Best Alterations

Well I havent been to the store, just from the phone call trying to get information I was completely irritated. First the lady doesnt answer phone like she is running a business. She just answers HELLO very rudely may I add, then when you ask if this is Best Alterations she snaps back YES, Like its my fault I couldnt tell since she didnt state that. Then when you ask her quesitons she yells at you she cant tell you over the phone which I understand but why could all the other places I called give a ball park estimate. Obviously this lady has no idea how to run a business. Absolutely disgusted with her attitude, noway to treat customers.
And if this place is closed as the picture states then state that when you call.

Well, you should probably call first — I went there today, when they were supposed to be open, and no one was there. Went up the road and around the corner to Memorial Tailors.

Why am I writing a review for something as mundane as altering pants?? Well because if not, I have to wait for some magical power to teach me how to hem stuff myself. Until that happens, I will go to best alteration. The owner is very attentive and will even expedite when necessary.

The lady who runs Best is an absolute hoot. I have never had a seamstress with a better sense of humor. She is warm, charming, and quick witted to boot.
All that said, she does a FANTASTIC job on men’s button downs. That’s all I have had the opportunity to take in to her but each shirt came back like it was originally sewn for my figure.
Incredible work for a very reasonable price! Will DEFINITELY be coming back with any alteration need.

My mother is always altering her vintage clothes. She’s been to alterations shops all over town for decades, but she says Nami’s the best in Houston. She drives all the way from Sugar Land for Nami.
I met her today for the first time and she was attentive to detail and made sure she new exactly what my mother wanted. If i ever need alterations, i will most likely go here.

I’ve been going to Best Alterations for almost 10 years. Nami the owner and seamstress is a gem! She is so sweet and never met a stranger. We’ve become great friends over the years. Her work is top notch and she even takes «emergencies». I would highly recommend Nami to alter even your best clothing!
