Excellent doctor and practice. I’m always skeptical when I hear about pain management practices being in the medical field. So many are just pill pushers. Dr Benny however does not push pills to mask the problem. I brought in my images from my MRI and Dr Benny did a more thorough exam than the neurosurgeon did. The neurosurgeon wrote me off because I am young(29 years old) with back pain. Dr Benny actually explained to me where the pain was coming from and the disease process I am experiencing. He got my in to PT and has now done two sets of injections on my back. The first one stopped some pain and I’m hoping the second one fixes it for a while. About 3 weeks after the first set I called his office in severe pain and not only did they call me in medication, but the also saw me on Christmas Eve(even though he was not officially in the office) and got me scheduled to do injections that were done this morning since my deductible will start over after the first of the year. His PA and his MA are both very nice and compassionate and the surgery centers he works with have exceptional staff and facilities. Oh and the Physical Therapy centers are also wonderful. Abbie and Jacob at the Katy and Sugarland locations are wonderful. You won’t find many doctors that are as compassionate and dedicated to patient outcome as are Dr Benny and his staff.

Dr. Benny needs to learn to treat his patients with dignity & respect. He was the stereotypical doctor with a «God» complex. He has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen. He didn’t explain anything very well at all, and did give me the opportunity to ask questions. He is self-righteous & pompous. He didn’t listen to my concerns, interrupted me repeatedly, and rushed through the little time he spent with me. He was rude, and made it obvious that he didn’t care that my pain was severe. He also claims that his 1st step is making a diagnosis, but he didn’t give me a diagnosis, an yet wrote up a treatment plan anyway. His assistant was rude, uncaring and condescending as well. The only reason I’m going back is for the PT center. I’m in awful pain and cannot wait any longer to get started with PT. Even one of the front desk girls(with her arm in a sling) was rude to me & treated me like an inconvenience as she slammed her sticky note pad down with the information I gave her. The only nice people in the office was the other girl at the front desk and Dr. Benny’s intern, who did seem compassionate & caring. Dr. Benny & his assistant treated me very disrespectfully and the entire visit was awful because of the pain I was in, coupled with the fact that the doctor I was seeing didn’t seem to care at all about my pain level or my concerns.
