I’m not from or familiar with the area but since I was on this side of town & needed my lashes done ASAP I decided to Google nail salons(forgot ALL about Unilocal). Called 2 other salons but no answer. Came across Best Nails & Spa and they were open(on a Sunday)!!! I must say I was very impressed with the customer service which I am ALWAYS ready to sound off on. Didn’t get the gentleman name who answered the phone but his customer service was good, he answered all my questions & didn’t try to rush me off the phone. So with some hesitation I gave them a try. Tracy did my lashes… Since it was my first time she applied my individual lashes on one eye then allowed me to inspect her work(I’m picky). Whatever kind of glue she used didn’t bother me(no sting or watery eyes) which I was surprised because I have sensitive eyes. She also provided very good customer service & polite Whenever I’m on this side of town or even if I have to make a trip from the SW, I will be going back to see Tracy. $ 20 well spent!!!

My current review for 10/29/2015. First let me say that I have been coming to this place for years. I have always been pleased with the prices. The have undergone new management and I haven’t been in quite some time(over a year). I called today to see if they accepted appointments and an employee put a young lady on the phone. I said okay maybe he needs a translator. I asked the young the same question and she turns around and him my question verbatim in english and he said ‘no’. And to add injury to insult, she was a customer! What kind customer service is that?

A little more expensive than other places in the area but definitely worth it in terms of service. I got a shellac manicure last Saturday and it still looks nice. Walked right in, little to no wait. Also, was offered a cool beverage. They received four stars instead of five because the colors were limited. All in all solid service.

By far the worse nail shop ever!!! I really wish I could give them a 0. I paid over $ 30 to get a regular French solar set. 4 days later my nails looked awful. Almost every nail looked like it was not on the base nail. When I went back to try and get them fixed a man told me «they looked perfectly normal and there was nothing wrong with the work«. What awful customer service ! I will never go there again and I will never recommend anyone to them. Please save your money and go some where else. Don’t go there because of convenience.

First I have to say this business only gets 5 stars because of Stacy … she is a talented treasure. I live in Midtown and was fed up with the outrageous prices for eyelashes, nails and eye brows so one afternoon about a year ago I decided to venture out of my beloved Midtown to see what I could find. At first I was put off by this location but I quickly realized it was all in my stereotyping head. It’s not in the nicest area but it is in a very small shopping center(only one other place is in the shopping center) and no homeless or crazies have ever approached me, I park walk in, and that’s it. On my very first visit I lucked out and got Stacy. She did a full set of nails and also did my toes, all 20 with amazing art work and rhinestones, plus a full set of lashes and did my eye brows, all that for $ 100 and that included the $ 20 tip I left her, so needless to say, the price is right and not only that, but she does a fabulous job with a smile on her face. She actually loves doing nails. It doesn’t matter if you’re just getting 2 coats of polish or designs on every finger, she is going to treat your nails as if they are little pieces of art. The woman takes pride in her job. I can’t speak highly enough about this woman and actually feel bad about waiting a year to write this review. One thing that needs to be mentioned … The eye lashes are individual lashes, but they use a cheaper glue(hence why it’s only $ 20 for a full set and $ 10 for a refill) then what eye lash salons that charge $ 150 use, but in all honesty, I like it better… 1. It does not sting at all 2. When your fake lashes start to come out you will loose none, zero of your natural lashes 3. A full, thick set only takes 17 – 20 minutes to finish 4. If you go every week for a brand new set, you’ll still only be paying $ 80 for the month I have to add, last year Stacy went home to Vietnam for 3 months and during that time I bounced around to many nail techs at the salon and they were pretty lackluster so this review is for Stacy and only Stacy, thankfully she is back and works 1pm to close(which is 7:30pm Mon –Sat and 6pm on Sunday — yep, they are open on Sundays) If this review encourages you to visit her I would highly recommend calling and making an appointment with her instead of just showing up. Simply call and ask to speak with Stacy, she’s there every day after 1pm. She is very impressive about keeping her appointment times running promptly and it will give you a chance to hear her friendly disposition.
