Amille’s Coffee

The Best Americano’s! and the staff are friendly and they welcome you each day with warms smiles, genuine customers service and great coffee!

Pretty typical place, nothing too special. It definitely beats going to stand in the Starbucks like in the galleria when you’re on a quick coffee break.

This little stand sits in the south side of the Williams Tower foyer on the 2^nd floor. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I don’t really stop by on the way up to work, but whenever I do walk by, they always have a long, long line with smiling, friendly staff getting people their morning cup of Joe. In the afternoons they have Happy Hour where they offer a discount off of popular drinks. And if you check in, you get a free upgrade, woot!

The service is great and the baristas are always friendly! They make it a point to remember your name and what you order. Sometimes they have it ready before you pay for your order! I would highly recommend this location!

Amille’s is a gem in the William’s Tower! The staff is fantastic and know their customers by name and what they drink — which means — better customer service, less waiting and cheerful chit-​chat to start your day or when you need an afternoon pick-​me-​up! I’m a tea drinker and they make a better London Fog than Starbuck’s (no kidding, it’s disappointing on the weekends if I end up at SB or try to recapture the drink making it on my own… just not the same).
The only drawback (and it is disruptive) to Amille’s is the owner switches the staff around to other shops — so frustrating to the customers! There’s a get-​to-​know each other period which slows down the operation. And quite honestly it’s sad to see the people you’ve gotten to know and are a part of your day, taken away. Junior, Cecilia and Ashley (who was brought back!) are great barristas and cheerful faces everyday. I hope they are in place at the William’s Tower for a LONG time and the owner considers how this practice is upsetting!

This place is awesome. I used to pass by and see long lines and I know why. The people are very friendly and remember you name and the coffee you drink. The prices are very reasonable, way cheaper than Starbucks. Plus they have a frequent buyer card. And if you check in, you get a free upgrade! My favorite coffee spot!

I work in the tower so it is nice that there is a coffee shop so handy. YAY!
The baristas are always pleasant and the coffee I order is never a disappoint. I do wish that during the Xmas season they served eggnog lattes. I totally love those but walking to that other place in the mall is not convenient since I am alway on tight deadlines.
The cinnamon dolce is my fave. The food selection is rather limited but so is the space they occupy. I just make sure I go when there is not a line out the wa-​zoo. I am not a fan of lines whatsoever and will go back down just to avoid standing there waiting like a lemming.

One of the friendliest coffee stands in the Houston Area. I pass a zillion coffee joints on the way to work, but I hold out for this group of folks who know just the right way to start my day… non-​fat vanilla latte.

Great place to get coffee or tea located on the second floor lobby of the Williams Tower. Formerly Seattle’s Best for years, not sure if anything changed much. Coffee is better and cheaper than Starbucks, and extremely convenient if you work at or are visiting the building.
The employees are really nice and keep the line moving fast when they’re busy in the morning.

Traveling to Houston and they make a heck of an iced redeye, quite a bit better than Starbucks.

In addition to their yummy coffee they have great selection of teas and milk shakes as well. They carry mighty leaf (the best bagged tea you can find in US).
My favorite is green tea tropical, ginger and mint!
Ask for a card (get 12 and 1 free) to save some money.
