service was great, from the hostess to our waitress. Maybe everyone was in the Christmas spirit? My boyfriend ordered the chicken bites for his appetizer, pretty decent, nothing too special. He then ordered the Philly cheesesteak, again, good, but not spectacular. I will say that there menu has so many other unique items to choose from, I have no idea why those two things are what he ordered. I, on the other hand, ordered the Greek Lamb burger and it was amazing from beginning to end!!! I at first was torn between the duck wings and the lamb burger, but the waitress assured me that the lamb was the better choice. I got it with seasoned fries and ate until I almost burst lol. It was perfectly prepared. I look forward to making this a regular on my list of go to restaurants!

The Club Sandwich is amazing. Pro tip: get the Cajun tots with queso as your side(queso is free). You won’t be disappointed.

We had been to Brick House establishments in other cities, but this one was the best. The staff was exceptional, the manager made a point to come talk to us and it was, overall, a great experience.

Good food, always bad/slow service. Waited at the front to be sat, had to ask bartender if we should just sit ourselves because we were just standing there with two different servers who both noticed us yet did nothing. We finally get sat. Our server seemed hostile, and short. Felt like a nuisance to her. She got onto my child twice, as if I’m not even sitting right there, to reprimand my own kid. Worse than the last few times. Won’t come back anytime soon. Or ever for that matter, unless they actually hire people who are teamwork oriented and care about their job. Oh and the manager, a nice blond haired lady, she was pleasant. She gave us a drink and that was our only interaction but it was the most positive part of our experience. 2 stars for her :)

I have a huge internal conflict here. I love the food, the patio, the inside atmosphere. I love the large comfy couches and that I can spend a good chunk of time here on my lunch break and get work done. However, they’re service is horrible. I’ve been here 10 – 15 times and have maybe had a good server twice. It’s making the experience bad. I’ve always tipped well, never asked for a lot of requests, I pretty much keep to myself or my group. And I always feel like I’m bothering my server. Like I said though the food is good, so I come back. Any burger is great and the fries and tots with the rib rub just makes a good hearty lunch!

I have not been to a BHTT in about two years. I really didn’t like the food the last time. So last Saturday my main squeeze and I decided to check out the Texans pre-game outside our house. We found ourselves here. We were seated immediately and they even put us in a comfy, oversized booth with our own personal TV! Score! The second I saw the menu, I did not recognize anything on it. So they have changed quite a bit since my last visit. We started off with the Black and Blue Chips. Thinly sliced potatoes lightly fried, Served with a smooth white queso, topped with crumbled blue cheese. These were so good. I will get these again! My meal was the Drunken Meatballs-Nicely tender meatballs cooked in a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, topped with onion strings and served with Jalapeño Corn Bread. Definitely different and a great change of pace. I will order this again too! Well Brick House, you won me back!

I love the atmosphere here. It’s really mellow and laid back. The seating is awesome. Love the fire place! Their food is great. My favorite thing to order here is their jalapeño Calimari. It’s like Calimari w/pickled jalapenos and the juice ontop. YUM!!! Their drinks are pretty good. Depending on who is bartending you may get a stronger/lighter drink. The only drink I tried off the menu here that was disgusting was called i think«The Zombie». My feelings about this drink were(I’m not drunk enough to drink this) lol! I will say that their music selection could use a little help.

Came here while in town for business because it was next to our hotel. Gotta say, for a town that’s really good challenged, the corporate feel of brick house wasn’t what we experienced. This is a solid place. Good beer, with a gastro-pub type menu and good beer list. Bourbons were both affordable and the menu was broad. Food is what you’d expect from a churn and burn kitchen — but still edible. Would definitely come here again.

Food. It’s not bad at all but the service has really gone downhill since I began going here. The atmosphere is great and I’ll probably be back again, just need to step their game up from a service perspective.

Been here about five or six times in the past few years. The food and beer are always good and I could easily upgrade this place to four stars if they could improve the service. From the time you sit down to the time your first drink is delivered it is at least 15 minutes. All throughout the meal it just seems like your waitress is MIA. I’m sure i’ll come back when traveling here on business, just wish it could be a bit more organized. Last thing — It seems like they have the waitresses memorize the orders.(I’m okay with them writing down the order, especially when they are trying to service multiple tables.)

The Sweet and Spicy tails are my absolute Fave. Fresh shrimp garnished with onion rings, YUMMMMMY. It’s listed as a snack, but be careful, it’s a Very Large snack. I have never had a bad meal here in the 3 years that I have frequented this place. When I’m in Houston, this is always a must stop place. I should also mention it’s a Great sports bar too, and it has an awesome outdoor patio. It gets my rare two thumbs up rating.

Lately I’ve been stuck in an endless loop of poor service. I’m happy to report that brick house broke that loop. We arrived around noon for a business lunch on a weekday. Being Houston in January, we opted to sit outside. We quickly ordered soft drinks. In the five minutes it took to decide on food choices, the waitress had visited our table 2x and refilled all glasses. After we placed our orders, she continued to make sure we had a full glass without being too involved or intrusive. Before she brought the check, she just decided to bring everyone at the table a drink in a to go cup, which she must have assumed we wanted based on the copious amount of refills we had. Good: 2/5, similar to hooters Service: 5⁄5 Atmosphere: 4⁄5
