Went to Martin Luther King show tonight! Great show with talented artists!!! Looks like they have changed the schedule this year and will hold the art gallery showcases on 3rd Saturday nights each month! Will travel down again! Definitely worth it!

While visiting Houston, I attended a collective art show at this art gallery/​art studio compound. I was favorably impressed by this art space. The place has small studios rented by artists and a great open space where art is exhibited. The event was well attended, they had live music as well as food and drinks. Many locals attending the event told me that this venue has been a great addition to the local art community.

Great Art Studio! The artists are really talented and well presented. I toured Saturday night when the HS studios were open. I hope they don’t sell the painting i want!

I’m not quite sure if this is the correct listing as they might have changed the name, But I recently attended the one year anniversary of the Up Art studio. It was an interesting venue to say the least. They had a lot of Graffiti and Street art.

Great amenities for working artists and a good community of creative types. The open house on every second Saturday draws interesting folk. I’m constantly seeing red dots go up on paintings. What artist doesn’t love a rash of red dots?
