ACS Absolute Comfort Heating and Cooling

They are horrible! Horrible service, horrible work, horrible all around. They came to my house twice in a week and still havent fixed the problem. Spent an 80 degree Christmas in a hot house full of guests. They are cons… We called on Mon when our outside unit was making a horribl noise! They came out on Wed some moron said he had a part to fix the problem and asked us to NOT tell the company. He comes back and fixes it… so we think. Thurs Christmas eve the AC freezes up. They couldn’t send anyone out until Sat 10 – 12 even called to confirm. Sat no one shows up, called office to be told by Patricia they needed a part. I asked how did she know when no one has been out. She said they had put a temporary part on when they came out. So basically they lied and and said they fixed it when the guy came out. They had no explanation for their actions. Called to make a complaint with American Home Shield and it was nothing they could do since ACS was the reason for the problems. Meaning they didn’t want to pay another technician! I requested to NEVER have ACS sent to my home after this last repair. Its Sunday and we are still without AC! Formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau!!!

I can’t comment on the service, though I can say I will never be using this company. A driver evidently felt very entitled this morning, as he thought he had the right to drive straight into heavy traffic from a parking lot, not at all concerned about my placement in the lane. I slammed on my brakes & honked my horn. His next action was to proceed to accelerate. He clearly had no concern about the very high potential of hitting me. I guess the company’s insurance would cover it? So no liability for the driver? I let him go, but he made sure to give me the middle finger prior to driving off. I certainly wouldn’t want this guy coming into my home.

DO NOT USE ACS! This company tried to scam us by telling us that we needed additional equipment to make sure that our A/​C was up to code. They wanted to charge us an additional $ 835 for things that 3 other A/​C vendors told me that we didnt need. In addition, their service guy completely drained our system of refrigerant. This is not only illegal and could cost him his license but can rack up a $ 2500 fine. I will be filing a case with the BBB against these crooks. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!!

My home warranty company sent ACS out to check out my ductwork. The a/​c in my house works just fine but there is no air blowing into the master bedroom or bathroom. Turns out the vent/​duct for the master is open and blowing into the attic. Unfortunately this repair is not part of my warranty because the previous owners modified the system.
But I can’t complain. The technician was polite and friendly and he was very punctual. And now that I know the problem I can have it properly fixed.

Well they offered to refund money because Ifiled a complaint with the BBB, They were more concerned about closing complaint than making things right. This company should not be in business, I am also filing a complaint to the State Lic. Board, I want people to know they are dirt bags

Do not use this company! As with another of these reviewers, I have American Home Shield and ACS was assigned to fix our A/​C. The tech arrived at our subdivision, was pulled over by security for speeding and reckless driving and issued a citation. He became so obnoxious that security escorted him off the property! He called me and went off on me, screaming that our security and speed laws were not fair and he would never come back! (as if it were my fault he was driving like a maniac!!) When I called ACS to see when they could send someone else, they told me they would «call me back»…well, still waiting… AHS assigned to another contractor, as apparently ACS cannot come to our subdivision until they pay their citation. Joke of a company.

My A/​C was really old and I needed to replace it with a new one. I was looking around for potential companies who could replace it. At my friend’s advice, I called ACS Comfort.
First, their service is good, but I really want to try and commend their good behavior when they came to my house for a free estimate.
They replaced my old A/​C with their Carrier brand. everything is perfect now because they paid great attention in regards to all the parts and any details that they put in the new system.
Thank you ACS Comfort crew and I hope that all of you can continue to keep doing a great job for others as you did for me.
