I have been going to Alina Stephanie Day Spa for many, many years. I have done Laser Hair Removal and Electrolysis treatments with Alina. She is very experienced, professional and friendly. No complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get rid of the razor once and for all!

Alina does a fantastic job with electrolysis on my eyebrows. She is very careful to make sure everything is completely even by measuring and double checking her work. I’ve been to other electrologists and she is by far the best I have found anywhere.
Her space is nice and relaxing and she does a through job of cleaning and sanitizing everything, which is very important. I would and have recommended her to my friends and family who are looking for hair removal services.

Thanks to good Unilocal reviews I went to this spa and I have to confirm that Alina is amazing! I have been to three different electrologists and she is by far the best. I’m originally from Texas, but I currently live in New York and I travel all the way to Houston because it is worth it. I know it’s hard to believe that there isn’t anyone else as good in New York, but it’s true. Not only is her office clean and comfortable, she and her staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. She is extremely fast and thorough and even though I have sensitive skin I do not break out at all afterwards (as had been my experience with other technicians).

I bought a voucher for laser treatments and were hesitant to go, since other places I have been to have not shown any results. Although it was a little far and 1960 is so hectic, it was well worth the travel, and since it was such a good deal I could not resist! I went ahead and bought it and came to give it a try. After the first laser treatments I saw results. The growth was slower, and the hair was thinner, the more I went the better my progress. Alina really knows what she’s doing, and I’m really satisfied with my results. When I go, I feel like she really takes care of me, and ensures me of all worries of recurring unwanted hair growth. So far, I have had laser treatment on underarms, lip and brazilian and I have not touched a razor since! I have already recommended this place to my friends and they loved it also! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who desires to rid their unwanted hair!

Alina is honest and up front with everyone about her laser effectiveness. I went in for a consultation with my mother and she told us that our nationality (Middle Eastern) and skin & hair type did not make us a good fit for her laser, as she’s seen the hair growth get worse with skin like ours. What kind of place would turn away you and your cash? I was impressed.
She did agree to do one area on my mother which my mom really wanted. After several treatments, my mom says she sees a huge difference. Laser doesn’t work on white hairs, just black, so Mom still has those, but all the thick black hairs that used to bother her so much are gone! She’s really pleased, and I’m really happy we got such a good deal!

This place is seriously amazing! I love it. Victoria my facialist was incredible. It is wonderful that I sign up for a contract to stay with them … Great deal!!!

I am in love with this place. Such a long drive for me (from the medical center) but definitly worth it. I just want to say… I have been to 7 session of 12 and the results are astounding! I have nothing next really but since I still have sessions left on my voucher – im maximizing it. Comparing Alina to the other laser place i’ve been to (Intrgue – which seems to be under fire), i must say how much MORE professional and talented Alina is. She keeps a file on each patient and writes notes on your progress. She mentions that at each session, she up’s the laser beam so I would get maximum results each time. If i felt that a spot was missed, she would be sure to get it. I must say, the 15 minute torcher is well worth the results. I will be on a cruise this summer and love the fact i have no worries about shaving stubbles or even waxing. Personal note: it has resolved any ingrown hairs i had obtained from months of waxing. Love the work and Alina… she is worth the drive and money. You get what you want! I have already recommended other friends and they too enjoyed the experience.

The services they offer are great and I’m pleased with my results. However, I’ve gotten phonecalls when I did not have an appointment scheduled asking where I was… maybe a bit more organization is needed. But overall, the staff is friendly and I’m happy with the outcome of my electrolysis treatments. Alina knows what she’s doing and seems very experienced. I’d send my friends to her.
