Stay away from these butchers. I took m family. My wife, my son, and myself to these maniacs a few years ago. We were new patients and I left my old dentist temporarily because I wanted a dentist who covers children as well. I called over a month in advance and spoke to receptionist to schedule a NEW patient visit with teeth cleaning for all three of us. He scheduled the appt and confirmed the day and time. As the day approached, I was concerned that they day before the appt nobody called us to remind us. So to be sure, I called Ashley back to confirm that we were on for the following day. The receptionist seemed confused but confirmed that we were on for tomorrow at the scheduled time. We came in the following day at our scheduled time. The front end clerk looked puzzled and confused when we approached her but told us to be seated. We waited for over 3 – 4 hours. Turns out we were never scheduled. They lied multiple times. They lied the first time when they scheduled us. They lied when I called back to confirm. They lied when we came for our appt. Only when we finally confronted them did the manager confess that we were never scheduled to begin with and they screwed up. I was already there and switched my insurance over to them. So I agreed to have them clean my teeth. This required ANOTHER visit. Which AGAIN they thoroughly screwed up. They screwed up the billing which I had to call and correct them on. And again 3 hour wait because they don’t know how to schedule. The dentist told me I had a cavity and it should be filled. I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort but figured if I had one, might as well get it taken care of. Dentist said, I had cavities all over my mouth on left side AND right side. EVERYWHERE. She said my son had cavities everywhere too. My wife was suspicious and said that our son should not have any cavities done because he was recently at the dentist only 2 months ago and got a clean bill of health. She warned me not to trust Ashley. I wish I took her advice. I told the dentist to do the upper left side(I was gonna get a cleaning anyway) but leave the right side alone. Dentist convinced me to do the upper and lower left side. She said it was necessary. I prevented her from doing right side. I came home and days went by. Week. 2 weeks. Something was wrong. Lots of pain where the«cavity» was filled. Throbbing. Never had pain like this before. I didn’t want to call Ashley because I was afraid to go back to these incompetent butchers. Suddenly my tooth that was filled ruptured. It exploded open. I called my old dentist. He was nice and tried to be diplomatic without bad mouthing Ashley. But he said that we needed to remove the filling. It was poorly done. That is why my tooth ruptured. They packed it too tightly, jammed it in and actually made the initial hole WIDER. He always goes in gently and gradually. Ashley just shoved it in, widened the hole and caused a rupture of my tooth. When he redid it, the pain subsided greatly, but it NEVER went away completely. Til this day I sill have pain due to these butchers at Ashley. It has been 3 years. My pain will probably never go away. Ashley most likely caused permanent nerve damage. I asked my dentist about the«cavities» on the right side of my mouth that the Ashley dentist wanted to do and I refused. He examined my mouth. There WERE no cavities. He Xrayed it. Nothing. No cavities. Ashley wanted to drill holes in places where cavities didn’t exist. Why? You guys found out I had nice insurance you could extort? I asked about my son which Ashley wanted to fill cavities all over his mouth. Examination showed no cavities at all. I still feel pain till this day and it has been a few years because of these butchers. And you have the audacity after all this time to still send me reminder calls and text messages to come in for an appointment. Get a freaking clue. You’re lucky I don’t sue you for what you’ve done. I suggest people stay away from Ashley Dental. I’m glad I didn’t let them cut into my kid. I wish I listened to my wife and stopped them from putting their hands on me. I feel sorry for those patients that can’t afford to go to a better dentist. My heart goes out to them.
