Amille’s Coffee

I initially tried this coffee shop because its a closer walk than Starbucks. IT DIDN’T DISAPPOINT :) I got a vanilla iced latte and wow. just WOW! im so very pleased and excited to have this so close to work.

Hit or miss — depends on who is preparing your order. I always order the same thing — large iced latte. Some days it is good and it beats walking over to Starbucks just to stand in line. Some days, like this morning, it’s completely undrinkable.

I love this place and it’s cheap and best. I believe it’s better than Starbucks. Come here and check this place out.

Okay, here’s the deal. I love the convenience of Amille’s and I love the organic milk they use. The quality of the food/​beverages is done nicely. However, my complaint is this, I have followed a barista for the past 4 years from the tunnel to Fulbright Tower. I was just informed today, that Ery, the barista/​shift supervisor in the photo, has been moved to a location on the other side of town.
WHY is ask you? Part of the experience of getting my morning breakfast is ERY. I never had to tell her my order, which sadly has not changed in 4 years. I take clients, new employees and friends to this location, and for some unknown reason, the «powers that be» have moved one of their finest customer service, warm-​hearted and sincerest personnel away from the people that truly respect and like her.
I am requesting that ERY return back to Fulbright Tower. She is the heart and soul of this location. By taking her away, you have ultimately ruined the personal touch that only she can provide. I have seen her train individuals and send them on their way to succeed, but why move her? She was doing a wonderful job, and it appeared your income increased upon her arrival.
Trust me when I say that I came to this location before meeting ERY and it was a stuffy establishment.

I don’t see a Unilocal location for the 500 Dallas Amilles, so I’ll offer it here — you can’t charge more for drip coffee than Starbucks and then not have cream… terrible.

I was drawn to this place because it’s a closer walk than Starbucks from my office. It’s also cheaper which was another cool thing. Yesterday I had the hot chocolate. In my opinion a little too sweet and not quite enough of a chocolate flavor that you get from a good hot chocolate made with Hershe’s cocoa. Today I tried the El Salvadorian medium roast. The coffee was bitter and tastless. I could have just stayed in the office and drank the free Folgers. I think I will stick to Starbucks for now even though I have a pay a few cents more.

Great coffee spot. Very helpful, they use organic milk and even have happy hour with discounted prices.

We had breakfast catered to our office this morning. The Kolaches and Quiches were AMAZING! I seriously might have dreams about the sausage cheese and jalapeño kolache. So good, service was excellent too.
